Best Electricians in United States

I only needed a wireless door bell affixed to the outside (no screws.......just stick on) & the chime box affixed to the inside of my foyer (again, NO screws).
J & B Electric (Johnathan Brown Electric - Fort Mill, SC drove FIVE minutes (5 Minutes) to my house ( I clocked it) & charged me $60.00 to do this job! I suspect being 68 & a widow, I was a prime target!
I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE! They are shysters!

They showed up early and we’re very professional and courteous. Most definitely will be using them again.

Chris was very knowledgeable and installed my wiring and box the way I wanted it. Since I was having a hot tub delivered, he started the job immediately, then came back and finished the job the same day it was delivered. He had vast knowledge of local codes, and did everything the right way. Not only to satisfy code, but for my safety. Chris and his team care about doing things right, and they care about their customers.

Our company uses these guys for all our new construction opportunities. They are very reliable, highly recommend!

Treatment as a tech was horrible

My neighbor hired Al to replace rotted siding and trim on the outside of the front of his house and install outside lighting and a new electrical outlet. I had been helping my neighbor (who is not able to work on his home) with some small projects on his home. I knew of Al's professional reputation and suggested my neighbor hire him which my neighbor did. This was a project my neighbor wanted done and I knew it was beyond my experience level and knowledge to attempt this on my own.

I was able to assist Al on some of the siding that needed an extra pair of hands. (I've done minor home repair and remodeling myself as a non-professional for 40+ yrs & some lay person's knowledge.) So, I was on site the entire time and was able to see Al's work through the entire process. While not a large job, Al treated his work with the importance and dedication as though it was a truly important job that he valued doing. (Al replaced about 100 sq feet of siding.)

I must say Al does incredibly excellent work!! He explained the reasons for some of his construction strategy which greatly impressed me with how well he thinks through projects like this. He works efficiently and demonstrates a very high standard of excellence!

The price was extremely reasonable for my neighbor to be able to afford to hire Al. My neighbor and myself both believe my neighbor got more than his money's worth out of this job! Excellent work & great value cost wise.

Al's knowledge and expertise was just superb! He has a remarkably professional and amicable can do attitude with the experience and knowledge to back it up. He communicates a professional confidence in his manner that is reassuring.

It was a real pleasure to do business with Al. Both my neighbor and myself are super pleased with the high quality of the job and the efficient speed and timeliness that it was done! The front on my neighbors home looks fantastic and the quality of work will have the siding and trim last for many many years to come! Jeffrey was superb in determining the electrical issue we had with our wall switch and ceiling fan that initially would not turn off. He corrected the problem and everything was operating good as new! We contacted Jeffrey early evening and he told us he would arrive the following morning; which he did and flawlessly solved the problem at a very fair rate. We will definitely contact JTE for any future electrical needs.

No one wants to need an Electrician, but these guys make is so easy and affordable. The first time they come out, I had called 3 other places who were not available until the following week. The didn't have any openings but the owner came out same day to appease me. Then we've needed their help with two other problems since, and again it was same day service and fair priced. Kind men came every time. The last time they came it was related to our septic pump, and they saved us $1000k by recommending a reputable company they have worked with and we got better pricing by dropping his name. We appreciate great customer service, and we will definitely use them in the future!

Prov Elec was our second call when we came home to 80% power outage. The first electrician said we had three choices ..1st 6k, 2nd 1.2k and 3rd temp fix for 450. Thomas came the next day. He looked at breaker panel and then the outside meter. He showed me where the 240 side of the meter had died and was a Duke Energy fix at no cost. He called Duke with me...who guaranteed they would be there that night. I paid Thomas the nominal service fee and 3 hours later Duke came to my home and full electricity was restored.

First class electrician. No job too small or too big.

Breakers tripped in my house, resulting in a kitchen and dining room light and living room outlets which did not work. Hill Electric sent two technicians and they discovered two outlets which had been improperly wired by the builder! They replaced the outlets and rewired the system and everything worked perfectly! Just in time for Christmas too! These folks are great and do great work. They know their stuff!

I worked for these guys for a couple days, as a commercial electrician, for $12 an hour, because i was out of work at my main job, and i figured screw it i needed something to put dinner on the table for my wife and 4 kids, till i got to the next job. I had ended up getting a call back from my old job who had more work lined up, so i was obviously going to go back to 21 dollar an hour job vrs this one. I had made a call that friday to the owner to inquire about my paycheck from american tec, and he basically told me that i called them the N word and walked off the job. I believe this was his way out of trying to pay for the work someone else provided. My second day with them i had watched an ex employee of theres show up and lose his cool because they had refused to pay him as well, they in fact called the cops on him instead of making things right.. if this is how they treat there employees, guess how they're going to treat their customers? Stay away from these crooks, because once they screw you, you're just simply screwed

Dan was great. Professional, friendly, good price, and did an awesome job on our house. Dan installed 3 ceiling fans and a new kitchen light in our new house and everything looks great and works perfectly.

I called three times and no one ever returned my call. Poor communication.

Helms saved us from a previous electrical contractor's total botched job. We needed our electrical redone in a day and Helms was there and fixed everything according to code. They explained the things done wrong by the prior contractor and why it was important to fix the wiring. Without the fix, we would have lost our equipment plugged into the outlets. Thank you Helms for doing a great job and being honest and trustworthy.

Stanley was able to help me out on short notice and be able to fix the problem immediately! I would highly recommend Stanley for any electrician work. Very professional and friendly. He will tell you exactly what is wrong and what you may or may not need to do. Very reasonable prices as well!
