GiBBY'S Plumbing Co., Service to TEXAS only

This father and son team aren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. They're here when they say they'll be here and are typically available sooner than most other companies. We had a gas leak in our fire place, gas company came and shut off the gas that night, the next morning Gibby's was able to be out here and fix it. We just had them help us with the plumbing in our bathroom. They come in and get the job done! My wife and I are very happy with them. We will continue to recommend them and hire them when we need this type of service.

Amazing service! I called and the owner was at my house within half an hour. He completely resolved the issue, replacing a broken piece of pipe.

I called early afternoon after trying to reinstall a toilet myself, but hitting a wall when I found the mounting plate to be disintegrated. The guys showed up about 40 minutes later and quickly went to work. They completed the job in about an hour, and everything looks great. The only reason for the 4-star rating was the price tag. I was charged $295 for a one hour job. Seems very expensive - I was told that was their standard job fee. Ouch! Well, had to be done, so I'm glad they did it. I'd only recommend you ask for a quote before getting work done so you don't get the shocker that I did...

We've gone through two other plumbers who did poor jobs before but were super cheap. We learned the hard way that you really do get what you pay for. People in other reviews might be complaining about the cost but you really get what you pay for. We have had two different jobs done by Gibby's and they are outstanding. They came in on the weekend twice and first fixed the last job our old plumber had messed up twice and then fixed a completely separate problem. I highly recommend Gibby's and cannot commend them enough for their professionalism and their work. Thanks again!

I've had Gibby's Plumbing to my house twice for complicated repairs and upgrades. They were prompt, friendly, and did excellent work. They even went so far as to go to the hardware store with me to offer advice on bathroom renovations. I'll continue to use them for all my plumbing needs.

I'm appalled by the difference in price from what was given verbally at the beginning of the repair than what is actually put on the receipt at the end! I highly suggest to get a written estimate before any work is started. We feel ripped off! We were charged over $150 in labor per hour and I WILL be sharing this on EVERY site that I can find to prevent the others from being taken advantage of!

* I will also point out to other consumers there is a previous review much like mine that was replied to by this company. I personally feel it was a retaliation rather than a solution to a customers issue. Feel how you want about it I thought it was unprofessional as well. This company may NOT charge by the hour and base their prices off other facts, but we as consumers need to be explained these at the time of charge, not after. Or we WILL base off hourly. In this case, I am basing it off off as hourly because I was not given a break down of price after being given a much more cheaper price verbally at the time of arrival.

This company is by far one of they best service we have used. It’s a company with great work, punctuality, and professionalism. Which are hard to come by. We have used Gibbys plumbing for more than one issue in different homes and are always satisfied with their work. They take pride in their work thus they do good work . Thank you gentlemen!!

Wow! The whole job was done within two hours from my first call to the completion of the job. They were very professional, even went to pick up the part from Lowe’s for me. They uninstalled and reinstalled a new garbage disposal flawlessly. I highly recommend these gentlemen.

I broke the copper pipe that comes out of the house for the back yard water hose. I made the mistake of having someone else fix initially that only charged $100. Big mistake. A week later I had a slow leak that was saturating the brick of the house. I called Gibby early on a Saturday and they got here within a couple of hours. Did a clean quality job in less time time than he estimated. Great Service!👍🏼

I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience with this company. Plumbing issues are so intrusive, but they quickly and efficiently fixed our problem. No headache whatsoever. They explained the issue, gave me some good tips, and quickly resolved the problem. These men have been in the business a long time, and it shows. They are local, professional, and trustworthy.

Horrible costumer service failed me twice to come out and give me a estimate. After making appointments with me. Used a excuse that they were busy doing other job.

Efficient and professional service. They arrived about 20 minutes after my call. They fixed a leaking toilet and shut off valve in roughly 30 min. I was shocked and upset though, by the bill of $285. The response was that they charge based on flat rate pricing. My mistake for not asking first. Do call and get an estimate before scheduling a service.

We just moved to our first home but the water heater's not working. The plumber we know flaked out a couple of times already and I did not want to wait for him again and be without hot water for the 6th day. I Googled and saw the good reviews for Gibby's. I called and told them what's going on and instead of pouncing on the opportunity to make money, they told me that we should still have warranty on our water heater unit and told me to call the 1-800 number. I did, and Rheem is sending us the parts FedEx Next Day. Thanks, Gibby's. We certainly appreciate you guys.

I found Gibby's Plumbing on internet search. Needed toilet, garbage disposal & few other pipes replaced. Spoke to Aaron & quickly setup appt. for service. On day of appt. they arrived on time, showed them areas of work and they quickly got to it. Within 2 hrs the whole project was completed! They were: Prompt, professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and clean. Reasonably priced for job performed. I would give them the highest marks for their work and also recommend them for any of their services. THEY ARE EXCELLENT!!!

I had a water pressure problem. Men from the Water company came twice and were unable to resolve the trouble. I called Gibby's Plumbing, and they took minutes to work out the issue. This was one of the most professional and kind businesses I’ve ever worked with. It’s a holiday weekend and our water heater was leaking everywhere. We had to shut the water main off to our home and Gibbys came out right away to help and install a new unit. They went above and beyond. Gibby's Plumbing Co. came by my house to repair a broken valve in my washing machine room and bypass an old water softener. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and did a first rate job. They are now my primary plumbers and I will be calling them if I need plumbing services again.

I called Gibby's Plumbing to address a few plumbing issues that had been lingering. They provided an estimate in advance (at my request) and fast, friendly, same day service.

I didn't have much interaction with them myself, but my wife said they were very polite, respectful, gentlemen (father-son team).

I'm not sure how competitive their prices are, as I didn't shop around and hadn't used a plumbing contractor in many years. I'm guessing I could have had the work completed for less, but these guys were fast, convenient, and provided great sevice

As for workmanship... well it's plumbing, it's difficult say, but everything works as it should, and the problems are resolved.

What can be measured is the service, which was excellent.

I'll use them again, and recommend them.

The owner and his son came to install a shut off valve and gas line for my new range. They were very punctual, communicative, respectful, and quick. They were having an issue getting the stove to slide into the safety bracket which was my issue to fix, but they wouldn't let it beat them. They went above and beyond what was asked of them. If you are looking for a quality job, this company is by far the one to go with. Yes, it is slightly more money, but if you are looking for a plumber that is going to do the job right these are the people for you. Quality service, friendly, thorough and everything you could want in a plumber.

I had a new sink and commode installed in my 1st floor restroom and a new commode installed in my upstairs restroom. Aaron, Gilbert, and Valentin are very personable and professional. Very happy with their work. My 1st floor restroom is a very small area to begin with, and the vanity sink I picked out at Lowe's worked perfectly. They strongly recommend Glacier Bay commodes and even helped me pick them out at Home Depot. I knew nothing about the quality of certain commodes, but Aaron took the time to explain all this. So far, very good quality commodes. Also, they are very punctual. If you say 9:00 am, they'll be there at 9:00 am, even earlier!!

Out of 10 Plumbers called......4 responded. 2 On time...and only one professional. It was a no brainer when you compare the job they did to the rest of the jobs I've seen around town.......They really now there stuff and are very professional. Ask for the hourly price before you hire this company. I received a $380 bill for unclogging a kitchen sink in probably less than 1hr.

Called them at 8:00 am to fix two sick toilets. They arrived at 9:15 am and fixed the problems promptly. Friendly and professional. Will definitely use again.
