I called to get service after 6pm on a Thursday night and spoke with a great receptionist. She dispatched someone to come out for service the very next day and they arrived at 8am. My electrician's name was Jay. Jay was on time, thorough, answered all of my questions, and even went above and beyond to offer expert advice even though he was there to make an EV charger installation. He was upfront about charges so that nothing came as a surprise. He took the amount of time to complete the job that he said he would. A+. HIGHLY recommend! Painless experience.

Had a great experience with Mr. Electric. Communication on the phone to schedule appointment was top-notch. They texted me immediately to Technician’s faces so I knew who exactly was coming our facility, and when they will be there .They sent out the technician he was on site in less than 45 minutes. Definitely recommend Philip Christensen he was very thorough and professional. It’s nice to see great communication, fast response and a fair price. Customer for life.

The technician Carlos was very knowledgeable and capable. Felt like i was in good hands from the beginning. I called numerous companies to get a tech on the weekend and Mr. Electric was the only one out of them that was available. Refrigerator was down until this was fixed so this was important to get it repaired timely. Thankful Mr. Electric was able to service my home quickly. Will certainly call them first if i have any problems in the future.

Without a doubt the technician provided us with quality service. We thought the price was a little high but was still good value for the money. Since sparks and fire had been shooting from that outlet. He calmly explained what we needed to do to prevent future reoccurrences and seemed sincere and caring about it.

I paid $420 for a double 20 circuit breaker replacement to give you an idea of prices. That's with a 10% discount. Eventually found out after the install, the problem wasn't the circuit breaker. Make sure you get a second opinion before going here or be at peace with what you pay and get. They were really quick to respond. My electrician said that he charges $400 per hour with a minimum charge of one hour.

I called because our detectors are on Very high ceilings and Wrongly assumed the job only simply replacing batteries. The alarm unit had to be replaced due to age. Service was good but price $100 @ unit versus $11 @ for batteries was a Serious SHOCK.

Our fridge breaker went out 2 days before Christmas, I called to get someone out. I spoke with Jessica and she was so nice and helpful! Travis was out shortly and had everything repaired in less than 3 hours! Such a nice guy and such a great company. HIGHLY recommend! Great electricians are hard to come by and they are 5 star.

Called Mr. Electric this morning when some of our lights wouldn't turn on even after resetting the circuits in the circuit box. Technicians Dylon Murphy & Jay Weaver came in just a few hours after the initial call. They were professional, courteous and explained everything that they were doing. After a few hours of the initial testing, there ended up being a bigger issue with a wire, and Dylon and Jay gave/explained to us the potential options to remedy the issue and different costs. They were incredibly kind in explaining the problem in a way we could understand, and giving us their professional advice. They remedied our issue after some additional work and we are very appreciative of their service. Would recommend Dylon and Jay to anyone who has electrical issues. Thanks!

Beware of the UpsaleSuper expensive. Got three bids for a project they came in at 5400 dollars and everybody else under 2,000. Parts prices on invoice are 3 times what the prices is a standard home improvement store. Technician attempted to get a ton of stuff replaced rather than using what was in good shape. The electrician told me a list of thing i would have to do to get it up to just passing inspection. I guess he didn’t believe me when I called my friend at the city inspection code office.He told me that the board was in good shape and the only repair needed was to outside masthead wiring. Good thing I did. I’ll won’t even bother to call them on the next three projects I have to do.

Excellent service from start to finish for our project. The company sends out incompetent technicians. Tried to simply get a quote for a generator install. The tech that came did not understand the job. Gave incorrect information. Never provided even a quote. In trying to get in touch with someone at their office, George Dupont manager called me but I tried to call back 5 different times, never answer. WHen finally spoke was less than helpful. When I tried to explain the insanity I had experienced with the company. Became defensive, stated it was being talked about internally and then said they did not want my job. All I ever did was try to get a quote to install a generator. Terrible company. DO NOT USE.

We had called them first thing in the morning and they came out that same day in I got a morning slot. I for plenty of notice via text, email, and call. We were very impressed with our electrician and even got his business card so we can request him for future products! Everything was very professional and done in a timely manner. We would highly highly recommend them! Great communication and timing was amazing!

Got ripped off. Paid for over priced ower surge protector but the electrician installed a cheaper power s surge protector. Electrician said there was 5year warranty on the expensive power surcharge protector but turned out to be limited warranty. Be careful with the company! Very shady and dishonest electrician!!

Smoke alarms went off all throughout the house and they would not stop. Had a response from Collins from Mr. Electric within 1 hour and he stopped them and installed new detectors. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Great quick service.

Charge me $600 to replace a fuse in my fuse box then try to sell me another item he was pushing was a box outside he wanted to sell me for 7000 next day I got up call another electrician they replace another fuse that went out charge me 125 so one charge me 604 a fuse the other one 125 now which one would you use

Absolutely recommend this company! We have 9 locations and we were in need of an electrician for a lighting outage in one of our stores. Phil was great... very professional and informative. The team was on time, communicated their arrival times and very responsive. While working in the laundry room they did do some damage to the dryer. They immediately notified me and then discussed how I'd like them to handle it. Since the machine was brand new I asked to get it repaired, which they agreed to. The office has handled things perfectly so far. I own a service company and quite frankly am impressed on how they handled the tough things... like handling the damage. Great job and I will be using them again as I am renovating my house.

One of my living room outlets started making crackling sounds like it was going to erupt in fire. Finally I got my fire extinguisher and used it. Then I called Mr. Electric Dallas and they sent Cash right out! He calmed me. Turned off the power. Identified the problem. Fixed it! Showed me how to turn the power off and on for next time. He was Wonderful. So nice and really knowledgeable! I will definitely use them again!

Jeremiah was absolutely awesome to work with. He was very professional; fast, efficient and informative on the best way to install and run the conduits he needed to run. I had Mr. Electric hang a couple of very big expensive light fixtures for me. They did an awesome job. Also they were available to come at my first convenient time window - so no long wait time. Kasibu was the installer - super capable and polite. He even went out to buy parts that I was missing for the fixture. He was quick and on time and he did the fixtures with no trouble. Just what I was looking for. Also they stuck exactly with the initial quote they gave me, and I thought the amount was reasonable.

Needed a worn out breaker replaced. Mr. Electric sent Clint out and he diagnosed the problem and had the parts on-hand and ready. Was in and out in probably 30 minutes and everything works fine so far. The visit fee was also cheaper than other electricians I contacted about the problem.

I consider myself to be fairly handy, but there's definitely a time and place to call in the professionals. When my wife and I needed some help finalizing electric on a kitchen remodel in our home, we decided the job was best handled by professionals.Mr. Electric was able to get someone to my house the next day to give us a quote, and then return later in the week to complete the job. Both John and Godfrey worked quickly, and communicated with me throughout the job if they had any questions or concerns. I called and they were here within an hour or so, right on time. They figured out the problem (i had requested two fixtures to be fixed, but I ended up only needing one thanks to their honesty), told me the price, and had it fixed within 30-45 minutes. Plus they were friendly and knowledgeable.

Chase was great he repaired my breaker circuit and hooked up my hot tub. Was easy to communicate with and got the job done fast and easy I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them in the future.

The service guys were nice, but the price was robbery. I stupidly paid over $1,700 to have two NEMA 14-50 outlets installed in the garage. One was installed on the same wall and one on the other. This increases the price I do know this. However, we had a NEMA 14-50 installed at another property by another company and had the line run under the length of the house and through an exterior wall and it was a quarter of the price. there is no logical explanation as to the $1,700 price other than I was taken advantage of. I could have two of those run through the underside of a house and still barely get to HALF of the price Mr Electric charged for the garage install. They sent an email about feedback and I responded saying I felt like I was taken advantage of and would like be contacted. They never contacted and so I decided to leave a review. HAVE MORE THAN ONE COMPANY GIVE YOU A QUOTE BEFORE USING THEM. They did good work, but will take advantage of you. The service guy kept trying to upsell me on a surge protector for the breaker box for an additional $400 or something. Scammy and over priced.Update: still have never received a response or a reply from them about pricing justifications. Probably because they know I am correct in that they took advantage and don’t have anything to say about it. A friend almost used them for a larger job and I advised against it. Their loss I guess.

I needed an electrician out, the same day, to fix a condition in the attic that my ac company could not continue to work on. I called Mr. Electric and someone was out within a few hours. The service professional, Clint, did an excellent job in finding the issue and also in showing me the problem. He had it fixed in a reasonable amount of time and also showed me an issue which would need to be taken care of in the near future. I would certainly use Mr. Electric again. Also, courteous and prompt.

Positive they came fastNegative they charged me $360 for a part that cost $60. The technician claimed he didn’t know how much the part would cost at a store. He was already there and I had a lot to do, so I just let him do the work. When I asked him at the end about how to do the work he gave me a curt non answer. Then I looked the part up on Home Depot, $57. The whole visit to just replace a single circuit breaker was $410 - insane.

We know from past experience that electric work can be a bit pricey especially when the electrician has to install lighting where there are no existing light fixtures. We were super excited about the new customer discount Mr. Electric gave us as first time customers!!! Our technician was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in answering all of our questions without pressuring us to sign on. He did a great job installing our new over-the-bar pendant lighting. The only way to make the experience better would have been to avoid having to have the extra cut out that's covered with the plate but alas, it is what it is. All and all great work and we love the finished product!

Had Phil Christensen come out to do a site survey for the installation of our new whole home generator. His quote was competitive with another we had received. He was clearly familiar with installing those, and was able to guide us on a number of considerations. While he was here, I told him what I had done to diagnose a garage door opener. Although Mr Electric doesn't work on garage door openers he helped narrow the diagnosis down to the wiring. Everything up to this point was no charge, probably because I'd made it clear that I'd be using them for the generator installation, which is a $5K+ project.He came out a week later to repair the wiring issue, and was able to further refine the diagnosis in a way that allowed him to quickly resolve our garage door opener issue without having to punch 2-4 holes in our garage walls(our garage door opener was installed when the home was built, and the wiring runs in the walls) as he originally thought would be required.We'll be using Mr Electric in the future, my wife is a real estate agent, and she'll be recommending them to clients.

The tech, Carlos, installed 2 Ring security cameras. One for the front of the house and one for backyard. He updated my Ring account to the new cameras. I had also had problems with not hearing the Ring doorbell from the back part of the house. He had told me what to buy. The stores didn't have one. I had to order online. He helped with that too. He was a very helpful, knowledgeable young man. Thank you, Carlos.

This company is the most unprofessional entity that I have ever dealt with. I had a simple job that I wanted to contract out, changing out a doorbell transformer. After calling around I decided to go with Mr. Electric because of their good reviews and fast appointment time. I was told that there would be a electrician to give me an estimate and do the job if I agree to it the next day, between 8am- 12pm.Too good to be true.The company was amazing at first. The next day I received a call around 10am notifying me that the electrician was running behind and wouldn't be there until after noon. No big deal, stuff happens and I had taken the whole day off so a couple of extra hours wouldn't hurt. Around 1pm I received another call from Mr. Electric. Apparently another customer took precedent over me and needed to have the whole power restored to their house... Ok. Is there only one electrician for your entire company? Is there no way to get someone to cover this territory since new customers are not important to you? Is this how every customer is treated? The only thing I was offered was to reschedule. No thanks, not with a company that doesn't value my time.I would not trust this company to plug in a blender.

Fantastic customer service from start to finish. I have had them out twice. Made appointments online and by call. Both super easy and friendly service! Tech arrives in the time window given and we received a call prior to ensure you are home in time. Tech knew his stuff and did the work quick and efficiently. So happy with the first call out that we called them back again.

To my surprise, I got an appointment on the very same day. John showed up on time and was friendly. Took him literally a minute to diagnose the problem and he fixed it right away. A falling branch pulled the outer power box away from my house. I'd had the box reattached, but was having issues with the city turning the power back on and was advised I needed a permit through a contractor in order to schedule a safety inspection with the city (convoluted I know). I called Mr. Electric for help, who dispatched an electrician the same day to my house. That electrician informed me that I basically needed to redo the entire electrical system of my 100 year old house to pass this safety inspection. I was provided with an estimate totaling $5000 for all of the services I was assured absolutely needed to be done to pass this inspection. Thankfully, I got a second opinion. The next electrician told me that I actually needed no work done, and advised me to call the city and explain the situation more thoroughly to get the permit myself and the inspection scheduled. I called the city and got the inspection scheduled, and I passed. I had zero additional work done and spent no money thanks to the kind second electrician I dealt with, when Mr. Electric had told me I needed $5000 worth of work done. This felt opportunistic as they I knew I was in a crunch dealing with the city, and frankly seems fraudulent. Had I not gotten a second opinion I would have spent $5000 when I actually needed to spend $0. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Used Mr. Electric to troubleshoot an open neutral circuit. The technician (Junior) was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Worked deftly through the issue and resolved the matter to my satisfaction. Would recommend this service provider to anyone without hesitation.

Jr and his helper (sorry I don’t remember his name) did the electrical work for our pool. They were polite, very professional and well kempt. They worked with us to get the best installation price for what we needed. Their work was excellent.

Their service was almost $700 cheaper AFTER including surge protection and an exhaust fan that the first company didn't include in their quote. Great professionalism from the front office (Desiree, Terry), and electrician -Nathan. Installation of a Google Doorbell and replaced and installed six new smoke detectors. Had the work completed in roughly 3 hours which included a trip to Home depot for supplies. Fair pricing and honest people to do work with. Recommended to anyone needing electrical work in and around the metroplex.

Went with Mr. Electric to replace my 1970's electric panel in my garage with a complicated grounding task, and to run a new conduit to my pool pump. I had about 5 electricians come take a look, and Kirk Browder and Tynus gave me a complete breakdown of what was needed and an incredibly competitive price. They completed the job in less than a day and everything was working great. I am more than satisfied

We’ve used Mr. Electric on three separate occasions for upgrading interior lights, switches and wiring, installing GFCI outlets and correcting non working switches and plugs in our 1950’s home. Their technicians are experienced, friendly and always on-time. It’s easy to re-book the same technician who is familiar with the inner workings of our home. We’ll definitely continue using Mr. Electric for our home electrical needs.

I placed a service call for a simple inspection of a switch I was concerned was shorting and replacement of another switch. In all, the tech recommended replacing another switch as well and handed me an estimate for $659.That’s right: two switches and an inspection of another switch for $659.I said, “no thanks”.He then offers to do the job for $412.Again, I say, no thanks.He makes a final offer of $179 to replace a switch and inspect the other for a short and I agree. In the end, he didn’t even have the switch (his dispatch said they carry inventory that they guarantee- they offer no guarantee/warranty on switches you provide them from Home Depot), so we accomplished little more than inspecting a light switch for $179. I guess he could tell how disappointed I was and ended up charging my card for $120.Make no mistake, Mr. Electric is very friendly. However, haggling with their tech over a $659 gouge is frustrating- and I STILL have to have another electrician out to have this switch replaced.

Mr. Electric of Dallas service was great I give them a thumbs up. I received a text picture of the person who was coming to my house. He was very professional. The tech repaired a plug and replaced wiring in my hot water heater. Also checked my breaker box. I'm very pleased with Mr. Electric of Dallas service.

I decided not to have a ceiling fan and a pendent light installed. The $750 price the technician gave me was borderline price gouging! The electrician Union rate is approximately $32 an hour. If Mr. Electric doubled their rate , and charged a minimum of 5 hrs work, it still doesn't come to $750. This is why I wanted an estimate up front. I would have never even wasted my time and money to give y'all a second look. Never again. I will make sure everyone I know is aware of your exorbitant cost for something so basic.

Mostly positive experience with a much longer timeline than I expected.I had a few well known electrical companies and one independent electrician provide quotes on a project to install a 60A sub-panel in a small backyard workshop. The cost to have an electrical company dig a 100' trench for the conduit was a tad bit outrageous ($1600 - $3500 for the trench), so I outsourced that part to a local contractor to save some money. After the trench was dug, Mr. Electric started work in early December and installed the sub-panel in less than a day, which was fantastic.I called the day after the work was completed to ask about the timing of the inspection and was told that they would handle it and get back to me. I didn't think much of it and left on vacation for a week. Called them again in late December and was told that they were working on it and that technically they had 6 months to complete the inspection. I'm not sure who would be OK with that kind of delay, but I certainly couldn't wait that long to forge ahead with my project. I gave it another week for them to schedule and called back again, this time strongly insisting that they send out the master electrician and inspector as soon as possible. Busy schedules pushed out the inspection two weeks and the inspection passed on the second attempt.Start to finish, it took 7 weeks to install the sub-panel and have it inspected. We were dealing with the holiday period and I'm sure a very booked schedule from the City of Dallas and Mr. Electric, so I'm sure that had something to do with the delays. With that said, I hope the company is able to provide more expediency with scheduling their inspections for future customers.Cheers,-Kevin

Called to get a quote to change out the old Federal Pacific Electric 125 amp breaker panel, and replace it with new 200 amp model. Mr. Electric tech Cody came out next day to assess the situation. Determined the need to change panel and scheduled the change out. Had to coordinate with Oncor to disconnect/ reconnect . Also contacted the City for a permit, all done smoothly. Change was done in one day and electricity was on the next day. Very professional and job done well with good quality components.

I have had experience with both Collins and Junior with Mr. Electric. Their communication is excellent, they respond lightening fast, and their quality of work is excellent. Mr. Electric will continue to be my go-to for electrician needs!

Everyone associated with this business is polite, friendly, professional, competent and efficient. I had three circuits in my store that were not functioning. The technician was dispatched almost immediately and was at my store within an hour or so. I showed hime the three circuits that were either completely dead or tripping breakers and he went to work fixing them all in under two hours. The only part that I didn't like (and, in full disclosure, the tech told me BEFORE he started any work) was that they charged a large (albeit all-inclusive) fee just to show up and troubleshoot. TROUBLESHOOT AND PROVIDE DIAGNOSTICS FOR UP TO 8 DEVICE OPENINGS OR BOX (DOES NOT INCLUDE REPAIR) was $645.16 plus tax. (They were nice enough to waive the $39.95 trip fee). The work was performed to satisfaction with no additional charges and I may consider using them again; but, I thought >$320/hour for a 1-man crew was a bit pricey.

An outlet for a new dishwasher was installed. The wiring also required pigtailing.

Prices were way to high. Technician came to my home and quoted $450+ tax to replace a ceiling fan. Nothing special, no rewiring. Courteous service but EXTREMELY expensive. $381 for 90 mins of work and replacement of one outlet. When he gave me the quote at first he said it would be $690. I said sorry but he had to go. He then said he could charge less. Then quoted the $380 and it would be less of it was an easy job. I agreed since I did not think it was going to take too long. Sure enough 90 minuets later he was ready to walk out the door and ready to charge me almost $400. He said it wasn’t that easy to fix.Goodbye mr electric don’t come back.

I called cause my AC was out and the switch that turn it on had melted. So, it was an emergency. Advertising only says 24 hours emergency electrician. I filled out a form online and also called and left a VM. It took over 2 hours to get a call back. I would otherwise give a perfect 5-star but for that. If you advertise that you provide emergency services, then you should return calls ASAP.
