I had used Electric Man 2 years ago to replace a ceiling fan when the motor died. Well the same fan broke again so I called ElectricMan back cause they were good and fair priced previously. I confirmed that the price would be similar to what I paid before people to scheduling. The scheduler confirmed prices had increased slightly but it wouldn't be much more than the $350 including tax I had paid 2 years ago. When the 2 technicians arrived they quoted $615 for the work (when the bid came via email later the price was changed to $675). I told them what the scheduler had shared and they seemed annoyed (Daniel) and said that Brian who had done the work before was taller than them and had a better ladder (they thought the ceiling was 24ft but I've since confirmed it's 18ft). They called their manger to see if anything could be done. He told them not to charge the service fee and to leave. I called and talked with Whit, the operations manager, who did apologize and explained they did the job 2 years ago for too little and their costs had also increased. That's fine but I shouldn't have been misled into taking an afternoon off work expecting a similar price only to still have no working ceiling fan. He credited my account with $99 should I ever risk using them again. I don't think it likely as a couple phone calls later and I have a new electrician scheduled to do the same work for $200 in a couple of days.

Daniel was great- showed up right on time and was extremely helpful. I had called thinking an outlet didn’t work after a power outage, and maybe my disposal was blown. He showed me how to fix the disposal myself in the future, and no repairs were needed. But due to the age of my electric panel he recommended a surge protector for it, which he installed.

The service technician called while enroute, gave his arrival time, after arrival he assessed the situation, explored a variety of fixes and, with a new experience for me, actually left the house to purchase the necessary supplies. Importantly, he tried a variety of fixes in the attempt to keep our costs lowered. Dan is very knowledgeable and kept me aware of my alternatives as he progressed in his analysis.Not cheap, but, if you want the job done correctly, he is well worth the money.

Scheduled a Saturday appointment, Before he arriveed Daniel called to provide his ETA. Daniel called to let me know he arrived right after the start of the 12PM-4PM promised time frame. My technician Mariano G was very professional and helpful throughout his time working at my home. I had a bad electrical wire cable connected from my breaker to my AC unit outside - causing my AC unit not to run in 100 degree heatAa. Have used them twice now.The good: the quality of work is good and done efficiently - Daniel did both my calls and the subsequent referral I gave them down the street. Staff are friendly (both service and administrative) and knowledgeable.The bad: you’re going to pay for it. Was charged $475 today for a what ended up being a really simple fix (2 outlets and 1 GFCI replaced, no covers included, no system level work). Was done in less than 30 minutes and materials for that are not expensive.I understand paying for someone’s expertise, but this felt exorbitant. I’m unsure if I’ll be using them again. Pricing would need to be more in line with the job scope (which you have no way of knowing in advance of incurring costs because of the $99 show-up fee).TLDR: decent quality work, but you’re going to pay for it (likely above market).

Very pleased with the service I've received from ElectricMan and their team members. I greatly appreciated that Brian explained the fan I had originally purchased to replace my bedroom fan was a drop mount rather than a flush mount like what was currently in the room. Switching a flush mount fan for a drop fan would have resulted in a hole being visible. Over the weekend I exchanged my fan for a flush mount and now it looks perfect, no hole visible! Thank you!

On short notice they were able to accommodate me by sending Brian F. The problem was outlets in two rooms not having electricity. On the main panel outside the house no breakers were off. Previously I've had two electricians one service everyone is familiar with on television come to fix the problem the other electrician was a license electrician in the neighborhood. But in both of these prior instances the problem was never resolved, so I was perplexed, I'm stuck dealing with this situation over the last two years as the problems were intermittent. When the problem resurfaced again yesterday, I knew who not to call but I didn't know who to call. I searched for an electrical company in the area and found ElectricMan, and I'm glad that I did. Calling around 2: 20 in the afternoon they said they would do their best to accommodate me that day, Brian F. Called me at 2:50 p.m. saying he was about 10 minutes away. Brian arrived at 3:00 p.m. and started to assess the situation immediately. In 15 minutes Brian had made three trips to the fuse box, I checked all the outlets and switches in five rooms. He found the short in a guest room closet. He fixed wobbly light in the closet and put all the covers back on the switches and outlets by 3:35 he was finished, and everything was working. I couldn't believe his efficiency and knowledge tracing all these circuits and fixing a problem where two other companies spent a lot more time and we're unsuccessful before. So I would definitely rank ElectricMan as I go to source if you want the problem fixed quickly and correctly at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone with an electrical problem, I believe they would be very pleased with the outcome of the service they received from EletricMan just as I was.

I love electric man. I’ve used themBefore and they were always great. I did a remodel of my house and ended up with no power in the bedroom. I called my American home shield warranry company who sent A to Z electric. After waiting 6 hours, the tech didn’t want to do the job. Said I had to break a wall. Anyway, I called electric man. They came on time and diagnosed and fixed the problem the same day without breaking walls. Then came and replaced a ceiling fan first thing the next morning. Awesome! Fair prices too

I call them for an electrical issue in one of the roomsAfter diagnose I been told is one of the wall outlets that is burn ($1.50 part )The repair price requested was ($365.80)I told the guy who diagnose that I will no go further with that price and I will pay for the service call ($100)So he got all irritated and I ask him to put all back as he find it but he won’t !He just push the wires back into the wall and left .I ask him to install the plug back and leave it as it was when he cameHis answer was “no I am not going to put it back bcs you don’t want to fix it “well then why do they charge diagnose fee separate ?I do have a choice to use them or not after all !!!Anyway I pay the 100 $ but just so you know this guys are in the repo business when they charge $365 to replace a wall outlet!!!Strongly recommend shopping around and avoid their service if possible ,!Not a good attitude or ethics comes from them

James was outstanding. He went above and beyond. Long story short we got a new dishwasher installed, but the old one was hardwired in so we needed a plug installed. The dishwasher installation folks screwed in the dishwasher and my boyfriend was out of town in business. Let me tell y’all I’m a 23 year old prone clutz. James came in and moved the dishwasher out installed a plug and put the dishwasher into realize it was sticking out. So he went to get a recessed plug (which is an awesome new thing I just found out). He didn’t have one on his truck and went to Home Depot to buy one. I called for an estimate for replacing a bad breaker and some outside light fixtures that were not working. I did not feel confident the person they sent could handle the job. The estimate was ridiculously high and they charged me $59.00 to come and do the estimate. Please do not ever pay anyone to give yo an estimate on work, like I did, stupid on my part. I got two other FREE estimates after that and got all the work I needed done for less than half the price quoted by ElectricMan. I would not waste my time with this company unless you just like giving money away.

I had a very nice service guy and when I called for an appointment, was told they were squeezing me in the next day so was thrilled for next day service. Long story short, my wiring in my old town home took him 1.5 hrs to find the problem and luckily didn't need anything major to fix. The only thing I would beware of is to watch the time. I was charged from 12-2:30, but I didn't meet him at my house until 12:05 and he was done by 2:20, so I felt that I was charged about 15 mins too long, which when you're looking at $100 per hour, adds up. He handed me the bill at 2:25 and when I asked about prorating since wasn't yet 2:30, he looked at me as if I was being petty.

Electric Man is still my “go to” for electrical work. It had been a while since I had the need to call Nick and his staff at Electric Man so I was hopeful that nothing had changed. Thank goodness that although some of the faces have changed, Nick is still the ElectricMan and runs a tight ship. We had some highly difficult and unusual lighting to be installed that required quite a bit of extra work and a couple of trips to get them installed properly. I would like to share my happiness with the service I received from ElectricMan inc. Electric Panel behind the meter on the outside wall for a 30+ year old condo was not available to buy and replace from electric equipment store in DFW. Nick, the master electrician, was able to find the part, replace it with his dedicated electricians on a freezing rainy day. In case anyone wants to really know how the pricing works at least for a situation similar to mine$59 gets you 30 minutes of diagnostic$149 (per hour)for extended diagnosing of problemsWhen all is said and done they had tier packages for their serviceat least 5 of them ranging from band-aid and yes it was actuallylabeled band aid in the tier list to platinum package. Costing $1000+ to $2000+. to which I said no thanks you can find a tradesmanfor a fraction of the cost.the one star is of course for the nice electrician not the company he works for.

After I failed at resurrecting a broken GFCI outlet outside, I called Electric Man for help. Their phone respondant talked me through a few ideas for troubleshooting until we both agreed a pro needed to see what crazy shenanigans was going on in my electrical system.The scheduler informed me that the cost was $159 for rolling the truck and $55 for every 30 minutes after the first 30.A team of 2 arrived and informed me it was $55 per person per 30 minutes, so that miscommunication was the only bad mark I can hold against them.The team quickly resolved my problem, helped tear up some rotted wiring that was causing the problem, and went out of their way to briefly help me - a new homeowner - patch the external wall with some steel wool and caulk.Just beware of pricing, but otherwise they are very nice and efficient. The job I spent an entire weekend trying to solve took them 50 mins.

Awesome! Initial phone contact was with the owner. He actually made suggestions for me to try that would not require a service call. But, I needed a service call anyway. Isaac came on time and quickly found and fixed my problem. He then gave me an estimate for replacing an old PFE circuit breaker box. We scheduled the work and, just as before, the technicians, Benjamin and Nico, arrived on time. They answered my questions, explained what they were doing and why; and in general focused on doing a professional job.I commented that I liked the way the wires were arranged and routed. Benjamin responded that he liked for his work to look good, even though it would be covered up by sheet rock and the circuit box cover because he wanted to alway be proud of what he did.And when the work was finished, the final bill was less than the original estimate!

I had a loose breaker and called ElectriMan. Mike was very helpful and arranged to come within 24 hours. The day of the service he called 30 minutes before to let me know that he was on his way and not only showed up on time, but early!!!! What service!!! Had an issue with my electricity not working in my living room out of the blue; after using an outside GFI I lost power on one leg of a dual pole circuit breaker. Called and spoke with Nick and he walked me thru checking power on each beaker. After showing that each breaker had power he instructed me on the next step. After trying what he had instructed me to do and not getting resolution I called him back and he informed me on the next steps. None of these resolved the issue so I continued to work backwards after a 3rd call. Once I isolated the issue, a GFI in the bathroom which was wired I corrected I changed the wiring, putting all the wires in the load side so that when the bathroom GFI did it's job it wouldn't cause loss of power in the living room.I called Nick back and informed him that he had solved my problem and thanked him for troubleshooting my problem over the phone and saving me significant $$$.I can't thank him enough for all his guidance and direction at no charge. Any future electrical issues will be sent to him and his company as they are honest and willing to help when we are at our most vulnerable.I highly recommend Nick and his company for ANY and ALL your electrical needs. Paid 235.00 to fix 2 foundation lights. They took off my covers and left the bulbs exposed. I complained and they also tried to charge me more than what was quoted but I made him show me his I pad. He was wrong. They sent someone else out and they just changed a bulb. I said you guys just do not seem to know what your doing. They left. My foundation lights are on all different times of the day now as well. They did nothing to help me Only made them worse at a cost of 235.00

In a world where you never know who's going to show up or even if they will, when you call for any type of service, it's great to know that there are still some real professionals out there.
