How I first found Paul was one of my two water heaters (tank type) started leaking. I wanted to switch to tankless type (which are more expensive than tank type) so I called about 10 plumbing companies, and had 10 come and give me bids. I was so surprised that for some of the bigger name companies, they actually send a salesperson, NOT a plumber to come give a bid. And of course their bids were 2-3x the smaller companies. Crazy! So the 2 big ones were out when they showed up with salespeople. Then I had 3 smaller plumbing companies come and give a bid, and Paul was the lowest of them all, while also seeming to know the most. He spent the most time checking everything needed, and I could tell he cares about quality. He also had everything ready to go on the truck, so I went with American Discount Plumbing for my first water heater replacement.

Because I liked Paul so much, I had him change the other tank type water heater over to tankless about 2 weeks later. And boy, did he work hard! He was super flexible with time, and worked until the job was completed every time, and the piping looks like a work of art!

Just today (Saturday!) I walked into a spare bedroom bathroom, and I found water on the floor. I didn't even bother calling anyone else, I just called American Discount Plumbing. Paul answered on the first ring, and he ran to the plumbing supply store (closing in 15 mins!) and grabbed a new toilet and headed to me immediately.

I rarely write reviews, but I wholeheartedly recommend Paul and the rest of American Discount Plumbing for any plumbing needs. Don't even bother calling those other big name places who send a salesperson to give you a bid. Just call Paul at American Discount Plumbing.

Been working from home so I sometimes will not enter my garage on a daily basis. Well Thursday, July 8, I went into my garage to grab a tool. Saw water on the garage floor. I realized the outlet pipe at the top of the gas hot water heater was leaking. I could not stop it so I turned off the water. The first two plumbers I called were unavailable. So I called American Discount Plumbing based on its high rating and positive reviews.

I spoke to Paul who came out that afternoon even though he was on another job. After reviewing the situation, Paul presented me some options. Given the age of the water heater (at least 5-years old), I decided to replace it. Paul offered me a fair deal including the 40-gallon water heater, and installation labor.

Paul returned Friday morning with the water heater during the time window he had indicated. After a couple of hours in sweltering heat, Paul had the gas hot water heater installed, and running. I am very pleased with Paul's responsiveness, timelines, and professional demeanor. And I got a good, fair deal. I highly recommend American Discount Plumbing.

Called Paul about 10a and he was at my home by noon. He inspected the problem made some recommendations, then started the work. There was a lot of damage but he corrected several errors made by the previous plumber and instructed me in what I needed to do after he left. He finished the job in just a couple of hours and the charges were more than reasonable...from all he had to do I expected the bill to be much higher than it was.

All in all he did a great job, showed me what he was doing and explained why it needed to be done.

Paul from American Discount Plumbing saved our Thanksgiving. We had the whole family in our house and the shower valve started leaking. We had to shut off the water to the house. Thanksgiving seemed thoroughly ruined. We called all Phoenix-area plumbers, but only Paul came through. He came late Wednesday and fixed our valve professionally and it now turns so easily! Paul installed a tankless water heater where my daughter is living. Not only was he the most reasonably priced, he went to work right away snd finished the job in timely manner. He also rushed out after a false fire alarm , just in case. It was a dead battery in the fire alarm. I would highly recommend . I am a real estate agent and need good plumbers in my life.

Pavel identified and fixed a leak in my kitchen drain that was probably there since a remodel in 2005 and was leaking under an outside wall. Solution - replace drain pipe and move drain clean-out to an outside wall.

Paul at American Discount Plumbing is very knowledgeable and reliable. He came out to our house right away to check out our hot water heater that was leaking. He quoted us a great price (compared to another large plumbing company) on both the parts and installation for a tankless water heater and also a whole house water treatment system. He was very pleasant to work with and always showed up or called when he said he would and was careful to make sure the job was done right. We ended up having him also replace a 2nd water heater in our RV garage as a preventative measure. The tank would not flush as there was too much sediment build up from not flushing on a yearly basis. My mom also had her hot water heater replaced by Paul and he installed and plumbed her BBQ island sink. She was very pleased with his work also. We had a leaking drain pipe inside the block wall behind the kitchen sink. The repair involved hammering out the block, cutting the sink drain line, vent pipe, and main drain line and repairing with a new fitting and cleanout. Paul did a great job and was very careful while hammering out the block and cutting the existing pipes.
