I called roto Rooter to help unclog my drain. The technician was David Sierra. He was pleasant to talk to, honest, and communicative. If there were any future plumbing problems I would call and request for David again.

They got here in an hour as promised and fixed my toilet leak. Byron and the other gentleman that came with him (forgot his name) did a great job of informing of the issues, how they were going to fix it, and the cost.

Saso was amazing! I would recommend him and Roto-Rooter to everyone. Great service and went above and beyond.

Our dismay when water from an upstairs shower (not to mention every other drain in the house) started flowing out through a downstairs toilet was quickly allayed by Rotorooter's promise to have a technician at our house within two hours. They did that. And this on a weekend. The technician, Uni (it says A'ynis on the paperwork), was terrific. She was professional, friendly, very competent, and very efficient. She cleared the drain line quickly, and gave a clear and realistic description of options if the problem recurs. We recommend her and her company highly, and will not hesitate to call them next time we have problems.

On 6/30/22 I had a licensed plumber come out in the morning, he gave me a $100 quote. He did not have the right sized cable for my tub drain and said to call Roto-Rooter. Jesse from Roto-Rooter came out to give me a free estimate later that day. I told Jesse the tub drain was running slowly and had a cable tip in it. Jesse said he would run the cable to the mainline and give me a six month warranty, for $440 -$50 online coupon equals $390. I figured I had no choice but to have him do the job, since the other plumber couldn’t do it. Jesse was only able to get to the P-trap. He didn’t get out the cable tip. He then told me it would be the same price even though he did not go all the way to the main line and there would be no six month warranty. I said, I don’t think that’s fair, I should pay less because of not going in as far, not getting the cable tipped out and no warranty. He said, he would put a lien on my home. I said I think $100 is a fair price for the job. I ended up paying him $300 under protest. I am not a happy nor satisfied customer!

Contacted the local general manager Chris, who said I will give you a 30 day standard warranty, that was it, no price reduction!

Next I contacted Pat Swanson, customer service coordinator who said, “thanks again for reaching out, I’m sorry to hear that you were caught off guard by our pricing. The general manager has informed me that he and his team have reached out to explain our final decision on this matter. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund as we have confirmed that the correct price was charged for the work performed.”

I definitely felt overcharged and would not use them again nor recommend them!

I had two plumbing companies out who couldn't unclog our drains. The two abruptly decided they couldn't unclog the drain and gave solutions without proof. Decided to try RotoRooter and had Cris as our plumber. Cris is professional, concise, knowledgeable, and most importantly didn't shy away from trying to figure out the problem. Unfortunately, the clog and situation was not resolved but I at least had a plumber who didn't just drop everything and leave without giving a substantive roadmap for fixing the issue.

We recently had someone update our kitchen, who was great at making the counter and cabinets look nice, but was not skilled at plumbing and put everything back together improperly. Steven was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He walked us through every issue he found and clearly explained what needed to be fixed and replaced to get everything working properly again. He was efficient, timely and took extra steps to test everything when it was complete so ensure he was leaving everything in perfect working condition. I can't say enough good things about his work and his care in completing the job properly. John Sigler #7332 was very professional, he knew exactly what he was doing, he explained what and how he was going to perform his task. He went above and beyond to make sure faucets, spouts and drainage stoppers were installed properly. I highly recommend him if you have any plumbing issues.

The work performed was entirely satisfactory but exactly one week earlier, a different branch / technician under the same flag did exactly the same work in the adjacent property which I also own. ie clear bathtub and bathroom sink drains (hair clogs etc.). Last week’s price was 1/2 what I was charged this week. I got a call from the South LA branch manager who listened to my complaint but was not willing to adjust his price. Instead, he contended that the prior tech must’ve had a slow day so he undercharged me.

I thought rRoto Rooter was a dependable, well run organization where I could expect consistent pricing but this left me feeling like I’d been hoodwinked. Buyer beware.

Our plumber, Jason Wisneskie, was wonderful. He was professional, prompt, and efficient. He verified what the suspected problem was, and quickly mapped out the steps that led to a solution. I heartily endorse the service I received.

Technician Mike was prompt, courteous and efficient. No problem there. I was shocked at the price. Your competitor, Mike Diamond Plumbing advertises drain cleaning for $99.00. When Mike (Roto-Rooter) told me it would be $365.00, I felt like I was being held ransom. It needed to be done and he was here so we did it, but at those prices, I will not call Roto-Rooter again.

I had my shower backing up with water . The technician was professional and came in time. He worked really hard to fix the problem and then making sure that water is flowing without interruption from
Shower area. They are not the lowest in price quoted, however I would rate them highest in the quality and value of work , professionalism , knowledge in figuring out the issue and time of warranty provided which ensures that they are confident of their work and issue will not recur during that long period of warranty.

Steven came within 20 minutes of being called out to assess the cause of our flooded dining room. He persisted and explained all areas of the suspected leakage and why he was doing what he was doing. He finally found the source of our flood and was able to easily fix it. He was professional, communicative, and honest. He worked diligently to find the source of our leak. Highly recommend.

I had a Roto-Rooter plumber come out to fix my bathroom sink drain which was not draining. When the plumber arrived, he told me it would be $440. TO. SNAKE. A. DRAIN. I thought maybe there was more work that needed to be done, so I agreed. Nope. It took him all of 10 minutes to clear up the problem. When I complained about the cost/time ratio, he lowered it down to $380, which is still outrageous for the work that was done. I called their corporate number and asked for a price that was more commensurate for the work performed. They refused.

Still in disbelief about getting swindled by this company. Never again will I use them. Stay away!

Our toilet paper holder was accidently flushed and clogged. Since we only have one toilet, we called around 11pm - so grateful for the 24 hour service calls! Every now and then I have to get the sewage drain from my house to the street cleared of tree roots, and Roto Rooter has always done a fantastic job. The most recent technician to take care of this issue, Mike, was incredibly courteous, professional, and personable. He arrived on time and took care of the issue quickly. Would definitely recommend Roto Rooter for all plumbing needs, and cannot commend Mike enough for his positive attitude and workmanship.

He literally saved the day. My kitchen sink clogged at the worst moment. My husband was out of town and I was alone with my elderly father. I googled plumbers and clicked on a link. I’ve heard about roto rooter for years but never used them thinking they were very expensive.
The girl on the line said someone could come out right away but since it was late I decided to wait for the next day. Nicko showed up and in less than an hour he had finished the job, cleaned up after himself and my kitchen is back in action.
Oh and the cost was wayyyyy less than what I expected and they will come back within six months if the issue continues.

This company took advantage of my 73 year old mom and charged $500 to roto a clogged drain.

I had a technician come to clear a main line stoppage. He was unable to get it out, but ensured we had a camera guy on his way to find the issue. Both technicians remained at my home and went the extra mile to ensure we were clear and had a clear drain. The value was great for the amount of time spent at my house by two people and the same day service.

Tony Rodriguez came w Jacob today. We had major sewer back up. They were very professional solving the issues and explaining the root problems. They went above and beyond- these guys take some pride in making sure the job is well done and satisfaction is felt. Really appreciate it!

Ask for Stephen when you set up an appointment. My house was built in 1922 and has its share of quirks. Stephen worked tirelessly, lugging his heavy equipment from the first floor to the second floor to the basement and back to the 2nd floor until the clog was found and removed. He was very personable and professional and also very helpful in educating me each step of the process. I
highly recommend his expertise and energy no matter the age of your house, but particularly if it's as old as mine.

$350 very pricy for simple Roto Rooter job which took about one hour.
The price we paid was to replace the old smelly P-Trap with the new one, instead he used same old one cleaned it with the paper towel. Smell is back.. Not satisfied sorry to say.

A different plumbing company came to my home in the morning and was unable to resolve a toilet issue. I made an appointment with Roto Rooter and they arrived at my home within 2 hours of the appointment being scheduled. Uni was very professional and explained the process and cost to resolve the toilet issue. I agreed to proceed and she worked quickly and diligently to do the job, which included removing the toilet, clearing the lines, and remounting the toilet. She also cleaned and disinfected the bathroom area when she finished, which was very nice. I highly recommend Uni and Rooter Rooter for plumbing needs.

John who was called out by my son was very prompt. He was extremely professional, curious and felt vey comfortable with his experience and knowledge. Followed all CDC Regulations as I am a Stage 4 Metastatic Terminal Breast Cancer Patient. I couldn’t have asked for more from my Serviceman John.
