Used their services at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and another employee of ours used to work for them. Very poor company with very poor standards.

Building a house in Fox Hollow, I would have to say Cross Electric was definitely the bright point of our building process ,their guys were very knowledgeable and courteous, answered every question we had, well over and beyond our expectations, I would strongly recommend Cross Electric for any job.

Mr. Darwin Bird and his staff at RU Electrical Service, Inc. provide excellent quality electrical work to their customers. They are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I have always found them to be immediately responsive to my needs. Their communication with me has been superb. Recently I experienced an electrical outage at my home. My local power company was unable to diagnose the problem. I contacted RU Electrical Service, Inc at approximately 6:00 pm to schedule emergency service. Mr. Bird answered my telephone call personally and came to my home immediately. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. He explained the problem to me and then called the power company to advise them. In spite of further service needed by the power company, he continued to work diligently to restore power to my home. Obviously, I was completely satisfied with the emergency electrical service and quick response time provided by Mr. Bird. I highly recommend RU Electrical Service, Inc and I will continue to be a long-time customer.

This company is outstanding and I would highly recommend them for all electrical services! We built a new home and they did all the original electrical work as well as some additional services we requested after move in. The field reps are very knowledgeable and service oriented. The quality of workmanship is second to none and they showed up on time and were very fair in their pricing.

Based on my experience dealing with them while my house was being built by Arbor, I could not recommend them in good faith. The amount of errors and rework that was needed on jobs they did as well as the general sloppiness around the worksight and lack of attention to detail will cause me to look elsewhere for any electrical needs I would need.

I have worked with this contractor a couple of times in the past & they were never worth dealing with. I've noticed all of their Journeyman are stressed out & twitchy, some were druggies & the others I've met weren't worth meeting. In a business deal I can't say whether they're worth hiring or not but in a professional sense I've not been impressed.

No one over answers the phones!

They quoted me $975 to install 2 fans that needed wiring installed, change on fan and make the switch just run the light. I provided all fans. Also quoted to fix a light that was buzzing on the outside of the house. They came to install today. 15 days later and started telling me of things not included in the first quote. New price came to $1400. I sent them on their way. Then the office called and tried to tell me the price was fair and I should still do business with them.

Update July 2021: Brian did an excellent job in installing two lights in the ceiling, where no lights had been, and even though I told him surface wire was OK, he completely flushed (hid) the cable behind the walls and ceiling, and in the end NO cable showed whatsoever! Brian was ON TIME, vaped OUTSIDE ONLY, had a couple of GREAT SUGGESTIONS, and did quality work, for a reasonable price. Thanks, Kinder and Brian!
