Called this company for an inspection after having rat exclusion services performed by our regular exterminator, they came same day, and Hunter did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable, professional and very honest. While we aren’t using them for further extermination services, we will call them in the future should we need to!

We had a Rattlesnake in our garage and Isaiah came out very quickly to remove it!!! The service Critter Control provides is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend them for all your critter needs!!!

Very knowledgeable young man was sent to preform gopher removal from our property. He did a splendid and through job. He didn't rush; took his time to ensure he got all the gophers.
And assured us that he would follow up incase the gophers return.

They come and place traps on a bad location, supposed to have food and water inside but there’s non. It supposed to be three weeks and they only come one time to remove one bird and now they abandoned the traps, it’s been close to three months and they have not comeback to pick up their empty traps. Charged me over a thousand dollars for cutting one bird. it is a scam. They better not come up with charging more money for leaving those empty traps on my roof. Found them online and never gave me a paper to call them or anything.

Overall ok experience. For the value of the service we got versus the money we spent not so good. Had to call constantly to find out when the technician was coming out and kept getting different answers. Would have not got all the services promised if did not call to remind them. Ray the technician did a great job. Overall grade C.

They failed to follow through with their service commitment. We were charged nearly $1000 to set two traps for a ground squire. They committed to coming by daily to check traps and service as needed. WE have not seen them since the first meeting and they have not returned calls when I reach out. This has been a huge waste of time.

Critter Control came out to get rid of a rodent infestation we had in our attic and wall. Their price was good and they removed the rodents quickly. Very professional and I highly recommend their service.

Leo has been an amazing help throughout the process. Other than that, we had to contact the district manager to get any information because no one else seems to know how to communicate.

Called for an appointment on Wednesday. A representative arrived on Thursday for the initial assessment. Required work was completed on Friday, and traps set. Have seen positive results several times since then.

Moving into a new build with open fields close by caused a rodent issue in my garage. Critter Control came out quickly and took care of the issue. I highly recommend Critter Control!

We used Critter Control at our previous home so we asked for a home inspection for our newly purchased home. Their Inspectors were efficient and thorough. They reviewed the potential problem areas of our home. Their Service Technician was prompt and worked into the evening to secure the at risk spots in our home. They are very professional, communicate promptly and did an outstanding job. We highly recommend them for controlling unwanted critters on our property.

First off, this place charges RIDICULOUS fees for not much work done. And their sales guy Scott did a terrible job going over the contract. I was under the impression the total charge was $1500. Turns out he didn’t even show me the other half of the charge so I get hit with another $1400 for “initial services”. These guys hardly did anything. They setup a trap, caught a baby bobcat, put it back then the bobcats left on their own. THEN they decided to just ignore me for 3 weeks and left the traps on the roof and never repaired the damage. So I had to call them multiple times to get them to come back out and finish the job that I over paid for. This has been a terrible experience and I WOULD NOT recommend their services at all to anyone. What a rip off.

The manager Isaiah called me and was very understanding about that $1500 charge that showed up on my credit card and he refunded it without any arguing and he was very professional during the call. Because of this I increased my rating from a 1 start to 3. I appreciate and recognize honesty and understanding, thank you Isaiah!

They were supposed to remove skunks and other critters or rabbits digging under my house destroying my venting for my air-conditioning under the house they removed the skunks , dug a trench all around my house put wire mesh that was to keep the critters out, put a one way trap door which the door was never done clean and disinfect under the house which was not done. The dirt put back after trenching is pulling away from the sidewalk where they dug the trenches the dug up my water line didn't put it back. I have called and texted them about the problems and no reply. I wouldn't recommend them to any of my family or friends. They charge outrageous fees for not very good work. Over $5100.00 the wire mesh was to low and the critters are digging and getting back under the house so I can't get my venting fixed to cool my house. It's 84 degrees in here with the high Temps outside.

Office staff was efficient and we made an appointment for Wednesday May 11th with a 4-6pm window. aT 3:50 PM, Scott calls me and says is it ok if we rescheduled because he is on the other side of town and won't get here till after 6 PM? I said no problem and we rescheduled for Friday May 13th from 8am-10am. I told him I would need to be 1st stop because we had other things scheduled and he said no problem. at 9:50 am he wasnt here so I called his cell that he called me from on Wednesday, and it went to VM and I left a message. Didn't even have the courtesy to return the call and of course never showed up. When I called the office to tell them what happened, they apologized nd said someone would call me Monday...still waiting for that call. Do yourself a favor and find a better company that actually responds, returns calls and cares about customers!!!!

Pros: They did end up fixing the roof rat problem on the first try. The technician climbed into my narrow attic and sealed a compromised screen where the rats where coming in. I used a different pest control company previously for like two visits and they probably would have missed that tiny hard to reach torn screen in the attic vent or took longer to find it.

Cons: Good luck getting them to follow up on billing and additional work. The contract said they would fill up the all the gable holes but they only covered the ones that were compromised. It took like over a month of me constantly calling them for them to fill the remaining gable holes.

The contract i signed was also a had a monthly fee of $99. I told the technician I didn't want a recurring service and he said they won't bill, but their system automatically bills you monthly. I had to call in to get my card removed. I called several times (over a span of 3 weeks) to get the monthly fee removed and they said they would remove it, but it never came through. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Conclusion: Just hope they get the contract right the first time as their customer service is horrible. You have to call in to actually get the monthly service removed if you want opt-out. They're expensive but seem to be the only company that specializes in roof rats. Next time i would have just used a general pest control company and make sure they're willing to inspect hard to reach areas of the house/attic.

well they were there to trap racoons nesting under our shed, they trapped 2 squirrels, one died of fright, and 2 cats, no squirrels and we paid $698.00, won't do that again

Just started. So far service is impressive. Hopeful this service will take care of the issue. Pack rats have been devouring my outdoor furniture cushions.

The technician, Ray, did a great job. Ended up having a quail get stuck in a wall, and he was able to safely remove and release it, as well as seal up the hole where it had gotten into the attic.

They did a poor exclusion process which was supposed to block any entrances for the rodents. The technicians did half of what was in the proposal, they put poison next to the traps, meaning they did not bait the traps. And they did some kind of disinfectant in my attic while the mouse was still in the house. I realized later this was a $600 disinfectant that was useless; first because it's in the Attic, second because the mouse was still here. I had a regional manager come look at this. He claimed he would look into my account for refunds and I'm still waiting for the refund 2 months later, no technician has been to my house to rebate check the traps or finish the job in over 2 months.

Please do not allow this company to take advantage of you!
Full disclosure: I did sign a contract for the trapping and relocation of a racoon that had been visiting my yard and leaving souvenirs. The price was much higher than anyone else because of their supposed quality service. The serviceman came out and sprayed around the trapping area to get rid of human scent. He then set out two traps with a can of cat food in each as the bait with the promise to return every couple of days to check and renew the bait. Didn't happen as promised After seeing him once more in the next two weeks, I called and left a message to have the trap removed. Had to leave a message since most of my calls were not picked up. I spoke with the salesman and told him I didn't feel I should have to pay the remaining amount. Don't worry, I'll take care of it We never had a visit from the racoon so not trapped or relocated. When the traps were removed, I was immediately charged on my credit card for the remaining $989 of the $1489 I had agreed to (my wife is deathly afraid of these rodents so happy wife, happy life. I never heard back from Critter Control even after leaving several messages to try and have a conversation about this. I was unable to resolve through the credit card company because of the signed contract which was the only response they got. So, save your money and just lay out some cinnamon and chili powder to get rid of racoons. It works better than this company

EDIT: Increased to 2 stars. After a few months, was eventually able to get a manager over to the property who was able to find some failures in the initial exclusion work that was done. That was rectified fairly quickly, and worked! The rat problem was finally taken care of, and they haven't been back for months. Still very expensive for the quality of service. Would recommend searching elsewhere

It is almost unspeakable how poor my interaction has been with this company. To start, their prices are astronomical. If you think you are paying a premium for a quality service like I did, think again.

I utilized there services for roof rat exclusion, baiting, and trapping. First they charged $1000 over the signed contract price and took 3 weeks of phone calls to reverse the charges. Next, they have a supposed contractual guarantee to do more work if their services do not exclude the rats from the attic. I am now two months into their initial work with just as much rat activity as ever. However, what's changed is that I cannot actually get someone out to do more work. For weeks I've been passed around from agent to agent and mostly ignored.

The level of unprofessional behavior combined with their costs are borderline criminal. I'm just trying to decide if I should eat my costs and move on to a company that will actually do the work, continue trying to work with this company in futility, or see if there is a legal avenue to compel them to uphold the contract.

I beg whoever reads this to please believe the 1-star reviews on here. Don't find yourself in the same position as me.

Regular exterminator suggested I call their business partner for numerous burrowed holes in our front, side and backyards. Critter Control was very responsive. Preliminary inspection was held the next day and my home was treated the very NEXT DAY!! Two week follow-up and monthly treatments to follow. Each representative took their time to express concerns. I was not pressured for unnecessary “up-sale” services we did not need. We feel we received great service at a fair price. Thanks Jon for taking care of us!!

We contacted Critter Control when we discovered that we had rats in the bushes up in the hillside in the back of our property. It was driving our dog crazy trying to chase them down and it posed danger to him as there were rocks that could move under his weight. Since we started with them we now have almost 0 rat activity. We are continuing the service so that the problem doesn’t re-emerge! I strongly recommend them!

Called to book an estimate. The technician never showed up for the appointment. When I called to follow-up, I was patched through to a woman who had one goal, to get me off the phone. She opened the conversation saying there was nothing she could do. She showed no empathy, sympathy, or compassion. Her excuse is that she is taking calls from across the country but she would forward my message. First of all, that’s the job not a valid excuse to not assist. I asked to speak to a supervisor at which point she proceed to speak loudly over me. I tone matched and asked her not to speak over me at which point she hung up. Not a good experience. Why have a call center with no solutions to offer and horrible people on the other end? Set up a voicemail and call it a day.

Chris did a terrific job at our house. He spent time evaluating the outside of the entire house and found several entry points for the pack rats and mice. Once a week over the next month he trapped the pack rats in the ceiling, and sealed the entry points on the outside of the house. The last day he removed the two big middens from the back yard. It's been a month and we couldn't be more satisfied. Chris was professional, on time, knowledgeable, and a hard worker.

Highly recommend this company. Technician Ray went far beyond expectations. John the appraiser and Ray the technician were outstanding; they were compassionate, caring, and understanding. Ray went out of his way
and was responsive and acted quickly to resolve the issue. Will definitely use

With a dead skunk in my yard I needed someone responsive. He called within 1 minute of my call to Wildlife Rescue at 8pm. He came out early the next morning before the heat and took care of it. He was also friendly and professional. I only put 4 stars because, wow, the cost.

Heard scratching noises in my attic at night and was afraid of what might be up there. After calling, I was told Chris would be able to come out in the morning. He came on time and was very professional. After inspecting the attic he told me that there were some signs mice. We sat down and he told me the different options that they had and not once did he pressure me into anything I didn't want. We agreed to a plan. Chris set the traps and came back once a week to check the traps and seal any point of entry they could come in from. After a few weeks, (and a couple of mice later) it was determined they were gone. It is now over a year later and all is still well. Chris did an amazing job.

Jarrett came on intended day and time. He was very professional and thorough. He spent well over an hour inspecting our house for critter entry points. This included him going into the attic and on the roof. They sent us pictures of all areas of concern. There was no charge for this detailed inspection.

Our on-site wildlife control expert, Kelly, was completely impressive from start to finish. She was fantastic at explaining our wildlife control problem based on a careful and thorough inspection of our property. She provided us with a variety of treatment options and patiently explained the pros and cons of each approach. Once we had reached a decision on the options that were best for us, Kelly immediately went to work to deliver the first treatment. She also gave us valuable information on follow-up preventative steps we could take on our own, in between planned treatments. Kelly was prompt, thorough, professional, friendly, sympathetic, and a great advocate for our needs. We highly recommend Kelly and look forward to working with her in the future!

After seeing a rather large roof rat climb up my stucco I called my pest control company and was referred to Critter Control. This was the third time we had seen one. They sent a representative, Tyler the same day. Tyler educated me on the habits of roof rats, their likes and dislikes etc. Although there was not evidence of them in our attic we decided to have him go through and block the ways they could get in. While living in So California we knew neighbors that had terrible problems with them in the attic. I really would rather prevent a problem than have to deal with a disaster. If You have any problems, please give them a call. Believe me, they won’t go away on their own!

I had the nastiest critter in my living room and I couldn’t get it out of my house for anything. I called these folks and they took her away once and for all and I never have to hear her complaining ever again. The dog and I are so much happier without her nagging us all the time. Our house is at peace and we’re critter free!

Had someone come out and block all the places where the rats were coming in on the roof. They did a fantastic job, would highly recommend them.

Critter Control is a Rip-Off!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!

First of all, I researched the best critter control company in Arizona for a few days and decided upon Blue Sky Pest Control. I told them what I was hearing in the attic, something walking and scratching in the wee hours of the early mornings, and they pressed with some questions and said they could get someone out to my home in a week or so. I told them I needed them to handle this as soon as possible because it was freaking me out! They told me that they handle roof rat issues over a period of time and it sounds like I need someone to do something more immediate so they referred me to their affiliate company, Critter Control. I never vetted this place because Blue Sky said they use them for immediate issues like the one I require.

So I called Critter Control and they got me in touch with this guy (I won't name him, but I REALLY want to!) who agreed to come out the next day. When he finally came to my home he did the whole company jargon about how they handle these issues, yada yada and how they do it properly blah blah. And I just want to tell you how much they were charging me for a Roof Rat problem... $1,139 which includes a mandatory $489 initial charge with a obligatory exclusion of $650! And the way they HARD SELL you, they tell you that you CAN'T get them as separate services and even have the nerve to fool you into thinking that in addition to this, you NEED an annual agreement which includes an 11-month contract for an extra $759! I mean, this doesn’t sound like taking care of the problem “immediately” to me! Blue Sky was offering the same thing, handled over a period of time!

This monthly contract from Critter Control is pressed in such a way that it is understood that this is the ONLY way to rid yourself completely of these roof rats; and the billing is so confusing, you don't even know how much the total is when it's all said and done. It's like it's purposefully confusing and obfuscating! I didn’t realize this at the time, because I was tired as I just came from work and we were outside in the hot Phoenix sun.

The guy put traps in my attic for 3 weeks and said he would prefer to come every week on Tues. and Fri. which I agreed. The first Tues. he comes, he only goes in the garage and says, You'd smell something if the traps had a rat in it. Mind you, I did not watch him go into the attic to place the traps. The next time he was late and I missed his call so I called him back and he said, Well, the wife is home and I can't come over today. We can reschedule for tomorrow or something to that effect. Seriously!? After paying you $1,200, you can't come out on the days you agreed to? I summarily dismissed it and in the subsequent weeks, they didn't catch not one roof rat! Granted, many times I heard the neighborhood cat prowling on the roof and it's hard to distinguish whether the sounds are in my attic or on the roof. The cat must've been catching them and scaring them away because I know I heard scratching up there before.

The other thing is many months prior, I had my cable line buried, so the line that was attached to the roof was superfluous and also a way that roof rats could gain access to my roof. So after I removed that cable line to the roof, I don't know how roof rats could even access my roof, because even my tree is cut short of the roof.

After coming to the realization that this Critter Control company purposefully pushes this ridiculously expensive package and won't listen to protestations about not needing a monthly agreement, or even trapping bundled with exclusion, he agreed to remove the already signed monthly agreement.

I just wanted them off my property and out of my life at this point because I feel they already ripped me off! So the last day he comes back to remove the traps, I stay in the garage to see him go in the attic and you know what!? HE DIDN’T GO ALL THE WAY IN THE ATTIC... HE STOOD ON THE LADDER AND COLLECTED THE TRAPS THAT WERE PLACED AN ARMS LENGTH AWAY! Think about this... I have a 2,100 sq ft home!!!

Am $1500 into rodent control in my front yard and it's worse than ever. Small area (4' x 15') where kangaroo rats (a little larger than mice) are living underground is more active than when Critter Control started service 11 months ago, Very nice people, but horrible results and the digging is everywhere. In the spirit of fair play, they should have refunded this exorbitant amount as things only got worse. Instead, no refund; just terrible results.

We had Bobby come by to treat the yard for insects and gophers. He was very receptive to treating our problems and very available to answer many questions. I hope he returns for service at our house regularly.

Had them come out for a rat problem I was having. Showed up on time, good value and great work. Would definitely use them again, highly recommend

Very happy with how Chris Morris approached our problem with kangaroo rats invading our front yard. It was very evident he loved his work, he was very professional and knowledgeable!

If you like being ripped off and overcharged call these guys. The manager Will Schmieder might be one of the slimiest employees in Phoenix and laughs at the high prices they charge people. They also will not guarantee their work unless you sign up for a year contract with them.

Christopher Morris with Critter Control does a fabulous job every month fighting pests at my ranch. He ALWAYS shows up for his monthly service visit and is very thorough and keeps me well informed. I highly recommend this company and additionally Christopher Morris!

After experiencing a large rattlesnake in our backyard, and fear of our dogs being struck, we contacted Critter Control to receive an estimate on replacing our existing snake fence. The sales representative was friendly and professional. He also inspected areas around the house and in the attic for possible critter activity. The attic received a clean bill of health, but he pointed out where there had been activity on the exterior of the house, and places that need to be sealed. He provided separate estimates, and was not a high pressure or pushy sales person. I received other estimates, and Critter Control was by far the most reasonable, and affordable. The technician who removed the old snake fence and installed the new one was also extremely courteous and professional. He took the time to answer any questions I asked, and never appeared annoyed by my interruptions. I fully intend to use them in the future to do the other work I received an estimate on. I highly recommend Critter Control. John was the sales rep, and Ray was the technician. They were two of the nicest and most professional men I have dealt with in business since moving to AZ.

I was referred to Critter control by someone else experiencing the nightmare of bird mites. Anyone experiencing this knows what I mean by nightmare! I really didn't expect full eradication, but I expected more results than what I ended up getting. Unfortunately, no pest company specializes in bird mites in AZ. I really wish one would take the time to research and figure out how to totally eradicate these monsters. I do have to give credit to the company for at least attempting to treat them. Most companies won't even touch you and I don't blame them after experiencing this for over two years at this point. The product they used isn't even recommended for this type of infestation. The technician claims they have had good results in the past, but I doubt what he was saying after questioning him on some specific information. I can't speak of the service for other issues, but if you're looking to eradicate bird mites I wouldn't suggest this method. I'm still on my quest before having to just move out until everything dies.....

I had a large, male rat living under behind my dishwasher, sink, and in my walls for weeks. I called another big name pest control company (their vehicles are yellow mice); they put black boxes around my house and did nothing but check the boxes once a week. In the meantime, the smell coming from my kitchen was nauseating. They informed me that I might want to move out of my house for a few months, because that's how long it could take to catch the rat. I was in a living nightmare and a friend suggested I call Jacqueline from Critter Control. Jacqueline came over at 6 pm that evening and within a day and a half she caught the rat. She is absolutely amazing! She brought an arsenal of tools (cameras, etc.) and looked behind all appliances, in walls, under sinks and found all the holes he was using to live and travel throughout my house. Look at the pictures of the rat she caught! Can you imagine living with this for weeks? Don't waste your time with any other company. Call Jacqueline at Critter Control and don't go through weeks of torment.

We have evidence of gophers and kangaroo rats making tunnels in our yard. they are working to remove them.

The owner of the company came very soon after I called to diagnose my problem. She was very knowledgeable regarding pests. I am so glad to now have my many roof vents critter-proofed.

I contacted critter control because there was a cat in my back yard in the girl and attacked my puppy. First, they left the traps with a can of cat food just there. The cat obviously moved them out of the way and left. The next day the guy came over and realized the cat was no longer here so he sealed and clean everything up.

I got the bill and in the bill I am still being charged for the trap of the cat, you guys didn’t catch the cat... it left on it own!

The guy who came to my house was super nice and talked me into canceling my existing pest company and hiring Critter Control for pest.

Once the guy left the service was terrible afterwards, there is no way to get a hold of anyone. They never answer the phone.

The fee for pest is $100, a waist of money because I can’t get anyone to come out here and do the work. Needless to say I’m going back to Preventative, they always did an amazing job and have great customer service unlike this company.

I’m stuck with a bill for over $3000 for a cat that they never caught.

A manager was suppose to call me and till this day I haven’t received a call.

Don’t use this company, the representatives are great at talking you into buying their service and once they have your business they could care less about actually performing the job.

The lady said that a manager would need to call me back because she can only see two days in advance scheduling and anything after that a manager has to get involved- such a dumb system!

The roof rats had taken over our neighborhood, not to mention the sleepless nights. Critter Control eradicated them completely. Job well done!

We used to have such a massive bird problem. The team has done so great getting them to move on to other areas. And when we do have a few issues they are so responsive.

I called Critter Control the morning after hearing a rat in a bedroom wall. They were very quick to come out & assess the situation, shared their plan on how to rid our attic/wall of rats & their plan on how to seal the attic, preventing future rats from returning. The technicians were very professional & polite. They did a great job ridding is of rats & continue to keep an eye on things every month. Their service is excellent!! I highly recommend this company.

They came out and gave me a quote for getting rid of a hornets nest. It was scheduled and the technician who arrived, on the hottest day of the year so far, got rid of those pests quickly, quietly and without disturbing my digs too much. It was so smooth. I tell everyone if they need to get rid of bees they are your guys.

Compassionate ,prompt,wearing a mask and gear as not to get or give any germs,brought a new meaning to dog catcher .the lady was here and gone in 5.glad to give her and co. A high mark for her much needed service to our city and animal population. ????

It’s hard to contact anyone. It goes through a national number, they ask if you want a call back, I’ve never received one. Then you tell the national number you still have issues...crickets. Very disappointed

We’ve been customers for many years and have never had a complaint with their service. I would describe our location as semi-rural. Critter Control has dealt with rock squirrels (trapped) and other rodents (bait boxes) , plus identified thumping on the roof (bobcat). I know they deal with gila monsters too. They are reliable, professional and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

I was told it was a free inspection. The tech called an hour before he was to arrive and told me there was a fee of $149+ to come out to my house. Not what I was told. I canceled and used another service with a free inspection.

The people here were caring and kind. They took in the dog I found and found the owner. Thank God I found a place to take the little fella

Great service just wish it was a tad less $ critter control is necessary to keep Rhodent’s gophers etc from Harming our Sprinkler’s, AC and pool equipment! I wish the golf ?️ courses used them More Often! I have properties on golf ⛳️ courses!

The initial blast was not strong enough and the gophers flourished. A very good agent came out and hopefully has resolved the problem. The gophers went to the neighbor next door.

Excellent service and quick response. I had my first ever rodent home crisis and was completely unprepared for what should, or could, be done. Pack rats had made a home in my rooftop conditioning unit, destroying its functionality. I was referred to Critter Control to manage the job. They immediately put my mind at ease as they had a serviceman arrive within 48 hours of my call. Crisis solved. And to ensure this doesn’t happen again, I’m now using their monthly maintenance plan. I had been paying for pest control with another company. So I am convinced one must hire a true specialist to really get the job done.

Salesperson misrepresented services to be performed and charged for work not performed or needed.

Had skunk under house they set traps and got it. Skunk burrowed two holes. Place is pretty expensive and you have to stay on top of the people they send out to get the quality you expect. Communication between employees could be better. Lots of new employees. Sales guy that initially came out was very sharp after that it declined. In the end the job was completed correctly with the right quality. Guy they sent out to do the final fix did a good job. 3 stars really for expense 3K to fix all this.

We had rats in our crawl space after a major remodel, so we called Critter Control. Jackie came out, did an inspection and explained the way rats function, the entry points and the plan to get rid of them. Mitch and Austin came out the next day, set traps, and enclosed the vents on the roof. In a matter of 3 days, the loud noises from the rats completely stopped. We are very happy and impressed with the professionalism by the entire staff of Critter Control. They are our go-to for critter issues. Hi Highly recommended.

Critter Control Is by far the Best in the valley. We had roof rats we use three other companies before Critter Control. Not until Critter Control was on property if we get rid of the roof rats.
