When you have a septic issue, you can't wait... for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, every company I called to fix our septic issue told us it would be a week or even more before they could come out. Donahue told me that, too, EXCEPT the gentleman who answered the phone then proceeded to ask me questions about the problem to see if he could diagnose it and suggest a way I could fix it myself. He asked questions, he demanded clear answers, then offered to guide me, step by step, through a process he thought would solve the problem. In other words, instead of having me wait a week and then charging me hundreds of dollars to come out and offer a basic service, he basically told me how I could fix the problem myself. Now, I won't say it was the most pleasant afternoon I ever spent, because, well, septic, hello?, but he was exactly correct in his diagnosis and did successfully tell me how to fix what turned out to be a minor problem- over the phone, without charging me anything.
