I have left THREE messages for the owner Steve Mason of Mason Mechanical Heating and Air to return my call and no response. Any business owner would most likely return a phone call from a past customer with problems from a repair. Not Steve!! I did have a chance to talk with Nate the service Mgr. and he went round and round how they performed the repairs correctly, however the unit does not work and they don't feel liable after 3 months. They replaced about 90% of the unit with new parts and it does not work! Ask my tenant.

I took my chances and Googled a sewer jetting company and Mason Pro Services popped up. I gave them a call within moments David was scheduled to go out! David performed professionally and quickly keeping me in the loop at all times even provided photos of the sewer line issues! The ladies in the office were also very professional getting all the required information the first time. Seriously, a no brainer here…if you have plumbing issues call Mason Pro Services they were excellent!!! I will be using them again!

Tech was very professional and on time.

The wait time was almost like an hour as mentioned but I was told I would get charged only $89 if it’s going to be an easy fix which it definitely was, the electrician John- charged me extra $75 just to flip the switch back to on position which was merely because he was a guy with more power, I thought this wouldn’t be beyond $89 as it was a simple one step thing but he said that $89 are the diagnostic fee and for him to even touch the circuit breaker and unscrew and open it would add $75 more , that was a news to me since no body told me about! I’m beyond upset with this lack of proper communication and I felt like I was ripped today. I do not recommend them at all.

Updated : The manager was very professional and prompt at responding and resolving the issue. The attitude exhibited on their part for the problem at hand was extremely remarkable. They did their research as per my previous review, reached out to me, made me feel heard and refunded me my $75. I genuinely was not expecting this but it was nice to see a company to be personable at this level to their customers. I highly recommend them now! Thanks Mason pro Services.

A long 4.5 hours with estimates and referral company coming for this financially desperate widow.

However, Karate Mike was fabulous and professional. He is a representative I can trust along with Noah from Preferred Choice Restoration who arrived immediately after Mike left. Another young man representing a company I can trust. It’s scary for a widow who’s husband of 45 years was a gifted plumber and mechanic.

Noah accompanied for the claim process and got the dehumidifiers going and will be back in the morning to open the walls. Noah will contact Mason when we are ready for Mike to return.

Mason Mechanical was quick to get out to our house for a quote, was transparent, knowledgeable and NO PRESSURE on purchasing, which was much appreciated. Once we choose to move forward with our purchase everyone we felt with in this company was helpful, professional and compassionate. Highly recommend this business!

I’ve just found a plumbing company that I’ll save in my phone for any future plumbing needs as well as referring them to friends and coworkers! Pricing is very reasonable and competitive, they responded quickly. And Gabe, plumber, was knowledgeable and told me everything he was doing and why. The initial estimate they gave was accurate, so no last minute surprise charges once he collected payment after the work was completed in about an hour (I needed a new water shutoff for my refrigerator since the old one was corroded and had to be cut off/out). Definitely a trusted company!

Jeff the electrician tech arrived early. He already
had the parts needed to replace the electrical plug for my AC unit that burned the prong at end of the chord. He upgraded with a better wall outlet so I would not have any future issues. Great job. Highly recommend.

Tony installed a grab bar in our master bathroom room..Because of the fact that we had a toilet and one grab installed at the same time and the bar installed was $99.00 we thought that that would be the same price today. When I called yesterday to have another grab bar installed we assumed it would be the same price. No.. Tony told me that this install would be $135.00, he was kind enough to waive the $36.00 more this time! Grrrrrr8 job Tony..We will know next time to ask and not assume..

Set appointment to have under sink reverse osmosis system serviced due to low pressure. I was not asked what brand it was. Service man came and looked at it. I showed him how slow the flow. He said that it was not a system that the company did work on and I could get replacement filters on my own. If I had known that when setting up the appointment, I wouldn't have done it. I learned a $69 lesson.

I had a home inspection by the buyers that said the compressor didn't work.
I called Mason Mechanical ( the installer and maintainers) at 1:00 pm. They got a tech on site by 3:10 that verified the unit was operating correctly.
An excellent organization I have been using and very satisfied with for over 14 years.

After inspection, tech must give report to sales person for seperate visit for estimate.

Tech was friendly personable on-time clean and pleasant. Very knowledgeable and efficient. The job was completed fast and I now have working outlets and lights !

Overpriced and NOT transparent on their fees -- but when pressed, their fees are VERY high (probably why they aren't upfront with them). This is just another HVAC company that takes advantage of consumers with pressure tactics of coming out to the home, and then they've got you, because you already paid them a ridiculous amount ($150!) just to get in their van and come to your home. I even asked for pricing ranges on specific services, and they wouldn't tell me upfront. When I insisted, I was put on hold and the price range for a simple cleaning was 3-4 times higher than 3 other competitors quotes, who all had the same, or higher google review-ratings. They make it a maze when strait answers are needed. Full disclosure, I did not have them come out, because their pricing is so out of line and high. I also was put off by the lack of transparency. I wouldn't trust this company to be fair or well-priced based on my experience with them. There's too many other companies in the valley with the same ratings and reviews (or better) who are upfront on cost and service expectations, as well as reasonably priced.
UPDATE: I found several other companies who were upfront and honest about pricing. The company that ended up coming out was excellent-- they come out for free, gave price ranges upfront over the phone before I booked them, and took great care of my systems. Mason is just another rip-off HVAC company. Don't waste your money.

I had a tech come out to look at my ceiling fan that was turning on by itself. He was extremely knowledgeable and happy to help! The best part was for minor fixes the tech explained how I could do it on my own to avoid additional costs in the future. The educational piece is why I would use them again. Friendly and fast service!

Set an appointment yesterday 8/8 and Christian just finished up at 8/9. He was great and explained/answered every question I had. Finished up the project very quickly. Always a good experience with Mason Mechanical. Bob Burns really does a great job and explains everything he does to us. He is very good to work with and makes us feel very comfortable. We trust him to make the right decisions.

Derek was honest and not salesy. We just wanted him to check our AC as it did not seem to be running as well as it should be. We have an old unit, but he didn’t push that it needed to be replaced like every other repair person has. It was after hours and he was honest and said nothing needed to be done now, call back and schedule them to be done during business hours. Definitely using them from now on.

Mike was the nicest plumber. What was a mystery of water running off the roof was figured out. He also cut a Sheetrock hole to discover water running into bathroom from the roof. ALso discovered a irrigation hose spraying water onto the roof. He was very thorough , helpful and sweet guy. A very good employee for you to have!!!

Mason Mechanical is on my blacklist. I called them at 9:30 am. They said they could fix my A/C unit. I was clear about what I needed. I called them again at 11:30 to double check that they had experience working on my type of A/C unit. Again they said yes. As I waited for their technician to arrive, I became worried about Mason's competence, so I called them a third time, at 1:30 pm. Once again Mason Mechanical reassured me that they could fix my unit, or at least tell me what was wrong with it. At 4:00 pm after I had waited all day for their technician, they suddenly called me and said they don't work on my kind of A/C unit, nor did they know of anyone who did.

Jim Emmons (Tech) was timely, efficient and professional. Our service with Mason Pro Services was the result of our previous guy retiring and recommending them. We are very satisfied. We also had a surge protector installed as we had one on the previous unit in case of storms or power outage.

Called Mason mid morning to inspect and repair if necessary a potential leak to the external hot water main feed to kitchen. Aaron arrived shortly after lunchtime and inspected the potential leak area and informed me there was no leak and that the adhesive foam around the elbow had discolored and that birds had pecked away making the copper visible. Aaron was very personable and obviously a very competent professional.Thanks to Mason and Aaron today for solving my leak fears problem and also for their most expeditious and eficient service. I asked at Church if anyone knew a plumber that wouldn't gouge us. One of the staff said the church used Mason Pro Services and they were reliable and trustworthy and reasonable.(of utmost importance). When I called, the person answering the phone was empathetic, polite, and asked if I would be at home today as he could send a plumber out within a couple of hours! The person who came was MIke and he was great. He explained what he would do and exactly how much it would cost. When the first problem was solved, a second arose. Once again Mike explained what he would do and the cost. This time the problem(s) were totally solved and my wife and I were happy campers. I think Mike should get a raise and I without reservation do recommend Mason Pro Services.

Fast service and 35% less than all the other quotes we got. I would definitely use them again.

I've called on them twice. Both times the result is what I expected (or better) and I haven't felt that they tried to sell me anything beyond the specific issue I called for. This last time I found out that one of my units just wasn't up to the job I was using it for and they showed me a trick to help it cope rather than trying to sell me a solution.

I have a good friend that does commercial HVAC but lives too far to help directly and everything these guys have said or done was confirmed good by him also.

I will call again if the need comes up.

UPDATE 2020: Recently I opted for an annual inspection on one of my Fujitsu split-mini systems. A couple days later, I discovered that the unit was flashing lights and would not come on. It took only one short, reasonable conversation with the service manager Nate before they had scheduled an appointment to replace the failed part. They had my system running again days later, before the heat and didn't ask for another penny.

Mason Mechanical is, without a doubt, the most reliable, professional and honest company that I have worked with. We've used Mason Mechanical to service our units for several years now and have always been impressed with their promptness and with the professionalism of their office and service staff. On our most recent service call, the service technician, Miguel, was extremely polite and took extra time to investigate the warranty status of our unit (installed by another company). Once our issue was diagnosed, there was no pressuring or upselling and he provided measurements and photos of all his observations. When the best path forward with repair wasn't clear, he gave me his opinion and then consulted also with his supervisor for additional input. He wiped his feet before entering the house and made sure to put the thermostat back to where we wanted it before leaving. Thank you.

My husband and I have used Mason Mechanical for many years and have always been very happy with the ease of getting an appointment, service man coming on time, the work and efficiency of the service people, the pricing and follow-up. We recently purchased a new TRAIN AC as our old Carrier AC lasted 20+ years. Not only was the sales rep, Joe, extremely professional but the installers, Ryan and Richard, were very thorough and fast. In less than three hours the new AC was installed and working properly and the old one carted away. Extremely happy with the entire process!!

Our A/C stopped cooling (of course) and we have always used Mason, in fact they installed the unit we have17 some odd years ago , and kept it running all that time.
Bryan was sent out to assess the problem, and it is old, so yes we need a new one.There are so many things wrong with it that are cost prohibitive.
Joe the wonderful finance guy came to our home to try to help us with getting a new unit. We are waiting on finance, so that is where I'll leave that.

We just had Jim out twice to get our A/C back up and running. 1st trip was to do diagnostic tests to determine the issue why our unit was cooling after 1st repair. 2nd trip was doing the actual fix to get the unit working. After an electrical fire in my dryer outlet, I called 5 electricians to identify issue and replace damaged outlet. Mason Pro Services was the only one I found with a reasonable estimate. I have had Mason Pro Services out to my home many times and have had great service. This weekend I found my outdoor unit iced up. It was extremely urgent that we figured out what the issue was because we are in the middle of summer and I have 4 dogs at home that could not be without air.

The team responded to me very quickly. Lucas was my technician and he was able to find the issue, thankfully the part that was needed to solve my problem was available to get me back up and running.

4/2021 - Mason installed this ac heat pump unit. This was the final warrantee maintenance check, and the unit is working fine. Techs are good workers and keep a clean work area. Hope it continues to work could be a hot summer.

Had some l t.cine voltage problems and Jim Emmons troubleshot the issues to an electrical supply box near air handler. Richard there too, and they did a good job on an intermittent problem. Hope it fixes these issues! Unit running good now, great job!~!!!

We had an unexpected issue come up where as we needed plumbing moved and Mason Mechanical got the job done within 24 hours.

We have been a regular customer of Mason Mechanical for many years. We have them come out at least once a year for a comprehensive system check before it hits 110+. The technicians are ALWAYS on-time, knowledgeable, experienced, and extremely curtious. Mike C., the technician that came to our house today was no exception. He was very efficient and when he was done, he spent sufficient time explaining what he did and his findings from his checkup on our equipment. (He even stopped long enough to make a fuss over my beagle, who I know really enjoyed and appreciated the attention.) Thank you all for being there when we need you.

Bob is the Technician that services our campus and he always does an amazing job. He communicates well and takes the time to answer my questions and explains in detail what his findings are. We always get parts we need quickly, Bob understands we're a school and a down AC can be very uncomfortable for our staff and students. As a Facilities Manager having good vendors is so important and having Mason Pro Services to call when an AC unit goes down or the heat isn't working is imperative to the functionality of our campus. Bob always takes good care of us and our students and staff are so appreciative of him. The office staff at Mason Pro Services always does a great job of communicating which in return helps me to keep Teachers updated and at ease knowing their classroom AC units/heat will be up and running soon. We have been DYING in our home since the seller lied to us and said the air conditioner was great in the summer. We had MANY quotes for repair/replacement. Joe C was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING from the very first visit. We felt like he was honest and genuine and wasn't trying to simply drain our account to make a buck. He understood that we had a budget AND that we have children that are simply miserable. I honestly felt like he cared about us as people and didn't talk down to us regarding technical matters (that I very much understand). Other companies were very condescending and felt like we were just dollar signs to them. We had our AC replaced and additional flex/return added. The very first night my daughter could FINALLY SLEEP IN HER ROOM COMFORTABLY!! For those of you in AZ you understand what a big deal this is. Edgar P. was one of the install techs and he was very kind and thoughtful. He made sure our kitten never got out the front door and was very personable. He had to return to replace a special order item. He tried to come one day after work but we assured him that wasn't necessary that he had a long day and could go home and come back tomorrow! He did come the next day and took his time installing the piece the right way (even though it was ridiculous to get in). Joe has checked in with us every step of the way. Our system is PHENOMENAL and I could hug each and every one of the Mason Mechanical team!! I will be recommending them to everyone I know in need of AC work!!

Our ac/heating breaker recently blew. My husband was able to repair. However, it was recommended that an electrician evaluate in addition to assessing our electrical panel (that was built in 1990). I called Mason Mechanical and they sent Christian (electrician) to our home. He was very thorough by evaluating the breaker replacement my husband did in addition to evaluating the age and condition of our electrical panel. Christian was very transparent and honest, recommending replacement but did not tell us it was necessary. I greatly appreciate the honesty. Christian was very knowledgeable and relayed information to me in a manner that I understood. He is a an great representative of a fine company and a very nice young man!

Can’t believe how quiet my new air conditioner is. My 15 year old system broke down 3 times in the last 2 months. I verified all the work they did with a friend in the business and the said it was completed better and faster than they could have gotten it done. Great professional service! Great response time. I returned home Wednesday after an extended long weekend and found my downstairs Trane unit had stopped cooling. I contacted Mason mechanical the following morning and they were quick to respond. Thier tech arrived in the afternoon and replaced the defective condenser motor in a timely manner. We are cool and comfortable now.

I'll honestly never work with another HVAC company again. Mason Mechanical has been servicing the 20+ units on my building for about 3 years now, and I've never had a bad experience. Two units just went down at the same time, leaving my Lab without air, and they did everything they could to get out to us and get our units back up. Their technicians are always professional and always have the customers best interest in mind. I'm never worried that I'm going to be price gauged over an emergency. I almost don't want to leave a review because I want them all to myself, but they're all so deserving of the praise. 5 billion stars.

The plumbing techs and AC techs are the best in Phoenix area! They might be a small amount more expensive, but job is done right with NO reworks. Always on time and great communication from the main office. I have been using then 4 years now with no complaints. AC repairs, AC maintenance, new toilets, and numerous other repairs including a complete water soft system. 47 year old house.

We had a tough clog in some old pipes. Mack was relentless on getting the job done right. It took 2 trips and a water jet but he was able to get the problem solved. He knew what he was doing and how to get it done!

Our tech was very professional. I feel he did a thorough job as far as the maintenance he performed on our unit. He let us know that our unit is old (14yrs) and soon it will need to be replaced. Great communication, I was able to have my water heater fixed the next day by a knowledge and friendly technician.

David Johnson was fantastic. He was able to diagnose and fix a rather unique clog of the main drain between our house and the street. He saved us what could have been thousands of dollars if someone would have had to dig up the pipes.

Mason was the original installation contractor for my packaged heat pump system. I call them to do a p/m inspection each year and I am extremely happy with all of the techs that have responded. I am an out of state owner and Mason mechanical has been able to send a tech on Saturday each time when I'm in town. I am quite satisfied with their service and their professional technicians.

My 11 year old Trane XL20i stopped cooling four weeks ago. The week was an early, hot one and not a time for breakage of the most essential home appliance this time of year. I placed a call and had a technician within just a few hours who ably diagnosed my issued in the condenser unit outside. One of the two compressors in my dual stage unit wasn't turning on properly. I was instructed how to keep the system going until the part could be secured. Thanks to Covid19 the part was delayed a week so with baited breath we waited hoping the other stage compressor didn't fail. Upon part arrival technician Derek was sent, made the needed repairs, tested the system and gave it a green light. I can't say enough about this company and the employees who work for it. In my six years as a customer everyone who I've came in contact with are professional, very knowledgeable, willing to go the extra mile to help, and proud of what they do and who they work for. Great service including estimate, installation & quality inspection of new lower level HVAC unit. Very informative, as well, in regard to why one of my upper bedrooms does not cool and how to achieve an immediate effect.

They always do a thorough biannual check up of both the heating and cooling system. They also went above and beyond to do an extra review of a non air conditioner related leak spot on my ceiling.

Great feedback about the issue that was found in the air conditioner system and how issue was resolved. Very nice and professional manner throughout all of it. If we had any further issues down the road I would recommend Jim be the first technician on site.

Mason Pro Services has an A+ Better Business Bureau rating and their service was excellent. I had multiple jobs completed over the course of two days with Christian present both days. Jobs included: removal of garage ceiling lights and new CAM lights installed, cable installed in a new drop, new utility room light, adding anew outlet in garage, and moved an outdoor switch to new location. Jake and Chad showed up literally 30 minutes after I made contact with the office (even though it's pretty much summer here and probably their busiest season). These guys came in and resurrected a dead AC unit in about an hour. Super cool guys and very informative. Replaced all necessary parts and even wiped down all surfaces they touched including the walls and breaker box. When I need my AC serviced or repaired in the future I know who I'm going to call. I notice my floor was squashed it was like walking on a splash pad. I knew I had a leak. So I called Mason Pro and told them the problem and ask for Michael and he was at my house by 8:30 and had the leak detect and knew of a restoration company called them and now it the process of getting dried out and repaired.

I originally called parker and sons and was quoted a insane amount so I was referred from a family friend to try mason mechanical and i am so glad i did. They fixed the problem and quoted me a price that was 1/3 of the price that parker and sons quoted me. I would definitely use them again. I recommend no one using parker and sons as they didn't even spend time diagnosing the problem and mason mechanical spent time to see what the problem was and told me a totally different store than parker and sons.

I decided to replace my two heat pumps. My salesperson did an excellent job on educating me on my options. Did not try to push a certain solution. First off, the office staff who scheduled me was completely wonderful and helpful so I have no problem with them, really it’s more with Jonathon, our technician. My main issue is that I was having problems with one of my lights not coming on in my closet and this was after I had my friend remodel my bathroom. Now I get it, if there’s things that aren’t up to code then I definitely want to correct it but dude just took a 5 second look at my wiring, took a picture and said it’s gonna cost $1,500.00 to fix up all this illegal wiring but didn’t explain why it would be that high lol. So I decided to cut through my drywall and found that everything was in junction boxes and weren’t all free air wiring, it was just the added wires for the bathroom light that wasn’t corrected which I corrected by adding romex wire and it cost me $300.00 for the material I brought since I thought it was going to be a big job and didn’t even use half of it so basically dude came here for 5 min and tried to scam me out of $1,500.00 expecting me to be super gullible and just hand it over without any explanation needed besides illegal wiring. I was actually expecting to become a loyal customer if all went well and would have given more business because it’s not that I can’t afford to spend that kind of money, I just don’t like it when I’m being quoted by a greedy douche bag. I’ll call George Brazil before I reach out to these guys sorry but not sorry.

At my unit at Broadway Reliance The water-vap worked before they looked at it. It was a service my land lord provided for my shop space. They went up there and broke it. They sure did give me a bill though. This company is like the rest of them. If you are at Broadway reliance refuse to have their service and call your own company. Mason is a joke. Just listen to the techs talk.

Addition. They did try to call and email me. They did not go up there and see what they had done wrong. They have been up on the roofs all week. They did take the cover off and then they put it right back on. It still does not turn on. it worked fine before you touched it. Stop harassing me and get up there and check it out. Actions!! I don't care about words. EVER

Willus was outstanding. I had an issue with my A/C after hours and Mason Co was able to come to my house and repaired my equipment. Willus suggested for me to do some maintenance in the future and I appreciate him taking the time to fix the issue and also to check my equipment for potential issues.

The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and informative. HOWEVER, the fee for DIAGNOSTIC was stated as $89. They did NOT STATE that it was a visit fee. The actual diagnostic was an additional $75. I will not be using this service in the future.

Had a new gas cooktop installed. It was originally electric so I had electrical and gas work done. Mike did a fantastic job converting my electrical from 220 service to 110 and David's followed with the installation of the new gas cooktop in a not so easy existing cutout. I could not be happier with Mason from the office folks to the ones doing the work! They will be my go too for all work needed at my home! Great service!

Record heatwave and Record service. Mason pro service responded quickly, diagnosed the issue, gave us options, and got it fixed when they said they would.

Had Mason Pro Services complete a whole page of electrical issues for me. They even called to see if tgey could start earlier than scheduled. They spent most of a day repairing GFCI outlets, light switches, and a cut wire in my attic another technician damaged on another unrelated job. They installed 7 new LED light fixtures in my garage and a new light in the attic. They took care of my to do list with skill and expertise that I lack, getting it all done and leaving me satisfied it was done right. Thank you Jeff!!

We had them come out to check out our mini split that was freezing up because our air guy was on vacation. They came out for a service call which was $89 bucks. That’s fine. They then needed an additional $150 to diagnose any issues. Seems like that’s what the service call was for but ok, agreed to pay. Diagnosed low coolant, 2 leaking flare nuts with a repair cost of over $1,000 and they aren’t guaranteeing that’s is everything wrong so it might me more. I did not have them complete repair and has my normal guy come out a week later. He found unit it low on coolant but no leaks in any flair nuts. He filled unit with coolant and we are all good. I would steer clear of this company unless you like them making up repairs that are needed that they will charge you for.

My only regret is we don’t use them last year when our upstairs unit went out and we ended up overpaying, for less quality and service, than Mason Mechanical would have charged. This company is very trustworthy and appears to have high quality technicians. I am impressed with technician Jim Emmons who visited my home yesterday to install connection wiring for 2 stage operation for my Trane air conditioner. He was very thorough and particular and took the time to explain the procedure of running the wire and the effect it would have on the efficiency of my air conditioner. This job was one his company took upon themselves to correct as the original A/C installer did not hookup the 2 stage operation at the time of installation. It was fortunate for me that Mason Mechanical had quality technicians to discover in servicing my unit, that it did not have the 2 stage wiring in place!

The sump pump in the basement stopped working. Contacted Mason Pro Services through their website. They got right back to me and said they could have someone out that afternoon. The technician arrived when he said he would. He took it apart and we discussed my options. We decided to replace it, so Mack went and bought a new pump and had it working the same day.

I called Mason Pro on Monday and they were able to send someone to my home the next day. The electrician was very professional and explained everything he was doing. He also answered all of my questions. I definitely recommend them!

I had an 8-12 appointment with Mason Pro. To my surprise the tech showed up at 8 promptly. When does that ever happen. Usually your waiting all day. I thought I was having a problem with a broken vent. Turned out it was a broken outlet cover on the side of the house. This was a difficult problem because you would only hear the banging when it's windy. He applied a temporary fix, which he didn't have to do, until I can replace the cover. Secondly, I appreciate the tech putting on shoe covers when entering my home. Even though I really didn't use any of their services I will definitely use this company again to service my water heater and other items.

Mason Pro Services came out to install a new a/c and heating system. They were realistic with their timelines given the AZ heat and their services being in high demand at the moment. They were also very responsive and I knew I’d be able to trust them. If I ever need assistance with my HVAC needs in the future, they’ll be the first group I’d call.

My AC stopped working in the middle of 113+ degree weather. I called Mason Mechanical, explained that another company had already determined that my old Goettle unit could not be repaired. From the minute that Joe, Mason's Comfort Consultant, stepped into my home & concurred that the AC could not be repaired, I felt Mason Mechanical was definitely my best choice. Joe gave me several options, gave me a definite date of installation and even offered a portable AC until my new unit was installed. Before you knew it my new unit was installed by Chad and James who were equally polite and very efficient. Challen was phenomenal throughout our entire process of getting a new AC unit, I love that there's no hard sell and they were understanding of our situation. Challen worked hard to get us the best deal and financing for us to make sure we didn't have a broken down AC unit during the hottest summer in Arizona. My husband is pretty particular and knows what he wants done and how he wants the job completed - Challen was more than patient in answering all of our questions as well as making sure the work that was completed was to our satisfaction. Before we got our new AC unit we had Mason Mechanical coming out yearly since 2017 to make sure our unit was running correctly as it was awfully old and we never felt pressured to buy a new one. Very professional. Employees are not paid on commission which means they can make the recommendation that's best for you rather than for them.

I dont know if it was a miscommunication with the company. But they sent a tech out with the wrong notes on what was needed. Tried to charge us 600 for a service we didn't request. I had ordered a service under our crawl space very specifically and I was told they couldn't because they tech just didn't want too.
Had them leave with nothing solved and a whole morning wasted.

This was not a great experience. The technician even before he came out on Friday was telling us he probably could not fix our water heater. He arrived at our property and told us it was the valve and most likely would not be able to get parts. After he left, I called another plumber who came out and fixed it within 5 minutes. I was charged a $129 by Mason and they did nothing. I would not recommend this company

These guys sabotage your units so that you'll have to call them back. Worst ac company in the valley.

I contacted 4 companies as soon as my AC went out on the hottest day this summer. Mason was the first to get back to me. And they were available to see me the soonest ..like within hours. I met with Joe and he was so knowledgeable we were able to identify the component that was failing. Then Derek arrived with a bunch of analysis tools and we were able to not only see what was failing, but also why. My compressor was drawing an insanely large amount of current and it was flipping my breaker. It was drawing more than 50A but a typical compressor is probably only drawing14A. So I should have a huge electric bill coming if i continue with that compressor. I'm so happy to have this info to make an informed decision on if I just put a bandaid on the AC or go with a more reliable and more efficient solution with a lower utility bill too. These guys were amazing and I highly recommend them. Also.. my thermostat read 100 deg F inside my home before they arrived. When they left I was in the 80s and still cooling. Cost me less than 100 dollars. I would have paid 3 times that too.

We lived in our home for 2 summers DYING from the heat. It wouldn't get below 87 INSIDE! It was horrendous. Home warranty covered nothing! Mason Mechanical was the 3rd quote we got and they GUARANTEED we'd be cool in the summer. It's been 2 years and I was sitting in my living room FREEZING and thanking God for this company and remembered I never left a review. NEVER use these guys. They make sure they will be back and charge you for it. Over $30K for this unit and they have debris all over coming out of the vents. Said they don't clean vents and to call another department. THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE FILTER!!! ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

Mike C just installed a new gas water heater for us and as with all previous work he has done for us, the process was outstanding. He takes care to ensure the installation is done right and went beyond the minimum requirements to replace all fittings to prevent sludge build-up. This is such a good company and our interaction with all their techs is great. They clearly go out if their way to hire qualified and experienced personnel

We have been using Mason Mechanical now for about a year and we are very pleased with their service for Plumbing and AC. We just replaced the 2 AC units on our home that were 20 years old. John tried to help us get them to last until the first of the year, but one of them gave out. He called Ish to come and evaluate our home for the right system. Ish arrived with no advance schedule in less than an hour at 6:00 pm. He was extremely thorough and had to get up in our VERY hot attic to check everything out. He provided us with multiple options for replacement that were much more efficient. We plan to keep our home for many more years so we wanted a high-end system and Ish helped us compare the options that made sense for us. It was a big investment but well worth it, we LOVE the new multi-stage units. They are so efficient and so quiet. Throughout the entire process, every person we interacted with was professional and clearly demonstrated their skill and experience. They were very careful with our home and cleaned up the mess when they were done. We worked closest with Ish but Chad, James, Richard, and Dion were all great too. We couldn't be happier with the end results. We are especially pleased with the unique method they had to seal all of our duct work. They were able to prove that we were losing over 25% of our cool air through duct leaks and they sealed them to the point that we are now close to 100% efficient. Great company!

All the experiences I've had using an HVAC company in the past have been dicey, at best. Because of this, when my AC starts acting up I start to panic a bit. However, I found Mason Pro Services via a recommendation from Brooke on KNIX and gave them a call.

From the first interaction, I could tell this company was different than the rest. Their scheduling team was on top of every interaction we had, starting with the questions they asked me about what was going on with my system. They didn't just ask surface level questions (e.g., what kind of system is it?), but they really probed to uncover what issues there could be to make sure they could provide the best service.

A few days later, Jim, the technician, came out to take a look. If I could give Jim a separate 5-stars, I would. Not only was Jim and his team courteous, but he did a great job educating me about my unit, overall system, ductwork, and even what I could do in the future to make the airflow better throughout my old, 1950's style ranch house.

Not once throughout my appointment did I feel as though I was being sold to. In fact, after he educated me on the spectrum of options for fixing the airflow within my house, Jim actually recommended AGAINST doing some of the more expensive things, given he had learned about my plan of remodeling my house at some point (it'd be a waste of money - Jim).

In my experience, most HVAC techs are salespeople first, technicians second. However, my experience with Mason Pro showed they are all about quality service, educating the customer, and recommending what's best - not what's going to make them the most money.

Jim wound up fixing and cleaning a few things with my AC unit, and I can say that my AC has never worked better... which has been ideal with the AZ summer we've had.

I haven't used Mason Pro for their plumbing or electrical services yet, but I guarantee they will be the first call I make when I inevitably need either of those.

There's many reasons why this family-run company has been in business for decades and service tons of commercial and residential clients - because they're just THAT good. I highly recommend giving them a call for all of your home service needs!

Chad and Edgar replaced an AC unit at the office building on April 1st. From a customer service standpoint Chad did a great job. Chad and Edgar were at the job site at the time they said they would be here, politely asked questions when they needed more information of where to locate breakers and such at the job site, checked in with me after the job was completed and gave me feedback on how the new install went overall. They also took great care in where they parked vehicles to minimize the inconvenience to customers visiting other tenants in the complex.

I’ve since added them as my HVAC maintenance contractor and as with today, they showed up in time, gave me a full accounting of what is happening with my system, showed me photos, changed my filter and checked the Nest. Unlike some other recent contractors, both had on masks and put on booties. I did not have to ask them to do it.

Mason Pro Services is an absolute 5 star company! As a former service technician I can write this review from the experience of first hand knowledge. This company is truly honest and does fantastic work. It was a pleasure working with them for the short time that I lived in Arizona. I will forever be grateful for the kindness that was shown to me.

I called early morning with a water main break, so no water. They told me that they don't have anyone available until afternoon but they would try to move some things around.
Within 5 minutes, I get a call back, David is on his way and will be there in 30 min
David shows up ~15 minutes later and fixed the leak in ~20 minutes. Bamm! I have water again.
I had been calling everywhere with no luck. I went from no water to problem fixed in a an hour once a got ahold of Mason.
You just don't find great customer service AND quality workmanship like that anymore.

Mason Mechanical installed 3 Trane heat pump systems in my home 2 weeks ago. From the start, its been a great experience. Challen came out and inspected the existing ducts and and installation requirements very thoroughly. There was no pressure to sell unnecesary services or system add-ons. I wanted an air handler moved from the attic to a closet for easier access in the future. Challen took me through the requirements and explained how my idea for ducting would allow too much air flow noise (I'm glad I listened - the new location is working out perfectly). A separate visit was conducted to get detailed measurements for installation specifics. Then, Johnny and team were at the house for 3 days and did a great job on the install. Really appreciate the care they took to work carefully and cleanly in the house. The install quality looks great.
Challen and Dion came back for Mason's standard follow up quality check process after the systems ran for 2 weeks. Went through all the warranty and system operations in detail. Dion spent 3 hours running diagnostics, cleaning up some install 'appearance' items (I didn't even see), and making minor refrigerant adjustments.
From the time I first contacted them, every text, email, or phone call was promptly responded to and every question addressed. We really love these ultra quiet variable speed systems. I feel like we have quality AC, quality installations, and a company we can count on if any issues arise down the road.

Very professional service. They were on time, thorough, clean, honest, and polite. it cost us approximately $170 for them to come and check everything. We had no issues so this was a base cost for 2 big units. Not sure how that compares to other companies, cost-wise. We plan on using Mason mechanical heating in the future.

Mason Mechanical has been our “go to” A/C service company for a number of years. When our original heat pump finally died after about 17 years they installed a Trane unit. They came out and serviced it for eleven years covering all problems under warranty until it too failed during the hottest time of the year. It had to be replaced but they provided a portable room A/C unit at no charge until it could be done. Their service techs have always been courteous and go over the results of their inspection or repair without fail. I would recommend Mason Mechanical without hesitation.

They explained the duct sealing process, pointed out the steps they were doing and demonstrated how what they were doing was benefitting me. For example Dereck demonstrated how he was caulking and sealing the duct register penetrations in the ceiling. The result seems everything we expected. They cleaned up the work afterwards to a pristine condition, have never seen a contractor crew leave the house as clean as this.

Challen Hansen and his group did a excellent job. Our heat pump did not work this year when be got to AZ. We had a friend that recommended Mason Mechanical. I called on a Sat. and a service person named Jim came out and did some testing and found out that our blower was not working and to fix it would cost about $1500 to $2000. Our heat pump was over 20 years old so we decided to evaluate getting a new one. Jim called the office and Challen came out on Sat. afternoon and went over the options. We got a got the XR unit. The new heat pump was to be installed on the next Tuesday. They did a good job of installing and put a new intake into our bedroom which really improve cooling. Next, a week later the unit was checked and found that one wire was broken. They had to get a special part to fix that. However, I feel that new wires should have been part the new heat pump. Challen assured me there would be not problem. The group took time to show us how to used new controls. On Saturday, after we made the decision to purchase the unit, Challen went back to the warehouse and got us a portable cooling unit and installed that in our house and it did cool our bedroom. I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt it was necessary to leave one for Mason Pro! I called on a Friday evening, they were able to fit me in on Monday to go over my options for a water softening system. Aaron called on Monday morning to let me know that he was ahead of schedule and that I had the option of him coming earlier! He came to my house, and explained the difference between the systems, recommended what he thought was best for my home and he was even able to install the system the same day! AND it was significantly cheaper than what some of my neighbors have paid when going through other companies! 10/10 would recommend Mason Pro and bonus if you have Aaron to service your home!

We have had some warranty issues with our coolers. Mason Mech is quick to respond. The techs that have come out are polite and courteous. Dereck was the third different tech to service our equipment. He was able to diagnose some previous issues that hadn't been taken care of before. If you have an issue call and ask for Dereck, he was superb.

Used this company a few times now for AC units. They have been great each time and Inwull continue to use and highly recommend them! Ethan went above and beyond to explain how the system functions and why certain recommendations were made and are important.

I was told that for $89 a tech would be sent out to give my a diagnosis and quote to repair my Lennox air conditioner that was blowing out hot air.I told them ahead of time that the evaporator coil ruptured and leaked out approximately 9 lbs of refrigerant. but they couldn't give me a ball park guesstimate over the phone.
Tech came, told me it was $89 just to visit my house and that a pinpoint diagnosis to find where the leak is coming from would cost an additional $295 bringing the potential bill to$385.This company is deceptive and I would guess that techs earn a commission to pinpoint where leak is even though Lennox evaporator coils are notorious for breaking and a previous repairman told me the evaporator coil ruptured.If you want to spend $385 for a diagnosis and no price quote, use this people at your own risk.

I will never use this business! They must hire the most ignorant and childish people. We witnessed (recorded on our security camera) an employee of Mason Pro Services egg an elderly neighbors home and vehicles standing in front of his Mason Pro Services van that he parks on our street instead of his own.

Update: The police spoke with your employee and he admitted to throwing the eggs at the neighbors home. The least he could have done was help the neighbors clean up the mess he caused. Pretty rude to leave a couple in their 80's to clean up that mess in this heat.

It's been about 5 weeks and still having the same problem. Every couple weeks I have to turn heat on to get cooler yo work. When I called them I thought they would fix problem. Instead they put a bandaid on on it. When I called them back they want me to pay to have someone come look at the issue. I wouldn't recommend them.

Mason Mechanical was quick to come out and inspect the 2 ac units. They were very attentive and polite. I had my report in hand at the end of the inspection. Great people and business.

I had a Crazy intermittent problem with my heater Shannon was Awesome and was able to get Jim E. out while the problem was actually happening. Jim was able to diagnosis the problem quickly. Shannon was able to locate the Part and have Jim come back in 2 hours to change out the part and have my heat back on. I was VERY Pleased with they service I was provided with and recommend them to everyone.

The true test of a company is how they respond when things go wrong. Mason Mechanical was INCREDIBLE when we hit some snags installing a new unit on our house. Not only did all the technicians work tirelessly to figure out the problems, but Dean (the owner) expressed his personal concern over the issue and made sure his techs stayed (over the course of three days) until the problem was solved. Mason's technicians are trustworthy, patient, and work hard. I've lived in the Valley for almost 25 years, and this is the first A/C company I've used that I completely trust. I just wish I'd found them years ago. I'll never call anyone else.

This is the second time I used Mason Pro Services for electrical work and both experiences were great. I called them and they were able to come out same day. Jeff was the gentleman that came out on my most recent visit and I was very impressed with him. He knew exactly what I needed and gave me very fair pricing. He was

I wanted to take a minute to add to my 5 star review after my experience with one of Mason's techs, Tristin, a couple of weeks ago. I've used Mason for about 20 years so I've met with quite a few techs over the years and always had a good experience with all of them. This time, Tristin came out to help me reconnect my T-stat and do a diagnostic check of my HVAC system. He was terrific in all aspects. he took the time to learn about the problem, spent the time to troubleshoot the problem and investigate various options to resolve. He was always pleasant and professional. At no time did he show any impatience at the time it was taking to work to correct the problem and didn't leave until he had completed the reconnection and thoroughly completed his diagnostic check -- then he was good enough to replace a hard to reach return filter for me. Definitely 5-star service!

Not impressed with this company at all. A new Trane AC unit was installed by Mason Mechanical on April 2014. Less than 4 years from the installation a blower motor stopped working and had to be replaced. Even with part warranty it costed me $500 for the repair. Yesterday AC started to blow a warm air. Called Mason AC company for a repair service. A technician came out and told me AC was leaking freon but could not identify where the leak was. I had to pay additional $200 for leak search on top of $125 service call. A tech initially told me it would cost $1,700 for repair. When I asked for more info about the cost he called his supervisor and came back with about $1,200. Technician said warranty was not applicable at all for this kind of repair. Called another company for repair and a technician from that company said it was very easy to find where the leak was coming from. Anyway, something must be wrong with this AC unit installed by Mason. How can a new Trane AC have so much problems? Less than 5 years from the installation I have spent over $2,000 for AC repairs so far.

We recently purchased two new units from Mason Mechanical. From the moment we called them our hand was held through the whole process. The salesman that came and walked through our house to determine the best unit for our house was so warm and personable. The crew that came to install the units were on time, professional, respectful of my home, and fun to visit with. One of the things they did that I appreciated the most was how they covered up all my carpet with plastic to protect from dirt that was brought in during the process. Thank you Mason Mechanical. Initially it was for A/C tune up; while talking, we scheduled them to service our kitchen faucet which had lost pressure, and service our RO as well. Their prices were fair. Moreover, their communication, professionalism, and promptness were great. I recommend this company for any applicable household maintenance because of the overall service we received from the office and the techs.

We interviewed 3 companies before deciding on Mason Mechanical to install a new air conditioner.
I had actually never heard of them (there must be hundreds of air conditioning co), so was surprised to read that they've been in the area for over 20 yrs.
Their total price came in the middle of quotes, so price wasn't the determining factor, but the professionalism from my initial call, to the salesman, Joe, who came out to explain their products, to the 2 technicians, Edgar & Richard, who arrived right on time & worked 7hrs in 110° heat, all made it easy to write this review.
We were sent a bio with photo of the salesman who would be coming. He wore a mask & shoe coverings, since we're still in the midst of the pandemic. We especially appreciated that Joe, the salesman, didn't try to over sell us, but presented facts, answered all of our questions & was very knowledgeable on the products. They were also the only co that didn't text persistently, asking for our decision, only 1 time, asking if they could provide any addtional info.
The day before the install, we were sent a questionnaire, asking if anyone in our home had a temp, traveled out of the country, etc. The only thing it didn't contain was who we should be expecting, as they did with the sales person. When I replied, asking for their names, I didn't get a response until 30 min after the techs left. Small issue, but somewhat expected, since they provided it for their salesman.
They're suppose to be rtning in a week for a quality control check & to make sure the unit is operating properly.

John was amazing! Extremely professional and quick to get the job done. We had him change out some light switch boxes, install a bathroom and kitchen fixture, hall light, ceiling fan and rewired some circuits in our panel box outside. He even took the time to look at another future project and through out a quick estimate to complete it.
