Frank Gay provided amazing and fast service. My sewer line was backed up and Jose came out and got it clear in no time at all. He was very courteous and professional. I appreciate the quick response from Frank Gay and will use them in the future!

Omg, what a great company. I clicked on schedule on the Google option and the technician was there in about 1.5 hrs later at 5pm. Nicholas was such a nice guy. Highly recommended! I have noted this company and will use them time and again for anything plumbing related.

Nicolas was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we received the best service. He exhausted all possibilities of troubleshooting before moving on to the higher priced parts. I will definitely give them a call again.

NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANYUpdate: The pump was replace April 2022, it broke July 2022 when I first wrote the review. Now March 2023 the replacement pump has broken again causing additional issues to my AC unit. Using this company has caused MORE DAMAGE to my unit.Spent $1800 for a condensation pump. The second the technician left our A/C stopped blowing cold air. They sent a second technician out who took apart part of the unit, did NOT put it back together and proceeded to tell us a list of things wrong that the first technician “didn’t catch” and that we needed a whole new unit. We got a second and third opinion to show that was a scam to try and get us to buy a new unit from them.Now less than a month after the pump has been installed it’s died out. After calling they want to charge $129 for a technician to come and look at a faulty part that their company installed.

Our A/C was not working. The came within 2 hours and fixed it on site. Had the parts with them. Great service. Very Professional.

My aged AC finally bit the dust in the 90+ degree heat so it was time to replace. I was especially impressed with the install team as they were very professional, kept me informed during the whole process, got it done in a day even though there were a lot of unforeseen obstacles, and did an outstanding job.

Our technicians Alexis and Victor were ontime, professional, and courteous. My AC fan and compressor went on the fritz and I decided to replace the whole system since my old system was coming to its end of service. They stayed and installed the new system well into the late evening.

Theodore was very professional and explained potential issues that could be fixed in detail that I could understand!

June, 2021 - This is our second time using Frank Gay Services and I'm just as pleased this time as the first time. Mike, the technician sent out to determine the issue (very low refrigerant) was friendly and informative. He discussed all of the options to help me make the best choice for my home, and didn't try to push the most expensive models. We had to get a brand new AC system because the refrigerant for our old one has been banned. The system was 20 years old and inefficient anyway. They gave us a very fair price, and it was installed NEXT DAY! (The other company we got an estimate from wanted us to wait an extra week in the Florida summer with no AC.) The installation team was so unobtrusive I didn't even realize there were three people until they were leaving. They did the job in about 5 hours (far less than the 10-12 hours estimated by the other company). I'm very impressed and will continue to use their services in the future.Sept, 2018 - Our air conditioning went out and we were dying in this heat! Thankfully, Frank Gay Services was able to send someone out to fix it the same day we called. Dustin was very polite, professional and explained everything he was looking at, and all of the actions he took as he went along. He fixed our AC on the spot with a new capacitor! I would definitely use this company again, and also recommend them to others!

My service technician “James A.” was very knowledgeable and upfront about what was going on with my unit. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue and kept an open communication. He was able to fix the unit as they typically have all the components on the truck to offer same day service or a quick turn around. I was not pressured into making any decision. The main goal was to get my AC unit back working. I signed up for the program to have my unit serviced regularly to prevent any issues. When scheduling my service repair the representative was very knowledgeable and helpful. They will continue to get my service.

We had toilet problems and within hours someone was here and by the end of the day we had two new toilets and everything was up and running. Great knowledgeable and friendly people. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Carlos Cardona and Nick were fantastic. They were punctual, respectful of our time and space and full of information. They explained everything they did as they proceeded, telling what to expect time wise. I can’t say enough about them and how happy we are with their work and the experience in general. I’ll never use anyone but Frank Gay for my plumbing needs although I think they did such a gray job, I I may not need a plumber again!!

I called for service for my broken unit when the house was getting hot. My technician Christopher Maldonado showed up within a hour of my service request! Fixed everything quickly and was very professional!

I called Frank Gay Services this morning due to broken water pipes in my home. The pipes were old cPVC and very brittle so I knew I needed the house repiped. Stephan came out within two hours, inspected my home and quoted me a fair price for the job. As a bonus he said they could do the job tomorrow. As I have been without running water due to the broken pipes I was very thankful. Other companies were booked up for the next few weeks so their ability to provide fast service and a fair price was greatly appreciated.UpdateCarlos and Nick did a great job repiping my home. They worked well as a team and were friendly and professional.

Johnny came to do a plumbing inspection and annual maintenance on our water heater. He was very friendly and conversational (even with my 4-year-old following him around), he did a great job with the services provided, and let us know about preventative actions we could take in the future. So far, I really like the value provided as part of our annual membership with Frank Gay!

I rarely write reviews. However, my experience with Frank Gay was one for the books. We called them out to service an AC system at our property. To replace a capacitor and add some refrigerant resulted in a charge of over $800. I was shocked at the price, but as many, I needed my AC working.Furthermore, the tech continued to try to sell me a service plan multiple times from the minute we engaged with them. I had never experienced such a sales heavy trade in the past.Not 45 minutes later, my AC system shuts off and wont come on again. I call the tech and they come back out at the end of the day to look at the system. They proceed to tell me that the ENTIRE system needs to be replaced and that will cost in the realm of $10-$15,000 for a 2.5ton system!All I could do is laugh and tell them to leave. Needless to say I found another local reputable company that put a new system in for me the next day for $5,000.So a word to all out there, BEWARE disappointing service and an extremely exorbitant pricing. I plan to share this feedback across my community as I learned the hardway paying $800 for 45 minutes of use from my fixed AC by FRANK GAY.Good luck to all out there.

Frank Gay services are a professional bunch. From their customer service assistants that helped me make the appointment (and then switch it to a different day without any problem due to a schedule conflict on my part) to the plumber that came in and installed my daughter’a toilet in a timely manner. He was professional, knowledgeable and completed the job in no time. I am very pleased with the quality of the work.

Had a problem with my shower not caring a cold shower option. Dude came and used my hey keys to strip the shower handle. Then he says we need to drill it out. Goes out to get a quote for parts and never gets back to me. Super disappointed.

Howard was very professional he came in located the problem and fixed it. All the staff Frank Gay service has sent out to me have been excellent.

We called for a leaky faucet in the kitchen in August. Asked the tech to look at a shower head that might have needed a new gasket and a plumbing flusher that didn’t engage well. The tech took 15 minutes to address those issues and charged over 200 per “job.” Took more time to diagnose the faucet and quoted a 350 dollar repair to replace a component. Tech said the part would be ordered and job completed when it arrived. In September we got an email stating it would be there the following week. It still has not been repaired in February which is 6 months after the original service took place.Their pricing is not forthright from the techs. Their customer service does not follow up. We have called and been told a manager would call us back to advise but have not received any communication.Our experience has been overpriced and non responsive. Please look for another provider and do not call this company for your business.

We had to have an emergency visit on a Sunday afternoon of all days. We thought it was the septic system. It wasn't. Alex was on call for the day. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about our plumbing issue. At the end of the visit, he talked to us about the plumbing structure and what was the problem. He discussed how to maintain the system and what we needed to do, which products to buy and how often to use them, also if we had any questions. We did, and he answered them. You have a great employee who is a wonderful person. Thanks ever so much Alex.

Had a wonderful experience with Frank Gay HVAC! Our AC was not working, and we were able to have David come out same day to take a look at it. He gave us several options for repairs or replacement, and after thinking things over we opted for replacement. We were able to go from a somewhat working AC on Tuesday to getting our new replacement unit installed on Friday. 10/10 service.

The customer service rep on my the phone was great. He was courteous and helpful in getting an appointment with a technician within hours of calling to report issue with AC. Carlos called in advance of arrival and showed up at the time specified. He was quick to get to work and diagnose the problem and determine a solution to our AC issue. He explained in plain terms what our options were and how much each would cost. Carlos also helped by offering tips and advice on how to keep our AC clean and keep clean air pumping through the vents. With the diagnostic report he provided we were able to hold our landlord accountable for repairs to the AC unit. If it was up to us, we would have authorized Carlos to replace our unit. The AC unit both inside and outside were past normal life expectancy and we're due for replacement. We appreciate Carlos professionalism and honesty. Will def call again if we need more AC repair / maintenance work.

I applied for a yearly maintenance plan. They didn't replace the filter on my AC. You would think that would be included in a plan.

after installing a TXV valve the technician returned the following day to verify his work. It was determined that I needed a larger tonnage AC unit..

It's 98 degrees in my home currently. I'm waiting for the technician to come back to my home for the 2nd time today. The appointment window was between 2-6pm. It is now passed that. Not to mention I paid this company $214 and my air is blowing out hot air like the heater is on. This is unacceptable.

Called would not give quote over the phone tech drove from a hour away to give me a outrageous price. Then I had to pay $39 trip fee. Tech showed up with a nice clean shirt at the end of the day. I'm guessing alot of people are just paying the $39 fee. Waste of time and money.

I called Frank Gay because I had an outdoor leak I suspected was coming from the pipe that runs from the meter to my house. I was very pleased with the level of service I received from Frank Gay from the very start. I called yesterday and they were able to get me in the next morning. The plumber was very courteous and respectful. He kept me informed throughout the process. He was able to find the leak and repair it right away, the entire process took about one hour. Now I am worry free.

He was extremely knowledgeable on what was wrong with the system after diagnosis. Help me understand how the system functioned, and some of the precautions that I can take moving forward. Also showed me how to do simple maintenance. I would recommend John our service tech as well as the company.

When our homeowners insurance demanded we replace our hot water heater before renewal, we called Frank Gay Services for a replacement. We only had a 4 day time frame. Travis Rodriguez delivered and installed our new unit. Our driveway was in the process of being replaced, but Travis circumnavigated the obstacle with a calm cheerful attitude. As he was working, he made observations about the age of some pipes which was appreciated. He removed the old unit and left the work space in good condition.

4 months after installing a new AC unit and it STILL doesn’t work. I swear, these guys intentionally don’t fix the problem during your “1 year warranty” because they think you will call them back after it’s expired to fix the problems they create. I spent 10k on an ac unit and it stopped working within a week of installation. This unit has not worked properly, longer then 3 weeks at a time. I’ve made probably a dozen calls and had them at my house 7 times or more. I’ve had to take days off of work to have them come and check the problem, to just come back another day to actually fix it. I even another spent grand on a new lineset because after 3 months of not having a working AC this is all they could come up with. The lineset installer damaged a valve inside of the brand new unit so now I’m waiting for the part that is on “back order” for almost a month now. We have called 3 times and get no calls back.Oh, and it still have yet to have someone call me back regarding my inspection. What’s next, a fine from the city?The worst part of thing whole thing is that we not NEED a new AC. We bought our first home and wanted a new AC so we could AVOID problems like these. Frank Gay Services has made owning this home an absolute nightmare from day one. Especially considering the fact that we renovated it all by hand and needed a reliable AC to do so during the summer months.Here we are 3 months after installing a brand new unit with Frank Gay .. one month from installing the new line set… and slooooowly but surely the temperature is starting to rise on my thermostat. Just like it does every time. I just want my AC to work and it seems like that’s never going to happen. I would recommend staying FAR FAR away from this company.

When I was initially quoted I wasn’t able to be on the property so a friend relayed the information to me. After reading the quotes I was a little confused and gave my technician David a call. He was very responsive and we discovered an issue with the quote but after working with his manager they were able to honor it and give me an even better price because of the misunderstanding. The two technicians, David and Justin were friendly, polite, and professional (and easy on the eyes too!) We enrolled in the family plan and will be using Frank Gay Services for all our future jobs.

Wow, I am impressed, I have never ever had an AC Company install a temp portable unit while we waited for a part over a holiday weekend. Leaving me potentially with no air from Friday thru Wednesday. A long f___ing time. It wasn’t 100% comfortable but it made it tolerable . Thanks guys, now if you could make the cost better you would be great in my view….

We had a technician come out today, Joshua F. He was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything in multiple ways to make sure I understood. We had some electric wiring concerns so parts of my house weren't working but after Joshua left everything was amazing. Absolutely recommending.

The appointment scheduling and the technician was great. But to charge almost $400 to install a kitchen faucet which I provided and took 25 minutes to do was way too much.

We absolutely recommend Frank Gay Residential Services! They were on time, very professional and courteous and went above and beyond our expectations!

Frank Gay Inc installed my hybrid water heater in May 2015, and I noticed it was leaking yesterday . Called and they sent the techs out the next day; he noticed the condensate and cleared the drain. Recommended doing a flush soon for preventive maintenance but want to make sure that this was the issue first. If not, will call GE as the unit should still be under the 10 year parts/maintenance warranty. Curtis and Chris were both very helpful and took the time to explain everything to me.Update: The leak was still there after 2 more days. After calling the warranty company, they required a BradFord White licensed contractor... and informed that I should have been told by the techs that they aren't and shouldn't have worked on my machine. I've since had a licensed Bradford White contractor come out and fix the problem and I will use them going forward.

Mario was a great tech, he was super kind, timely, thorough, and educational. He gave me a quote for future upgrades too. My family and I are so thankful he fixed our electrical situation so we could have Air Conditioning again. Thanks Mario!

I would give 5 stars to the guys who showed up to do the job. 1 star to the company for charging waaaay over average for the work. I just paid $520 for a valve replacement above ground. I definitely should've called around...

My Neighbor and I had problems with clogging AC drainage and I called out Frank Gay AC team to have them correct the drainage since the existing drainage contributed to ongoing clogging issues. I was concerned because a tech on Frank Gay's AC team hadn't corrected the root cause of clogs, before. Jon took the time to correct the drainage and recommend an alternative solution for pipe replacement. I am very happy with Jon'ss work and made sure Jon was the tech to complete the work.

I am happy with the work. Thomas was nice and answered my questions etc. Only thing is I wish a picture was taken of the inside before it was sealed closed. Now it bothers me that I don't know what it looks like inside.

Alex is an OUTSTANDING Technician. I had him install new a new a/c system. Alex reenforced why Frank Gay is the only service company I trust to work for me and my family. I’ve had them out for A/C repairs, electrical repairs, and plumbing. Alex provided great customer service and a great customer experience. You can spend less initially from someone else, but you will certainly pay more in the long run. And you will not get friendly and rapid service.

Eddie & Roy did a fantastic job, very informative and upfront with costs during the whole visit. Frank Gay services was also very fair and waived fees because they were unable to make their appointment last night. The driver had worked a long day and it was almost 11pm, I was completely fine with the delay until morning - it shows they are cognizant about employee well being instead of pushing them too far. I’m perfectly fine waiting until morning and they saw to us first thing.Professional and fair company!

Had pluming done. The teck tells you one thing regarding price and service and the company charges you a different price. This company is nothing but a scam. Had to call four times to get a copy of my bill to see the charges they say I own. They charged me $417.00 . I was told I only had to pay $268.00. Part of that was a maintenance plan for $149 which I could cancel at anytime which I did. I should have only paid $119.00. Don't get scammed.

This is an awesome company. Very pleased with everything they did. We had a full house repiping and then the drywall repair. Initial repair was done by Steven. Repiping by Jack and Fred. Drywall by Robert. We would gladly have any of these guys do work here again.These guys rock!! Could not have been more professional and accommodating. Jobs were all done correctly the first time. Started the process and got a quote in the beginning of December of 2021. Made everything seem very promising and like they knew what they were doing and that it would be done quickly. We had a bad leak in our walk in shower and we wanted to demo the whole shower, replace the damaged drywall and install a 3 piece shower insert. After them taking all of the measurements, we put half of the quoted amount down. Almost 2 months went by and no work had been done. Everytime I call to speak to someone, I'm told a project manager will have to call me back and it takes days to get back to me. January 28th a crew finally came out to start the repairs only to find out that the shower insert they ordered was not going to fit. They informed me my only option would be to tile the whole shower and that they would have it tile ready before they left. Fine. This could of been avoided if they took correct measurements back in December. They did the demo and clean up. When I asked about replacing the damaged drywall (that was already included in the quote) they had no idea what I was talking about. That I would have to call to get that scheduled. Right now my shower is exposed damaged drywall, 2x4's and a shower pan liner. That's all they did. No green board, no concrete board, not even close to tile ready like they said it would be. Now for almost a week I've been waiting on a call back to get this project finished to at least the amount that we paid in. I'm about to just find someone else to finish the job and fight for some of my money back. Picture is how my bathroom was left. Can someone explain to me how this is tile ready? How doing just this took 2 months??

Jordan was very professional, courteous and was very informative. He was prompt to the appointment. There was a delay, since he had to leave to go get the valve for our particular water heater. The only concern was that the water was not flushed as indicated on the service summary, which was provided after the fact. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! READ THE BBB Reviews, not these!They charged us $177 a pound for Puron that our unit needed. We supposedly needed almost 6 pounds, so over $900. I felt like they were price gouging me, I called 3 other places after he left and they said they charge $75/pound. They installed it in a system that I was later told was so rusted and needed to be replaced ($13-14K because my system is not up to code apparently) because it was leaking. They then charged me another $200+ to find the leak that took him 10 minutes to find. Needless to say, if you are a female, do not use this company. I feel like I was 100% taken advantage of by a company.Just save yourself the frustration I feel from being taken advantage of and use someone else.

I had a pipe leak in the front yard. Jesse Compton was quick (same-day), efficient, and even suggested how I could lower my billing due the occurrence (even though I received the notice for it today, issues like this can have occurred months in advanced before something noticeable happens) so now I’ll also be discounted in my billing for showing my invoice. First off the technician felt he could just take a bottle of water from my business and 2 bananas. That is theft. I also paid my bill on time right when I got the bill. One month after that I got a Lien notice in the mail. I instantly called them and the lady confirmed by bill was paid promptly and she did not know why that would have been generated. I will never do business with this company again. Their employee felt entitled to take food without paying and they tried to put a lien against me when my bill was paid probably faster than most.

I was told it would be $39 for them to come out. But, I had to pay $98 before they would even start an assessment. My problem was no water coming to my washer. Was told my whole house had to be re plumbed to fix it even though everything else works perfectly. Estimate was insane!

Called them to schedule my maintenance I get as part of the family plan. Scheduled it and when they came out, they took good care of the machine , respected our property and were professional. 10/10

Ronald came out and was extremely professional, good conversation and respect for our home. However, the pricing was at least triple what any other large business was going to charge us and quadruple small companies. While very professional and clean. I cannot advise anybody to go with this company considering how much more they charge. The basic toilet they were offering us was over $500, just for the toilet not including install. Install was another 500 plus. They will also try to charge you a visit fee of just under 40 bucks to give you the ridiculous quote.

Absolutely fantastic service from Frank Gay Services! I scheduled an emergency appointment for later in the day (more expensive) but received a call saying they had a cancellation and could get me in earlier (much cheaper rate). The sent their plumber Jack, who called me well in advance to let me know he was on his way and again when he arrived. He assessed the situation thoroughly and explained everything that happened and what they could do. Jack was kind, thorough, and genuinely wanted to help make the situation much easier for me. This company is very unprofessional. I scheduled services and decided to cancel a week in advance. They charged my card $427 and have been giving me the run around about my refund. Next I'm calling the BBB because it shouldn't be this difficult getting a refund for services not performed without getting the run around about when. DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

They were professional and nice. A little pricy but I like how they have a financial plan to help with the cost of a new air conditioner. We did have to call them back after replacing our capacitor due to a wire being connected to the wrong spot by the first person who came out and it caused our condenser to shut off and our a/c not to work. Not having ac made me miss work because it got me sick being in a muggy home but the guy who came yesterday put the wire in the right spot and now we have cold continuous air and I’m a happy camper. The lady who initially set up my first appointment was super friendly and knowledgeable.

He promptly reviewed the situation and advised us that the issue was not what we thought and not in his area of expertise. He called Frank Gay customer service for us and a technician in the needed area was scheduled to come out for the repair - that same afternoon. This all occurred after 3:00 on a Friday. Larry was very knowledgeable and sincerely cared about safety. For our 50 year old house there were many safety issues that we did not realize. The repairs he recommended are expensive but he gave us some options. I can't say if it's a good value for the money because I don't have other estimates, but everything he pointed out was honestly a serious safety hazard, and I felt I could trust him. I also want to compliment his polite and kind demeanor in dealing with a difficult personality, and thank him for his patience.

Their serviceman, Floyd, listened to my needs and took care of them quickly and efficiently. I have a 100 year old house and needed an outside spigot capped. He took care of it quickly and he offered their other services but wasn't pushy. I would definitely recommend their services based on Floyd's workmanship.

Esteban was thoroughly professional but sympathetic and helpful in suggesting ways to make getting a new air conditioning system affordable. He spoke in A way that I could understand the problems. But in no way spoke down to me. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend him to anyone.

Horrible service. Insane prices. They quoted me $400 to fix a faucet leak that I got fixed by someone else for $75. They have a used car salesmen approach to simple repairs, i.e. quoting you a ridiculously high price and then saying Oh I'll talk to my boss and we'll see if we can bring the price down and then coming back 10 minutes later with a lower but still insanely high price. This is a shady business. Call someone else!

I had an issue with my shower when I decided to try some I recommended cleaning and got something stuck in the drain and Nicholas Santiago responded to my house and did a fantastic job. I called Frank Guy to diagnose water leaking from under HVAC platform. However, after checking out system, the technician couldn’t find any leak caused by our HVAC system. While this didn’t solve our problem, it was critical in eliminating a major concern of needing an HVAC repair and possibly being without AC in 100+ degree Florida weather.Suspecting the worse, we had contacted four HVAC companies and Frank Gay was the only one that could provide service on under three days. Frank Gay provided next day service including up to 12 o’clock midnight. Their technician Javier was very professional and checked our system very thoroughly and explained why he didn’t believe our system was the source it the water. Although it was late at night he never seen rushed to complete his work. He also let us know Frank Gay also had other technicians who could address the source off of the leak. We were pleased with Javier Frank and Gay service and would recommend both.

My husband scheduled an appointment to fix our AC. We paid for the service before hand and they told us they'll come fix it around 6-10pm the same day. It's past midnight and nobody showed up, no heads up. no phone or a text to let us know. Very unprofessional. If you have an emergency, never use this company.

With this company, I feel cheated. I made a maintenance contract for $200 and it’s simply not worth it. For two visits a year, just to simply clean pipes and check electrical parts while having to pay for everything else… I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT… Once I cancelled the service I was only refunded $70 because of an incomplete job.

The project included the tearout and opening up of the space and rebuilding of the existing kitchen plus work from the plumbing, electric and HVAC departments. We were concerned with having a project with a very short timeframe handled while we were out of town, but, we could not be more pleased with the results. Dave & Skip kept us regularly updated with progress including photos of work ongoing and abreast of any changes we needed to make. When I set up the appointment Mary was very helpful getting my profile set up and get me scheduled for the next day for service. She also told me about their Family Plan which I took part of. My AC stopped working on Memorial Day. Dharius was at my home less than 24 hours after I called for service. He was professional and thorough. After a test or two, he gave me some Freon and now the house is cooling. The quick response and professional demeanor are much appreciated.

Nicholas did not perform an outstanding job repairing an exterior faucet leak. FG charged almost $300 to remove a leaking back flow ring off my faucet and it still leaks. My initial request was to REPLACE the faucet bib but the tech stated it would be about $600. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Frank Gay now or in the future to Any one.

Carlos is awesome! He was able to find the leak in my bathroom when no other company could . He fixed the leak quickly and cleaned up after himself. He is very knowledgeable and gave me some very good information about my pipes, water filtration, water heater and a number of other things in my home . Will definitely recommend and use them again.

Extremely overpriced. A technician worked 2 hours to replace a 8 foot section of PVC water line with two fittings. $2,200!$1,100 per hour! WowFollow up: Their customer service representative offered me an insulting, $220 to buy my silence. To get it, I would have to remove my post and sign a customer satisfaction agreement. The job they did should not have been more than $300. I've been a construction manager for over 30 years. I know what plumbing repairs should cost.

Carlos arrived on time this morning and recommended a full rebuild including the angle valve which had gone bad causing the toilet issues. When he went to go turn off the water noticed my main line valve going to the house in very poor shape. When he went to turn it back on with me it began leaking quite heavily. He gave me a reasonable quote for quality parts to replace it. His quality of work is outstanding and highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs.

Had to have Frank Gay back out to explain how to change filter. The mastic covered the latch so that it wouldn’t open. The employee who came by cut the mastic off of it. Simple fix, but I didn’t know how to fix it.

These guys are CROOKS stay away at all costs you've been warned.Had an issue with an electrical outage in my house in the middle of the night, called both Duke Energy and Frank Gay electrical services.Duke Energy came out at 4:00 a.m. and fixed the problem from the transformer to the house. The next morning Frank Gay services arrived and the technician charged their typical $39 trip fee.This is where things went south. I told him that the problem was fixed but he said since we're out here and you're paying the $39, let me at least check out. Both electrical panels. Sounded legit.He looked at my electrical panel and told me that he saw electrical arcing from Sparks which created burn marks near the circuit breakers. He then went outside and looked at the outside box and said he saw more of the same. This was an absolute lie.Short version of the story. He gave me an estimate for $8,500+ and told me I needed to address the problem immediately or risk having the house burned down in an electrical fire.He wanted me to sign a contract on the spot which I refused. When they left. I called two additional electric companies to come out and take a look at my panel. Both of them told me there was absolutely nothing wrong inside or outside and that the brown marks he showed me were not burn marks from electrical arcing. It was actually electrical contact grease which is used to keep the terminals secure and free from corrosion.I can't imagine how many families they've done this to and taken advantage of. What and absolute disgrace. Next stop is reporting them to the better Business bureau. Stay away from them!

My AC randomly stopped working on an afternoon recently. Called these guys and within 2/3 hours there was a tech at my house already doing the diagnostics and repairs. I called Frank Gay. The Bertin Quionoes was the tech that came out. He broke the solenoid off my ac unit and turned my switch upside down so it wouldn't work no matter what. He then told me I needed $3000 in repairs!! I called another company and it was fixed for $275. What a SCAM!! BEWARE!!!

They called to rescheduled our 1st appointment, then we were told they would be here from 8am to 10, they even called to say the worker would be here at 10am, well at 11am we decided to call to see if they are still coming an person on phone said its suppose to be 10-2pm. What a waste of time. Person on the phone did not seem to care about our time as they chuckled about the time. Would not recommend as they clearly are not reliable from the start.

My AC stopped cooling on Wednesday around 2pm. I called Frank Gay Serviced and John Renta was at my house by 6:30pm. He didn't have the part available and I had to go back to work, but he came back the next day and my AC was fixed by 10:30am. Quick, reliable service by Frank Gay and extremely nice and friendly as well by John.

Last night (early AM), my bathroom flooded. Frank Gay Services couldn’t care less. I called and gave the needed information and was told I’d receive a call from the dispatcher within 15 minutes. I was very patient and waited over an hour before calling back. They made me give ALL of my information over again, which is very frustrating for a customer already dealing with an emergency. Why isn’t that saved anywhere? I was again told 15 minutes for a call. I waited 30 min this time before calling back and they wanted my information AGAIN. What really blows my mind is that they confidently keep saying 15 minutes for a dispatcher call and then on the 3rd try when I called them out and asked if they actually knew where the dispatcher was, they said no because there’s no direct communication. They just “page” them with the request. I had my phone in my hand the whole time so luckily I caught it, but when I finally did get a response it was via text. Easy to miss if I wasn’t paying attention. I guess they were scared to call because they knew this is ludicrous.By 8am I still didn’t have a set ETA so I cancelled as another company showed up by 9am. Word to the wise: don’t advertise 24/7 emergency services if you can’t even keep your word with effective communication. I do understand that there may only be one overnight plumber, but the lies and dead end communication have got to go.

I used Frank Gay for electrical services. I wanted to have my outdated light fixture upgraded to something more modern and classy.My technician was Mario and he was incredible! Very fast and efficient service. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable.I highly recommend this company!

I’ve never given a negative review until now. 10 years of history with this company. I’ve had new units installed and serviced over this period by them. Recently they did maintenance on my warrantied unit and the technician punctured a hole in the (less than 2 year old) coil. They then claimed that the damage was not done by them and that the “warrantied” repair cost was going to be 2300 for a 4 hour job to cover labor costs. System worked worked perfectly prior to maintenance…system was completely drained of all refrigerant out of the system 15min after the tech left…I have cancelled all accounts with this dishonest company. I recommend you look elsewhere for sales or service.Update: customer service has reached out to me and promised that someone from the management side of things would reach out to me and try to fix this issue. It has been weeks and I haven’t heard from anyone regarding any recourse. I have since paid a different company to come and replace my coil. New technician showed me the coil that frank gay was maintaining was damaged by the caustic cleaner that frank gay uses. This product is supposed to be sprayed in the drain line and over the coil and then completely rinsed away so that it doesn’t eat away the delicate coil. My coil was 100% corroded by frank gays mistake In not rinsing this cleaner after their “maintenance” that I was paying for. Please don’t use this company. Horrible customer support, extremely overpriced and unreliable. Learn from my mistake and go elsewhere.

I had an emergency service done on 8/20/2023 on my AC. Of course there was a emergency fee which I had to pay upfront on Saturday when I called. It took the tech 15 minutes to find the problem. The drain line was clogged and the float rose and shut of the unit. It cost me another 200 dollars to have the line sucked but I needed the AC to work for health reason. Now I am 70 years old on a fixed income. The tech asked if I wanted to purchase the year membership plan and I did. After a few days I said to my self, wow a company that charges you 200 plus dollars to suck water from a line. Total time on site 25 minutes and a 469 dollar bill. I called to cancel my membership after 10 days and knew about the 50 dollar non refundable fee, but they charged me a 25 dollars for the 10 days I had the membership. They have very cute commercials, and the tech was nice, but there is no way to contact a manager or owner as there is no email.I will add to my review and change it from 3 to 5 star. I was contacted by Rachel from Frank Gay, who listened to my concerns. I gave her constructive criticism about the service with a suggestion to possible add that if there are no parts and something involves just a 10- or 15-minute labor to fix, possible add an hour of labor to the service charge. Make the customer want to come back. Money is tight for us all and a gesture to not charge a flat fee of 225 dollars but an added labor hour to cover the technician time shows that Frank Gay does care about its customers and wants them to return. Having someone reach out is a right step to show that they do care about you and want you to continue to use them in the future. I will be interested to see if they take my idea to heart.

Absolutely appalled by the lack of knowledge of my Tech. Appeared to have no understanding of the system. I had to supply tools as he did not even have a simple flat blade screwdriver to remove a vent to retrieve his phone that he dropped into my duct work. Started to tell me he could not do the job because he did not have a heat gun. I did. Got it for him.. never used it, instead changed his mind to use the heater of the unit. Requested from dispatch that refrigerant be on hand has it had done the same thing 3 years ago. No scales to do that job either. Called around to other techs looking for one... none showed up.After having to retrieve him multiple times from his truck (just sitting in it on the phone) to tell him the system is shutting down because of a slow drain during a defrost routine, and after hearing sales pitch after pitch about maintenance plans, and fixing other areas in my house, I finally just threw him off property. The commercials may be funny, but the service is dreadful!!! Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a service company for your needs.Update: And the Cherry on top... After sitting on hold for almost an hour to their Customer Service Department.. I got redirected to a full mailbox.That's the Frank Gay way! La la la la....

DO NOT use this company for any AC repairs. You have been warned. Don't even bother calling them for a quote, they are crooks and exactly what is wrong in this industry. They will exploit any power imbalance and lie to you to swindle you into buying a new system.Called them to come look at my air handler. They sent out a tech to come look at it and he arrived very quickly which makes you feel like they're a good company. Unfortunately, it's all downhill from there. They don't send out real techs for your initial diagnostic, they send out salespeople with one mission, to sell you a new system.They lied to me about the damage to my air handler, they lied about the age of my system, they lied about the cost of repairs or flat out inflate the cost to make you think it's worthwhile to just replace your system. The salesperson looked in the top of my outside unit for literally one second and said yep this one is fried too which just shows you how full of it they are. After I asked him to leave because I wanted a second quote he sat outside my residence and came back to my door THREE TIMES to tell me about discounts or that he accidentally left his tools.Just a dishonest and scummy company all around. I can't speak for plumbing or electrical, but based on their shady business practices in this area I wouldn't trust them with anything. Again, you have been warned.

Jordan showed up after 20 mins of me booking for an emergency plumbing issue. Water was leaking everywhere from my ceiling. He was able to fix the issue within an hour. The water damage caused electrical issues and he then called an electrician for me! Along with writing a report and submitting it immediately so I can provide it to my homeowners insurance.I would say not only is he efficient, professional, knowledgeable and kind but he went above and beyond to make sure I had all needed to rectify my problem. We tried 3 times to get someone put to the house. The first time no one called 45 min prior and just left and called 30 min after they left . The second attempt the tech says it will be late the window was from 6pm to 10 pm he showed uo at 7 pm no call 45 min prior to notify us just took a picture of the Gate and left. 3rd attempt the tech calls at 11 am saying he will be there in 45 min never showed uo tried to call him back several times would not pick up text him he states he now will not be until after 130 maybe . It's a vacation rental I had someone sitting there since 10 am no one ever showed . I called the office and they did not care one bit that there techs are extemly unprofessional. What a 3 ring circus .

After hearing countless commercials on how good their service and pricing was on these commercials, I wanted an estimate on my AC duct cleaning. My condo is less than 1200 ft.² And I received two previous estimates on duck cleaning ranging from $300-$500 from other ac companies. I was shocked to hear when Mike the technician called me to advised me that it was going to cost $1200 to do the same service. It almost felt like he didn’t want to do the job , so he just over priced the service. I called and spoke to Miranda in customer service who was aggressive and rude and was nothing like you advertise on your commercials. She was no help and had no answers to any question I had. I still can’t believe Mike said $1200 to clean the ducts in a 2/2 condo when the highest estimate I had was $500 at that point.

Roy was very friendly and professional! He seemed to be very knowledgeable about the workings of my AC system, came prepared with detailed explanations of Frank Gay’s services and options, and most importantly, made himself available for a return visit later in the day, demonstrating a flexible scheduling mindset and a willingness to be there at the time when I needed information or clarification. And though I ultimately made a different choice based on my personal situation, finances, and other advice, Roy is still definitely someone I would recommend to anyone wanting to consult or call for AC matters. From the time I called and spoke to customer service to the short time I waited for a technician to show up, amazing and awesome experience. Phone call was quick and easy, basic info, within 10 minutes of hanging up with her I received a text with a picture of the technician that was coming out. He also called to let us know he was 30-40 minutes out. Once he arrived, he introduced himself, he put booties on over his boots before entering (I didn’t ask him to but I believe it’s their policy) he figured out my issue within 10-15 mins. He was upfront and honest about what it was. The options we were given was to have the technician wait here while the unit defrosted and then he could service it and here’s how much for that option or we can turn system off, let it defrost overnight and we show up tomorrow to “diagnose” and repair. He said it didn’t matter to him, he did not mind waiting, we decided to not pay the $400 for him to wait for the defrost and to just come back tomorrow. I will update the review once the new technician comes tomorrow

John King is a superstar. He took care of the obvious needs today, but he could feel there was something else that needed to be addressed to make the system work perfectly - and he found the problem and a solution. Recently our A/C system developed a major water leak ( a/c condensation drain pipe blockage ) which consequently overflowed causing multiple ceiling leaks on the lower floor’s ceilings . After having another a/c company attempt to resolve this issue ( incomplete ) , I called Frank Gay Services and they immediately dispatched their service technician , Mr. Alex Pereira . He was extremely thorough and spent a few hours testing and vacuuming all water culminations . The absolute BEST troubleshooting of the complete A/C system I have ever experienced. He called me to let me know he was about a half hour out. He actually made it to my house before two. He was nice, respectful, professional. He wore little hospital booties to enter my house (As opposed to the other who just walked in, boots and all).Floyd assessed the situation, gave me the quote (they are based on project accomplished, not time to accomplish it), and then he got right to work. Instantly he found a crack in the tank which the other plumber never even mentioned as a potential problem.He then fixed both toilets and was on his way. He sent me the paperwork with pictures and everything to get to my insurance company.I cannot say enough nice things about this company. If you need a job done, you need it done right, you need it done ONCE...call Frank Gay. There is a reason they have so many great reviews!!!

Company prices are comparable and fair but the business model… That is something to capture and emulate!

Paid $64 dollars for them to come out and gave me a $578.33 quote to switch a shut off valve on a pvc pipe. The part is $30 and it shouldn’t take more than 20min max for a professional to fix it! Outrageous pricing !!!

Someone came to the house to check out what’s wrong with our ac unit. I thought we are only going to pay $89 dollars to diagnose the problem. I was caught off guard when he said we owed $300. He should have flat out mentioned the extra fee before doing any work. He just opened and closed the ac. He also was quoting some ridiculous amount of money to replace our ac unit. I asked him to email the specs and estimate so I can understand better what he was quoting. He never did and instead he just emailed me the invoice. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with the service because there’s so much advertisements and hype about this company. I would not recommend. I found someone else to do my ac unit for half the price and replacing everything brand new for half the cost.

The service was good, but I feel like the pricing is not fair. After a first visit where I was told my septic had issues (and I spent money to have that pumped), I had to have them come out a second time. Then it was discovered I had grease issues in about 15 feet of pipe. I was first told it would be $1500 and then I had to haggle with my plumber and he kept calling his manager. I asked if I could get an hourly price because I believed the job would be pretty quick and they said they couldn't do an hourly rate. Other than the setup of a pressure washer and breakdown, the main cleaning of the 15 feet of line took less than 30 minutes and they said it would still be $750. I still don't think that is a fair price for 15 foot of pipe and about an hour total of work. They should really have a no-haggle policy and adjustments for when an issue is easier than expected.

08/08/2023. Frank Gay Services and Daniel C. came to the rescue today, for a spur of the moment that another discipline commented that he could not do the Tile Work. And this was after a 3 way phone conference 3 weeks ago, with the Tile Co, who was not definitive in their explanation of the Tile Job’s needs. I am forever grateful for easing my mind! The Staff at Frank Gay and Daniel, were extremely understanding and accommodating. Daniel was and continues to be efficient, and shows this in his professionalism, attitude and posture. Our air went out, worker came out to inspect our unit, spent 30 minutes and said we needed a whole new unit at the cost of $12,000 or a $15,000 unit, gave him$90 for the service, had another company come out $200 for a new compasitor and to find out we did not need a whole new unit and air handler is a bit disheartening, also this company used scare tactics to try to get us to get the new system

They told I would get my money refunded back on my card, but instead they sent me a e- receipt and kept my $ 249.00, after they promised to give me a full refund. What a bunch of crooks. Worse company to turn too. They will take advantage of the situation and charge you not finish the work than come back another day and charge twice. Never using them again. Frank Gay has excellent services provided with very professional staff. Alex, out of Lady Lake, took me step by step on what I need to look for when taking care of and maintaining my a/c unit in between the time of check up. I would also like to thank Al for his patience and due diligence.

I have had Frank Guy come out and have a my pipes flushed to do to back ups. The work men were very professional and did a go job. I wanted a garbage disposal installed but do to the piping in my older house it the plumber said it wasn't recommended which I appreciated rather than try to sell me what was going to be an expensive service to move pipes and install a new sink. He was much more knowledgeable than other plumbers who have come out and was able to solve our problem with the backed up drains which two other plumbers failed to do. He also was very open about things like it would be better to buy my own sink because they sell them but they tend to be expensive.I also had an electrician come out and install and external outlet, and an electric car charger as well as add surge protectors to my electrical boxes. The gentleman who came out to do consolation was very nice and even gave me a lot of advice on solar panels and batteries which had nothing to do with why he came out for. The electrician who came to do the work was also very professional, suggested some better options for a cleaner looking installation and did a great job.They have a reasonable home warranty program I signed up for which paid for it's self on the first job I had done with plumbing. Also I was able to get the work I needed done really quickly in fast.They do seem a little on the higher end price wise. However, since the technicians were really high quality and actually were able to address my problems and answer all my questions it is probably worth it. Example I had a plumber out that charge me less but wasn't able to fix my drain problem. So it was actually to total waste.They do charge a fee for coming out but they apply it to any service you have done. They also waved the fee on one of my services because the technician was already in the area.

Following the completion of a whole home rewire, I would hire Frank Gay again without question. Marcus has provided outstanding customer service and has been tremendously helpful since the very first visit. Mike, the lead installer, is professional and dedicated to his work. I had a pinhole leak under my kitchen faucet that I was not able to locate. I called at 7 am on a Sunday and was told they would dispatch someone immediately. At 10 am the service technician arrived. He was very nice and courteous but automatically began trying to sell me on a total repipe job. The leak turned out to be more accessible than initially thought and he was able to fix pinhole leak with 4 inch piece of pex tubing and a sharkbight. Total cost was $500! I understand it was a Sunday but $500 for a compression fitting and 30 minutes of work is unreasonable. Again the technician was very nice and knowledgeable but I now see how they can afford all those commercials…

He was professional, explained the repair options thoroughly in terms I could understand, that enabled me to make an informed decision. Jose was awesome! He arrived early, so I wasn't home, but he patiently waited for me. The issue was with a fuse in the fuse box. He said this is a common problem and had everything fixed in about 10-15 minutes. 😊 Thank you, Jose!

They insisted we needed a new circuit board - $3100 cost. We later found out that should have been closer to $1600. The new circuit board did not solve the problem. Had to call them back out. They now claimed it was the main breaker. Quoted $1100 more to fix it. Called two different electricians to come out. Both quoted $275 for the same job. Both said circuit board had not needed to be replaced as that was not the source of the problem. Problem was fixed for $275. Frank Gay would have had us paying $4200 total (between circuit board that was not the problem and replacing main breaker). Will not use again.

I guess I thought there would be some sort of actual preventative maintenance on something, cleaning ducts or something. I just felt I paid someone to come out and sell me. When I reached out to Frank Gay Services, I did not expect such friendly and knowledgeable professionals. Julio G. and Luis R. came on time to install the indoor and outdoor system. We had slept without AC for two nights and we were already feeling miserable but Julio and Luis’s friendly demeanor had made things a lot better. Josh not only he did a great job, he also explain everything in details. These are the people that I wish we had more of. Unbelievable! After sending a camera down our drain and telling us the drain pipe had collapsed under the building, we tried for 11 days to get them to give an estimate for the repair. We finally told them we will pay for what they had done, but are going to another contractor to get the actual repair done. They promptly sent a threat to put a lein on our property if their bill is not paid in full!This is not how a reputable business operates.

Worse service ever. Paid for nothing technician came to my house and even though I pointed where the problem was he didn’t check properly. Now two week after I have a huge leaking in my bathroom and cannot even schedule an appointment. First made an appointment for Saturday 10 am, the technician called me at 3:30 pm saying that he was 30 minutes away. I then asked to reschedule for today the earliest time available, and they said that it was done. Just called and the appointment was not rescheduled as it promised. Lost another time of work because of their terrible customer service. Do not recommend at all!!

My experience with Frank Gay seems to have been better than a lot of others. I called them to quote on a new hot water heater for my recent home purchase. The tech (Ralph Emeran) arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. Of course he tried to upsell me on a few items as it's part of his job and was respectful when I declined them. The price quoted was higher than I expected (I DID do my homework) and they were willing to negotiate it to a more competitive cost and I had the install completed the same day without any issues. I have no complaints and would easily recommend them.

Our Master Bedroom shower handle came off. Hired this company to install a new one. Cost over $700.00 for a 30 minute job so be prepared to pay alot. After they left hot water is coming out lukewarm. Before they came to fix the handle water came out steaming hot. Called them again since this is covered under warranty and technician installed incorrectly when putting handle back on. Should be an simple adjustment since technician did not put back in properly. The new technician that came in today seem like he was not that experience. We tested other shower heads in the house all are coming out super hot but not the master bed after they did the job. At the end of the day he said not under the warranty and need to pay another $600 plus to replace the entire unit. Unbelievable. I declined to robbed another $600 plus. Do not recommend.

He was very conscientious about the things Frank Gay does as a business. He also has tons of knowledge in the electrical field, and most important has ethics...I was very impressed!

I requested an appointment for an evaluation of our electrical systems to our outdoor pool pump. Donald was able to confirm that we in fact had no problems with our electrical and that it was most likely the pool pump that needs to be replaced. Since he was there he took the time to go through the house and answer any other questions I had about electrical functions throughout the house. He was very knowledgeable gave us great tips and was very polite and courteous. Two for two… Frank Gay Services has not disappointed since I joined their maintenance membership with them.

Had called competition and response time was Tuesday at two. Oh by the way it’s Sunday morning. My A/C went out in the night and I live in central Florida and we know it’s hot. So I called the people who installed the a/c and they could get here as soon as Tuesday. Now me with four kids and a wife says, nope not acceptable. So hearing the Frank Gay commercials and never using before I called and got a same day appointment!! So I stopped looking and waited. My time frame was wide but I get why, it was from 2-6 he came at well 5:30 give or take ten minutes. But I am far away from local, so still in frame. Service was friendly, professional, and informative! So came out with a new capacitor and a yearly service plan with Frank Gay services! Definitely good and reliable.

Oh my word, I cannot recommend this company. They have been to my house 10 times on a new AC. It is drain is clogged...okay that was 4 times, if we put in a $900 pump it will work okay I have it installed. I go out of town two weeks come back my system shows fail in 72 hours. It is always something else. Thousands of dollars on a ONE year old system! Oh and the Family Member I have paid twice in 3 months and by the way, there is no help, no discount, not sure what that was for. No matter what they charge a 129 service call

The service was top notch! I’ve had nothing but nightmares with other companies but mike from Frank Gay Service was literally a subject matter expert. He was on time and very professional. He was able to provide the necessary information and answers to all my questions. He was very thorough and went above and beyond what he was asked to do. Lewis came out to give us an estimate. Very helpful, answered all our questions, very professional even sending us a text when he was on his way. We're still in the deciding stage on repiping, so his information was very valuable. I would add that when I initially called, the rep was pleasant enough but clearly reading from a script, some of which did not apply. Scripts are fine as long as it's not so obvious that it makes you feel like just a number, not a valued potential client.

I would give no star if I could. Very unprofessional and have no word. They way over charged me for repiping, installed the cheapest pipes in the market, and didn’t finish the job. I’ve been trying to get them to come back and finish the job over a month. Three times they schedule me for an appointment, but they never show up. I’m still waiting. Also, they lied in their quote. They over promised me that they would fix additional items verbally, when time came, the manager told me that it wasn’t part of the job. I strongly DO NOT Recommend. Very frustrating. Trust me, anywhere else is better. I will never use their services again.

Zac was very friendly and helpful the whole time and went above and beyond while performing the work on my toilet. Inspected the pipes and everything, even let me know that the previous plumber was silly enough to accidentally put a second wax ring in the ground! He cleaned up after himself and left the toilet and bathroom clean10/10

Dwayne arrived on time and figured out the issue we had. Ultimately our sewer was damaged from a utility install. Dwayne identified the problem and arranged for repair work by the offending electric company. I was expecting to have to do that part myself. Worth every penny!

We hired Frank Gay Services to install external lighting around the perimeter of my 85 year old dad’s house after he had been repeatedly robbed by a homeless man with a drug habit. I explained the situation and the need for a quick response. They sent an electrician out the next day. John A. was wonderful. He was on time, professional, very pleasant and accommodating. He was very patient with me while I explained the safety issue and the need to completely cover all areas. John really knew what he was doing and helped create a package that was perfect for us. He gave us options to help decide what would work while being respectful to our budget. We were very impressed with John A and Frank Gay and will definitely recommend them for work in the future. Came out for a water leak on something they fixed. Was there all of 5 mins. Charged 200 dollars and 12 dollars for a drain stopper they never even gave me. Called asked to speak to someone it’s been two days and no call.

Replaced water heater resistance heaters. The technician David Vasquez performed very efficiently, was engaging, and explained the details of the repairs required, as well as alternatives that could be considered. He is definitely an excellent representative for his company.

I contacted Frank Gay when my AC pipe froze up , it was probably low on freon. The repair man Roy Sept. 30 did not perform any diagnostic testing, simply said I needed a new unit for $10,300. I asked him to inject the yellow dye to find the leak and he refused. I asked him to use the freon sensor to locate the leak, he said he had it in his truck, but he refused to use it. He had a clever reason not to repair the unit, only to sell me a new one and had a sales book. Frank Gay did not send a repair man, they sent a salesman who bad mouthed my existing unit. Then he charged me $89 and left. I had to call another AC company to replace only the evaporator coil the next day for about 10% of the cost of replacing the unit. Frank Gay called me and said they would refund my $89 service fee if I removed this post, I prefer others know the truth about them.

With all the radio ads for Frank Gay, I was skeptical, however, unlike many other services, where they are late there is poor communication, or they can not provide the service for several weeks. The entire process was painless, from scheduling the appointment online, to the notifications, through the actual service. The technician was professional, friendly, and efficient. I will certainly use them again and I highly recommend them.

Called them to repair my toilet, only because I used to use Kiley & Sons. They showed up on time for an estimate which was a floating amount depending on how you questioned them. Got the toilet repair amount settled for $273. Asked them to replace a shower head which I had already purchased and they wanted to charge $298 for unscrewing the old one and putting on the new one, a 5 minute job at best. These people are ones you shouldn’t use and can’t be trusted.

He called prior to visit and gave me the eta time. Arrived with a smile and accessed the situation. Gave me options and worked to do repair. Professional, courteous, and friendly. Did a fine job updating my system. Am happy with the job. But plumbing is expensive no matter who you call.

Please get multiple quotes before you use them. They bring new meaning to highway robbery. Found out they are know owned by a large entity and they operate like one. They shove the Family Plan down your throat so you will save money. Then charge criminal prices. For instance, $350 for a tank rebuild. Yup, those plastic parts you buy from Home Dept for under $20. Then come back out the next week and say sorry that didn't work, you need a new toilet. $700 for a new toilet and and install. I actually thought that was high, but fair. I call to get my $350 back for the tank rebuild and they said, we took that off of your bill, normal price for the toilet and install would have been $1,030. Are you kidding me? I don't think I've ever written a bad review in my life, but if I can protect others from getting taken advantage, it's worth the 10 minutes to submit. Very, very disappointed. Go with a locally owned plumber for sure.

They fixed the issue - but never told me how much I was going to be charged and because they had my Credit Card on file, they charged whatever dollar amount they wanted and added all these miscellaneous fees. They only serviced our location for not even 1 full hour and charged us for 4 hours of work. Use a different company or make sure you have in writing how much the cost will be. I will never use them again. Unprofessional. Called and emailed multiple times and still am to dispute the price, and they claim their time and work was justified, but we never agreed to it or gave them acknowledgement or were made aware of cost.

Our water heater sprung a leak on a Sunday evening and while we called several 24/7 emergency plumbing companies, they were booked solid and couldn't spare anyone. Thank goodness for Frank Gay, who sent Joseph out within 30 minutes, who was able to solve the problem and provided quotes to avoid future issues (replacing water heater, replacing pipes due to the age of our home).

I engaged Frank Guy Plumbing for a shower valve replacement, that was completed within 20 minutes. The service was professional throughout the process. However, the cost presented an initial concern, with an initial quote of $466, eventually reduced to $350 after negotiation. While the service quality was solid and efficient, the pricing left a slightly negative impression on the overall experience.

Frank Gay determined that my water pressure was at 90 psi, which was causing my pipes in my water supply to “sing”, making loud humming & moaning sounds. High psi was causing pipes to vibrate within the walls of the home. The old pressure reducing valve was replaced with a new, high quality valve. The serviceman had a fully stocked truck, so I didn’t have to wait for parts to be ordered. He fully explained the steps he was going to take and why each step was needed. As a result, I feel informed and confident about the service visit. Also, the serviceman was very professional & courteous & friendly & was on-time. Work & parts guaranteed for 1 year. Last week I scheduled Frank Gay Plumbing for my 79 year old mom. All she needed was a basic kitchen faucet and to unstick the bathroom sink stopper. Her estimate was $1,231. Is the going rate? I ordered a $70 faucet from Amazon and will install it myself.The next day I received a follow up text message from Frank Gay Plumbing. I inquired about an $1,200 faucet and the only information I received is they could install a faucet for $451 if I provide that faucet.I'm not happy with the above experience. But if that's the going rate then I really have nothing bad to say about Frank Gay Plumbing. Online scheduling was easy, tech was on time, received text messages and a photo when he was on his way and the tech was very nice to my mom.Via texting, I asked that someone in management follow up with me:Me: No one from management has contacted me to discuss the estimate of $1,200 to replace a standard faucetFG: We can install a faucet you supply for $451++++Received a call from customer care. No justification for the pricing could be provided. Their best justification is a one year warranty on parts and labor. I made repeated requests asking for a call from someone that has the ability to address the pricing.

Angel (maintenance technician) was prompt, courteous and thorough. I really appreciated that he took pictures of each item that he checked and then took the time to walk me through what was done. He offered a few recommendations, but there was no high pressure to purchase any particular service or items. I really appreciate the full service and professionalism that Frank Gay and their representatives provide.

These people are a joke, I had to pay 200+ Dollars for an water leak inspection for the guy to do absolutely nothing to tell me the exact location of where my leak was, and the wanted me to pay 500+ more dollars just to use a detection machine. Don’t fall for the trap this company advertises on the radio. Apparently They have alott of money to spend on there very repetitive irrating commercials on the radio, But Charge a ridiculous amount of money just to find a water leak. NOT WORTH IT!!

Called Frank gay for an AC issue. First people came and checked out the unit and said it would be a $1600 fix. Second guy came and “fixed it” well he didn’t. And after many weeks of calling and not getting a response from Frank gay we FINALLY got someone back out and what did he say? “Oh you might have a pipe issue” so these people charged us $1600 WHEN THEY DIDN’T EVEN CHECK EVERYTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! Would not recommend to ANYONE

We are retracting what we wrote this morning. We got a call from Frank Gay's office, customer service within 3 hours of leaving the post. They asked how they could fix it and make it better. We gave them two points that they needed to do with their business and one for us. Within an hour and 45 minutes later we received a call stating that they are going to fix the two problems with the company and the one for us.Like I said in the beginning of my first statement the workers did a very good job. we are pleased with their work and please with company fixing the three problems that we had with the company. These fixes will help customers in the future!!!

We were recommended by a friend to call Frank Gay Services for an electrician on Monday night, 06/28. Our appt. was made between 10 AM to 2 PM on Tuesday, 06/29. We got a call & text from Josh F., the technician, that he'll be here within a half an hour after 12 PM. We were so happy that he's on his way! After he arrived, he's definitely ready to help us with the short voltages wiring issues on our dryer outlet plug socket in the wall. He narrowed down the issues toward the circuit breaker box panel and discovered the bad 30 AMP breaker needed to be replaced. Now, our dryer is working with heat! Plus, he also repaired some no AC/DC outlet plug units in two bathrooms, dining room, carport and back porch too! We were very please on how well he professionally explained the details about repairing, replacement and upgrading the 37 years old circuit breaker box to be safe in the future. We highly recommended him to do more servicing for us next time! :-)

Had a tech come out for a backed up toile on a Friday. $800 dollars for him to go on our roof and snake the clog. Couldnt do it then told us he got his equipment stuck so they’d have to build a drain Pipe for our house to fix the issue. Our house already has a drain, but the tech couldn’t find it so he said they’d have to build one. We paid another $200 to set an appointment up for Monday. Saturday morning we found the location of our drain which always existed. Called the tech to let them know we needed someone out to our property asap as now our entire house was flooding and that we no longer needed to install a drain because we found it. Tech said Saturdays are for emergencies only. I think your entire house been flooded with sewage water qualifies as an emergency especially when they already came out, received payment did not fix the issue.I called customer service to request they come in today or to give me a refund and the rep said they would “let me know about getting a refund” and then hung up on me. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

I spoke to a very sweet lady when booking the appointment. She was able to get me an appointment the same day so I did not have to suffer the Florida heat. Christopher M., was kind and professional. He was working his tale off to clean the AC unit outside. Frank Gay also gives options and quotes that are reasonable and easy to understand. Super pleased.

Jesse was an awesome tech who came out to install my water heater after determining that it was not beneficial to repair it in which I agreed. From start to finish, everybody has been very helpful with my service call. When I made the appointment, the gentleman walked me through all the steps and made it feel simple and smooth. Roy Ruiz was the technician who came out and he was amazing! He was courteous and prompt, knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time not only to look thoroughly at my AC, but to also explain the issues to me in a way that I can understand, since I have very little AC experience or knowledge. Had them come out to assess our issue. They said they identified the issue quickly, however the technician stated they could be out the very next day to repair so we agreed and signed for the work to be done. The technician leaves, we then speak to the scheduler who then tells us they can’t do anything for 5 days. Now five days later, we have received no calls, no texts, no response as to when they will be coming.Still have zero idea of when the issue will be fixed.

Very pleased with Josh at Frank Gay. He was professional, knowledgeable, timely, and courteous. He quickly evaluated the problem, gave us alternatives, and proceeded to fully repair the issue. First time using Frank Gay, but will not be the last. Service was responsive, quick, and spot-on.

Top notch service! Cameron O. is the man!I called Frank Gay on a Sunday at 2 pm to help with a water valve replacement after I tried to remove the old one myself only for the old cpvc pipe to crack. Cameron was at my house by 3 pm, and he was done by 3:45. The repair itself took him maybe 20 mins. The rest of the time was him assessing the damage and then waiting for the glue to dry to ensure there were no leaks. He was professional, efficient, highly skilled, and happily answered all of the plumbing questions I was peppering him with. I’ll definitely call Frank Gay again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The technician arrived promptly and quoted $189 to repair. After I agreed he told me that he can not repair it but still charged me the $189. Totally unacceptable and I feel ripped off

Misdiagnosed my problem and wanted to sell me an entirely new system. According to the tech, a bug fried my control board and it would be $1300 but they couldn't get the part right away because of supply issues. He suggested it would be better to just pay $13,000 for a new system! If a bug fried my control board then there was nothing wrong with my system.I called another company and it's my fan motor.I'm still waiting for a refund of my $149 maintenance plan that I do not want, because they are not coming anywhere near my a/c again.

Randhal Was great! He walked me through the installation and how long it would take to do the job. Cleaned up and made sure everything was done.

Our tech Javier Guerreiro was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. He took his time to diagnose the issue. He was very helpful and offered plenty of options that were best for us. He answered all our questions and never made us feel pressured into getting someter didn’t want. We signed up for the family plan and will definitely request to have him back. Quick and professional repair! Very insightful for future projects with no pressure.Edit: had electrical work totalling close to 9k. From the time of work beginning to ending ive had a fridge fire, A/C circuit board fried, docking station to a wetvac fried, ruined modem/router and have been left in 90 degree weather with no updates! Avoid at all cost!Edit: on the 1st of September Frank Gay made contact and has fully repaired all damages and will monetarily compensate for damages.

The price and unnecessary up-sells on a new A/C unit come out to DOUBLE the cost elsewhere. After the sticker shock from what a basic 2-ton a/c unit costs, I compared to other companies. Frank Gay Services sells you what the manufacturers are required by law to provide. This company is slick, so BEWARE!

Our team, Alexis, Javier F. and Richard were fabulous. They were on time, very informative, clean, and courteous. They explained the process as they were replacing our handler and outside unit.

Cameron was very professional. He called when he was on his way and was even a few minutes earlier than the scheduled appointment where he quickly ruled out a plumbing leak. Due to my unique situation he went and called other colleagues to see if they had dealt with similar circumstances, came back and took time to go over my options, leaving me with peace of mind.

I had an outside GFI outlet that needed to be replaced. The technician came out and said I needed a lot more than that replaced and it would cost $775. After going back and forth with him he “talked” to his supervisor and said they could do it for $277. I hate to see how many older people may have been taken advantage by these tactics. I think this is BS and still haven’t received a paid invoice for my service.

Castro did a very detailed AC maintenance with a bunch of pictures provided. I highly recommend Frank Gay!! The family maintenance plan is a very good value.

I was having air quality issues with my AC duct system blowing fibrous duct board material into my home. Three different companies came to diagnose our issues, and they all gave a lot of information about materials used in ACs and things that go wrong. However, it wasn't until we found Frank Gay Services that we got a prompt and professional appointment going. Julio Guzman and Louis were our technicians working on an extensive project for a completely new ductLESS AC. This was my first time installing a brand new system completely different than all the other units in my condo community. Julio and Louis were extremely knowledgeable, and skilled. They answered all my questions I had along the way. They stayed late to make sure all parts were completed and done right. I will continue to be a loyal customer for any AC, plumbing, and electrical needs. I can't recommend them enough. I am so happy I found Frank Gay services, and that Julio Guzman and Louis were our technicians. (the last photo is the old AC duct that we replaced).

From the first technician Mike who came out on a Saturday to check out our broken AC, he went above and beyond trying to fix the problem but we ended up needing to replace the system. He walked us through everything and answered all the questions my husband and I had. The install was scheduled for the next day, Sunday. The techs who came out to install the new unit were professional, friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. They were respectful of our home and took care not to damage anything. They cleaned up any mess created during the installation. We will be recommended them to anyone who asks and will be using them in the future if the needed.

All I wanted was to replace a toilet seat because the hinge broke. The cost ended up to be $298 which included inspection services I didn't want. In addition, there was an autorenewal clause so they can charge me every year even if I don't use their services. I never saw the contract before signing the documents. The service technician never told me what I was signing. He just said I had to sign in order to get the seat replacement. Obviously I should have gone to Home Depot.

Install done on June 10 2022.Started off as 5 stars because the work was fast and friendly. However, they had to cut into my drywall to install new ac unit and didn't have a new wall cover. One month later I still have a huge hole in my wall.UPDATE: Called yet again about 2 weeks ago. Once again they said someone will call me back. A week later someone ACTUALLY DID call me back, only to tell me someone else will call me back. $13,000 and this is what you get.NEW UPDATE: Well, they fixed the hole in the wall, but they failed inspection TWICE!New update, almost a year and never got a final inspection approval after 3 fails. Plus I scheduled a prepaid maintenance visit but the service guy never showed. Oh they text you a Pic of the guy coming from various numbers and apparently the guy they scheduled to to come has 2 different names but with the same profile pic

Blaine listened to what I wanted to accomplish with the installation of my shower. He was courteous, extremely competent, friendly and very professional. He tested his installation and made sure I was 100% completely satisfied with the installation. I had an excellent experience !

If I could give 0 stars, I would.I had a sink/water pipe issue, they sent me a technician who handles toilet issues. They charged me $40 an assessment fees just for me explaining what kind of problem I have. There was no assessment. If you would want to have a technician to look at your problem you had to pay much more. I really don’t understand what for I paid $40.

Louis was an excellent worker and very friendly. He explained everything well as he was doing the job.

Kenneth Thomas and Raul Rodrigues installed our AC unit today and worked hard getting it put in and working. They had to make a couple of trips back to the shop for items they were not aware that they would need in order to get the unit completely installed. I was very impressed with their dedication in getting our air on so we weren’t getting to hot.

Our technician, Glen Bell, was very professional and his experience and training were very evident. He diagnosed several issues with our existing system and clearly and simply described what our options and costs would be to fix the problems. He was quick, efficient, and very friendly. Be sure to ask for Glen.

New air conditioner installation at my home. At the time of the signing of the contract to do work, a verbal promise was made that we would be provided a detailed receipt. After work was completed, we got a receipt that had one line item - the total of the whole job. No manufacturer, no model number, and certainly no serial number. I asked them again to provide what they had promised and they said that we purchased an economy package and that they won't provide us with this information. I have registered a complaint with the BBB and suggest others do the same if they have issues. My whole point is that if I have to provide proof of purchase to another service company =since I will absolutely NOT be using Frank Gay Services ever again), what does a piece of paper from them claiming to be a receipt and has a single entry for the whole job total mean to anyone outside of Frank Gay Services? Furthermore, they continue to battle the complaint to the BBB when they could have sent a the itemized receipt as requested. They keep pushing back and refuse to provide us with this pertinent piece of information on a $10k purchase. I can't discourage people enough from using their services. Stay away from them if you value good customer service after they have your money. Absolutely abysmal customer service practices.Update 4/30/2023Because I have posted there reviews about my negative experiences with Frank Gay Services, I have now received an email that threatens at defamation and harassment law suit. They also threaten to void the labor warranty on the A/C, despite this being a term of their contact for which they would be in material breach. I am being 100% truthful about my review and stand by the facts. All we wanted was an itemized receipt and we've gotten to the point that they want to threaten legal action. This is further evidence of very poor customer service.

We replaced our entire AC with Frank Gay and they managed to finish the entire project in about 6 hours or so. Our tenant wasn't inconvenienced, and when she returned home, the house was nice and cool.

Absolute worst! House repipe completed on 2/14. City not notified for inspection for over a week. Inspection not completed for a month. Found workers in closet playing on cell phones. Needed more workers to come out to complete repipe because it would not pass inspection.We have wanted to speak to a manager 4 different times and yet no one responded. The mess and drywall repair is horrible and they broke my dryer vent and didn’t divulge that information so dryer lent went everywhere in laundry room. It has been the worst experience from a company that prides themselves on experience that I have ever come across. No more! Who’s gonna fix my house? We have spent almost $9,000 on these repairs and it looks like a $4.99 job! Absolutely disgusting!!! I have many more but here is 2

Shaquille Smith saved us! We had a nest thermostat improperly installed by a Frank Gay representative which led us to not have any air in our home for 4 days… in the middle of August. I was upset because my house was 89 degrees and we couldn’t stay here. They scheduled me with Shaquille to fix the problem. He came out, was on time, super kind and funny, and helped us in less than an hour. He’s super knowledgeable about the system and knew what the problem was immediately. We now have cool air and can enjoy our home again. I wish he could come out and help me with all my problems. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Shaquille!

Unhappy with this service. They charged me over $300 for toilet auger service for a plumbing issue. This DOES NOT come with any guarantees in the work. The toilet is not working once again after a little over a month. I called in to ask if there was anything they could do after I spent $300 and they said it came with no guarantees on the labor. I am working with another company that is charging me about the same but with a 3-month guarantee. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Go with a company with a guarantee on all their work.

We have used Frank Gay for our hot water heater, plumbing issues in our house and now electrical needs are being met. We are pleased with the quality of their work. Angel and Ron were very professional and did their work with the quality that we have come to expect with Frank Gay Services. Hopefully, our house is good to go for awhile but, if we need service Frank Gay is who we’ll call.

My technician was Frank Hefner. He was courteous, nice and very professional. He removed a dishwasher for me and gave me a FANTASTIC price. He also told me about the family plan that Frank Gay Services offers, which I didn't know about. Turns out it will work perfectly for me! I am so happy with the service provided to me today. The technician was able to assess the exigent issue under my house. The leaky valve was replaced - and I have to add - being underneath a manufactured home - in the summer - in wet sand - is no easy job. I strongly recommend Frank Gay

Have used co. for years. New AC installed 1 year ago. A bit pricey, but l terrific service, until today. AC went out for 3rd or 4th time this year. Asked to speak supervisor who called back, apparently from outsourced Co, Totally uncooperative, belligerent, claiming he felt it was an issue not covered by warranty. Tech did come out, (he was wonderful) fixed the problem,--apparently last tech did not properly secure a component, and AC is running fine now. But not sure if I will use FG again if I have to deal with uncooperative outsourced companies

Juan was very kind and professional. He knew exactly what to look for when my AC wasn’t working. He was honest and told me it was an easy fix- my condensation pipe needed to be cleared out. I knew that was the issue and I’m so glad he was honest about it and fixed it quickly! I wasn’t pushed to purchase anything unnecessary. Because of that I will continue to use this company as I value honesty and efficiency.

Diane was attentive over the phone and had great follow-up. The 1st plumber sent was understanding although late and unable to complete what was needed. Another one was ordered, then a 3rd. I couldn't wait any longer and called to cancel. The 3rd, very nice gentleman showed up as I was getting ready to leave. He reviewed the issue quickly and said he'd send a quote. The quote was astronomical for my budget and my insurance wouldn't cover any of it. We're talking $20K+! I was despondent until a friend recommended a handyman who was able to fix the issue at hand (a detached shower drain pipe) without tearing anything apart or re-plumbing the entire bathroom (manufactured home) for a couple of hundred bucks. I am still grateful to Diane for her graciousness and the first plumber (sorry, forgot his name) for identifying other issues that my new handyman may fix in the future.

I wish I could give Keith Robinson a 6 out of 5 stars! He kept us informed all the way and what our options were. He took us visually via camera down our system to show us where the clog was but also just so we could see the status of our pipes. I now feel like I really know my sewer system after living here for 10 years!

Overall experience is probably 2 stars.Pros: decent system at a fair price. The last technician was the only one that really knew what he was doing and finally fixed the system to allow best performance of new AC system.Cons: it took multiple appointments that had us sitting home waiting for someone to come out and address issues after initial install. Almost every appointment was off by 2 hours or more! One complete no show and one that canceled 30 minutes after start of appointment window. David Munoz was who sold us the system and he definitely gave a hard sell with lots of promises. When you’ve been without AC for 2 days you kind of over look the red flags! After his sales pitch he was pretty much MIA! The installers were super polite and showed on time. Unfortunately they expected to start work when we still hasn’t received a signed contract that spelled out everything David promised. I insisted on one before they started work. Unfortunately the one I finally received didn’t address all of the “promises”. We had issues from the beginning. We were promised it would be more efficient than our old system. From the onset it was not. The communication between the office, techs and us was pitiful. Right hand never seemed to know what the left hand was doing. David went completely MIA and did not answer calls or texts. My husband is very technical and so is our very good friend that sold his successful AC company when he retired. (He also taught at tech school before moving to Florida) first couple of techs couldn’t answer specific questions when asked. Their answers made no sense!! Others may not have realized the system wasn’t performing as well as it should because it did “blow cold”. As we were told by one guy. Finally they sent out someone that knew his stuff! He was able to answer all our questions with knowledge of the system. He was able to do the tests we had requested and he knew exactly what was wrong! One whole week wasted by the previous technicians. As our friend stated all along that our lines were longer than normal and they did not fill the refrigerant 410A enough to account for those extra few feet. Once that was done it appears to be working as intended. That should not have taken a week and several appointments.On a side note we had contacted Frank Gay because of excellent reviews only to find out that that company had been sold to Best Home services. We only found that out when the contract I had requested was came from Best Home Services!

David from Frank Gay Residential Services was amazing! He responded to my call for emergency A/C repair within minutes. He was kind and courteous and gave us all of the facts so that we could make an educated decision about our A/C repair. He was not pushy or rude. We could not have been happier with his service.

Sorry to say I have had a terrible experience with Frank Gay. The AC system they installed has failed 4 times in the last nine years. Each time the blower motor needs to be replaced. The price they quoted me for repair this last time was astronomically high. I was able to get it fixed from a nearby company for about 25% of what Frank Gay was charging. And, they were trying to sell products that weren’t needed and wouldn’t resolve my issue.

Frank Gay quote was 3 times higher than 2 other companies for an AC repair. They claim this is because they have product stocked. Is that worth you paying 3 times more for the service? Be a smart shopper and help stop over pricing like this. It is not fair.

They advertise they are available 24/7 but untrue. I sent an email on Thursday night, and left voicemail on Friday morning but got no answer until Saturday night. My husband also contacted them on Friday morning and did not receive a call back until Saturday afternoon. He got a reply before I did and I reached out first!!!!! I completely understand it is hot in Fl, but a call back to let us know it would be several days for them to come out would have been great. How can you live in the Fl heat for more than 2 days? Do not recommend!

Beware of this company. We had them come out to fix a simple bathtub faucet. They caused a leak that flooded my walls and floor and are now refusing to accept responsibility. Very simple - no leak before, yes leak after. Have the decency to fix your mistakes. We paid top dollar for your service and are extremely disappointed.

Drain was backed up. Carlos called on his way and pretty much diagnosed issue over phone. He thoroughly investigated once here and confirmed. Offered several solutions. He explained the drawbacks and benefits of each. He was able to complete the work in just a few hours and I was happy with the work done. Man came over for a leaky toilet. Charged me 590 more then double what I was quoted from another company. Made me switch the water off myself, and I ended up doing a good chunk of the work. Paid 390 for a “toilet reset” where he picked up the toilet and told me I did the job myself. Now my bathroom still smells like sewer water…this place stinks (litterally)

I have my house repipe by Sean S and Chris. I must say I am very impressed.very professional, hard working, polite, very friendly and very experienced. I am very pleased with the job they perform. They clean up as they go along and that's a plus.it was a difficult task but they got it done in a timely manner and they explained everything to me what they were doing. Sean and Chris keep up the good work. As for the young man that did my drywall you are very messy, you did not lay a drop cloth when you were working, you leave nothing but mess on my floor now am going have to scrape this mess that hard up on my floor.for future reference wear a shoe cover when you are working my bathroom rug is messed up by your shoes. You also need to perform neater job in the future. Thank you again Sean and Chris for a job well done.

I called Frank Gay Services for AC repair and the technician, Donovan, arrived on time, diagnosed and repaired my problem in under 30 minutes and my AC is working perfectly. The cost was far below what I expected and they offer a very affordable monthly maintenance plan.The technicians notify you via text before arrival and they are fully masked and compliant for anyone with Covid concerns.Overall, can honestly say it was one of the most professional and effective services I've used in awhile so I would highly recommend them for AC repair. I haven't used them for plumbing yet but have scheduled a free inspection.Thanks again to Donovan for getting our AC back up and running in a timely fashion!!

This is the most horrible experience I have had with a company. If I could rate them negative stars I would. I hired them because I had seen many commercials and advertisements. I only wanted my air ducts to be cleaned. The first time they came to clean the ducts, the maintenance guy, Ben Ortiz said it could not be cleaned because my breaker was broken. Everything was working fine before so I have nothing else to think but he broke it. After him, other technicians came and said that it was the circuit breaker that was causing problems. This wasn't true. Then, on a Monday, Carlos came to fix it but he didn't even have the circuit breaker so he then went and ordered it. While he was trying to install a new breaker, there were sparks of fire. He stopped and said that it was actually the box that needed to be replaced. He then replaced it and tried again but sparks of fire again. After that, he said that it was an electrical problem. But everything was working so I didn't understand this. He was also fixing the thermostat but ended up turning off my heat. By checking and checking, he finally realized that it was my compressor not working. So then, he tried to sell me a whole new unit for $10,300. I requested for a senior technician, David Muniz, and he was the only person I felt was an actual technician. He fixed my heat but was still trying to sell me an A/C unit. Overall, the so-called technicians that came kept misdiagnosing the actual problem when all I wanted was my air ducts to be cleaned. I do not at all recommend this company. They broke the stuff in my house just to make money. Never again.

Called Frank Gay around 8:00 am for a semi- emergency regarding my leaking air handler. Their serviceman was out there a little after 10. Quickly diagnosed the problems, got quote together and went to work. Knocked it out in maybe 90 minutes. Super professional, polite and organized. Very impressed.

Roy was very friendly and courteous. He was respectful of our home. He asked all the right questions and took care of our needs.

Tech named Roy came out for an emergency service of a PVC pipe that was causing issues on my AC unit. He was fast and very helpful. Was able to get the issue resolved quickly and even had the parts with him in his truck. Roy is a great tech who cared more about resolving the issue than trying to make money off of me. Grateful for the quality service he provided.

The communication was excellent. Received written confirmation of my appointment immediately. Received a call and text the day of service when they were on their way and who was coming. Arrived on time and they were very professional and polite! I would definitely recommend!

I have used Frank Gay for plumbing before and they were reasonably priced. I had to replace a tub/shower faucet and they charged me $350 for the work with a $30 part and half-hour of work and wanted to charge me $1000 to replace the valve which I might have done except for the price. The tech was very nice and did good work but the prices were outrageous. I had used them to replace two fan switches and the price was reasonable at $75 a piece so this was a shock to me.

Awful experience. Sales pitch was pushed. Plumber cut large holes in my wall just to replace valves then wanted me to pay his sheetrock guy. The pipe he put in my laundry was in the walkway till l made him change it. Don't use them

Devin was my technician and he was absolutely wonderful! The window of arrival was between 12pm-4pm and he got here at exactly noon. I showed him what was going on with our shower leaking, he explained everything to me and my family regarding what needed to be fixed and potential challenges in the future because we live in a very old building. The quote was extremely high, but after finding a solution within our budget, Devin was flexible and fixed it within two hours including drive time to get the parts needed. I made an appointment for service call they charge u upfront and then they won’t tell u that. The technician has additional charges just to come they won’t tell you that plus parts. This company is TRICKY ! DONT HIRE … also they quote a new AC system ranges from 12k -23k …. Well guess what I have the other company give me the new AC system Carrier brand for 5k only …. Pls don’t waste your time contacting this company … STAY AWAY! SAVE yourself from being RIP OFF and aggravation

Roy was very nice and walked us through the entire process. I was left waiting a little while longer than expected for the installers to arrive. I was told expected between 8-9 but they did not arrive till about 11.The installation went great and the new unit is up and running.

Been gone for 3 months, got home it was 97° out/ 91° in the house and the AC is not cooling. Called Frank Gay Services (they'd done great on plumbing 3 months ago) sent Roy out next day. He checked the system over and gave us the bad news. Copper coils had rusted and had pin holes in them 😳🤣. He gave us several options since my unit was 12 years old so we elected to replace the system. He scheduled installation for the next morning. Roy was very efficient and professional. Kalvin Romero and Luis came out promptly this morning and got right to work. They were highly professional, very polite and courteous. Very knowledgeable about their job, answered all of our questions and explained the new system throughly. They worked well together. We didn't have to watch them, they never took a break. Their concern was that we got our AC working and making 2 old ladies comfortable and happy. You need to give them a raise for working in this heat and doing it with a smile 😃. Wish I could take them home to GA to put in my new AC. They even cleaned up and left everything cleaner than when they got here. I posted a review 8 months ago and someone altered the review I posted. When I looked at my review, google said it was altered. I have used them for 10 years but they unfairly charged me for correcting a problem they created. They wanted to charge $300 to tighten a bolt on a sink faucet that they installed a few months earlier.I recommended them to my neighbor to install 2 light pendants and they tried to overcharge. She had another company do the work for half the price.Their prices have gone through the roof!I posted a review on Yelp and their response was “our service manager is here to assist you “You could have helped my not charging me for tightening that bolt that you installed earlier.I already called their manager to complain. She said they changed their prices to reflect national averages.How about charging FAIR prices for 10 years long customers?I’ve used them at my home and office building for 10 years but something has changed last year.Be prepared to pay twice as much as other companies are charging and pray they get it right the first time, otherwise they will charge to fix their screwup.Check the Yelp reviews, they aren’t that great.

Kerwen Hutcheson (technician) and representative Deem (phone representative) were professional and helpful. They both gave great customer service! I will def be going through them for all my plumbing needs like washer/dryer setup amongst other things as needed. And they gave prompt same day service.

I can’t recommend Frank Gay services enough. Customer service was absolutely exceptional. I called on a Saturday evening and they were able to get a technician out almost immediately. Saving my household from the absolute nightmare of having already waited 7 days for our property management to come and fix our water heater to no avail. Our technician drove an hour and a half late Saturday evening and was very kind, compassionate and professional. I received text message, email and phone call updates all along the way. Seriously, if ever need any emergency plumbing services, Frank Gay is the way to go.

A/C issues are frustrating. So many times issues are diagnosed incorrectly and issues continue, meanwhile having multiple service calls. This time our A/C stopped working on a fairly new unit and I decided to call out a different service from the group that installed and services our unit. Nicolas was fantastic. He discovered an issue that multiple others had missed and taught me some things along the way. I will definitely be calling on him in the future when I have issues!
