This is our second time (for different reasons) having El Paso Appliance Repair fix our dryer. George was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We have had no issues. I recommend them 100% and will keep using them whenever I have issues with my appliances. Thank you for such great service.

After I woke to my water heater leaking on a Saturday morning, they weren quick to help unlike all of the other companies I called. They're super polite and pleasant. I will gladly hire them again and I recommend them to family/friends.

I would HIGHLY recommend El Paso Appliance repair. Being a military spouse whose husband is deployed, I was so skeptical about who I could trust to not charge me an arm and a leg. Everyone we dealt with was amazing and did not stop until the job was done. From talking to Gabby on the phone to Saul and George’s amazing work ethic. They made sure to not give up until we figured out what the problem with the dryer was. By the time George had completed the job, I felt as if he were a family friend and had treated us as if he had known us a long time. They are extremely affordable and you’d be crazy not to choose them for all your repair needs. I hope we have no more problems with appliances but if we did, I would call them again in a heartbeat.

I had scheduled an appointment with George between 9 and 11. The receptionist called at 9:15 and said that George was running late and would be there closer to 11:30. I was fine with, whats a half an hour, no big deal. I tried calling at 12:30 to find out if something happened, I left a message. I called again at 1:30, no answer. I called again at 2:30, no answer. No one ever showed up, no one called, I wonder if they are going to try showing up tomorrow. Unfortunately looks like I need to find a new repair company.

Called regarding refrigerator service. Received a call back very quickly and was able to get an appointment the same day. Communication was excellent and service completed at very reasonable price. Would definitely use again!

I’ve tried to book an appointment with this company and they did not show up twice. When they tried to reschedule a third time I just booked someone else. You cannot call to reschedule the appointment at the time of the appointment! I took time off work to have a technician come out and look at my fridge only to waste time and have no one show up. Very disappointed.

Always great communication from George and the team. Highest quality work and a great price. The best part is if any issues arise they are taken care of quickly. Feels nice to have El Paso business actually value customers!

Was hesitant to call a place that isn’t a Best Buy or Sears (rip) but these guys were fast and very friendly with always being in contact with you. They text to let you know your appointment call you to let you know they at eon the way or in my case called to see if they can come earlier and not just show up! Fair priced too

This guy was awesome! Called him this morning for my stove that had a gas leak, showed up on time, made the repair and was extremely affordable! Very professional and even looked at my other troublesome appliances. I highly recommend this guy for anyone with appliance repair needs!

This is a review based on my opinion on the service I believe I received. The folks I spoke to over the phone were very polite and professional.

First experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Bad feedback after diagnosis was done on water heater. Worst yet I initially advised that I would still like the repair done, but never received a follow up call and didn't answer my calls.

Receive a concerned call about review as always very polite and asked if anything could be done to win me over. Unfortunately, the heater has been repaired by another company. I must say I was never charged for the trip when the diagnostic was done so there's that.

I have very few moments I can recall in where I am speechless, and my entire experience with El Paso Appliance Repair has done just that. From the phone call all the way through to them getting my fridge fixed, the experience was flawless and amazing. They made everything so easy and effortless. I can't thank them enough! Great people. Very friendly and helpful. They had my issue diagnosed and fixed in five minutes. I learned the company owner is also former military which is a plus for me.

El Paso Appliance was able to schedule me within 24 hours. Great communication on a time frame when technician would arrive. He arrived and explained what was wrong and was able to fix my freezer (whirlpool appliance - freezer at bottom of the fridge). When making the appointment, their fees were explained. And again prior to the work being done. Great price and my appliance is fixed. Highly recommend.

They sent a knowledgeable repair person, paying for service was very convinient, my only negative was that it took 3 weeks for the part to come in. He knew what he was doing and they followed through with the call.

We have called EP Appliance several times for various repair jobs. Refrigerator as well as air conditioning problems. All three times we have had courteous, excellent service. I would highly recommend Ruben and George to my friends and neighbors and will call them again when/if the need arises.

AWFUL service. The owner George ordered a part for my washer and finally came out to install it after I called several times asking for the part. The issue remained unresolved so he came out a second time and charged again claiming to have fixed it. I called several times and he didn't answer until I called from a different number. Needless to say he said he would be here 3 days ago and I haven't heard from him and he doesn't answer phone. He proptly cashed the checks though.

My washer broke and my dryer was squeaking so i called these guys. They came 2 days later and fixed everything. They were very professional and told me the price of everything before doing any of the work. I would call them again in a heartbeat!

I received fine service from El Paso Appliance Repair. George Smith, their service repairman, was very gentlemanly. He had a kind winsome attitude. He initially came to remove lint from my dryer. That done, I identified a need for repair to my washer. A part(s) were put on order. Later, communication with regard to the part, its arrival and subsequent repair was expedited professionally thanks in part to Gabby, who mans the office's phone line. She is a conscientious communicator.

Did not honor warranty, stay away from this guy George, he will scam you.

This place is garbage... guy comes and doesn’t even know what he is taking about.. no thanks.. they thought they were going to make us stupid.. good one, I am pleased after George came out and took care of the problem.

Great Service! I had two techs come out and look at my fridge before I called El Paso Appliance repair an they couldn’t figure it out. George was my last tech before I figured I had to buy a new fridge. He fixed it that day! I will definitely be using them again for repairs and would highly recommend to friends!

Good service. George, tech , is very good and professional. El paso Appliance was upfront about scheduling and price for service fee. Only downside was had to wait for the part to be delivered. George was very upfront about price and about having to order the part needed.

I honestly forgot to write a review the last time these people were out to my home, which I'm really regretting now. The repairman, George, is super professional and always wears his mask as well as maintaining his distance. The receptionist is really nice and schedules you in as soon as they have availability. They send you a confirmation text letting you know that you've been scheduled. They also send you a text with a link for the invoice for the repair. Not once but twice, I've called these guys late in the evening with oven repair issues - one of them a potential gas leak. Both times, Reuben answered the phone and spent several minutes talking me through the problem. He was generous with his time and very knowledgable. Though we didn't end up hiring them - once because the problem resolved itself and once because my landlord had a relationship with another company - I was so grateful and impressed that I asked if I could send a small check as a token of appreciation. Reuben gracefully turned it down and requested just a positive review. So here it is: these guys are honest and capable. Highly recommended.

Very professional and quick he knew what he was doing. The first appointment he came and gave me quote he actually new what was the issue of the dryer and show me the part that was broken. And when the part arrived it took him less then an hour to fix it.

I called asking where i could get parts so i could fix something myself. They were happy to direct me to the supplier.

Call El Paso Appliance Repair to fix our Frigidaire ice maker. They set an appoint for the next day. They can on time and called to notify they were on the way. (HUGH 👍🏻). The technician was professional and informative. He showed me what was wrong. They quoted me a price and the final price was the same. (Unlike other places who change it along the way). I am very impressed with my total service and will definitely be recommending them to all my friends.

I called in a panic thinking I had basically ruined my furnace. George came out, was very courteous, and discovered I had only shorted out a transformer. George you've repaired a number of appliances in our home and we've been satisfied every-time, but this recent visit on Apr 7, 2020, your technician came out to check out my washer and he had advised me to replace the motor.
Your technician called and you gave us a price for the motor and installation, we agreed on the price.

My wife paid you $200.00 for the motor and labor fees and we left a balence of $102.00, and you told us that the motor would be here in here in about
(1 week ). Now its August 5th 2020 and we still haven't heard from you, we've called dozens of times with no answer nothing but to leave just a message.

El Paso appliance continues to me my go to company to service my appliances. I have called for services regarding my heating/ cooling unit, refrigerator, and most recently my washer. All the services that have been rendered are conducted quickly and properly at a good price.

My review is mixed because there were aspects of their service I really liked, but also aspects I believe they could improve upon.

I really liked their communication via text and digital invoicing. I liked getting real time texts about the technician performing the repair, as I am a remote landlord. The staff were always courteous and friendly.

There are a couple of aspects I believe they need to improve upon. First off, I filled out the form on their website for a callback to receive the 10% discount, but didn’t actually end up receiving that discount. Once the problem was diagnosed, it took significantly more time than was estimated for the parts to come in and for the issue to be repaired. I didn’t receive updates on when they planned to complete the repair. It wasn’t until I called in that they just so happened to have received the parts and they were ready to schedule to repair visit. The last thing that bothered me was that every time I called in, I would go to voicemail. Granted, they would always eventually return my call, but it would be more professional to have someone answer calls immediately or at least have an automated wait ring back if they’re on the phone with another customer.

Overall, satisfied with their service, but will likely try another service provider in the future.

George is amazing. I've almost always experienced same day service, despite the fact that he is always busy. And he's incredibly talented... I've used him for everything from air conditioning to heating to gas fireplaces to fridges and freezers to washers and dryers to ovens. I've recommended him to friends and definitely recommend him here.

Had George and Ruben come out to my mothers house to look at her air condition. They showed up (on time) and where able to fix the problem right there on the spot. They where both friendly and respectful to my mother and I. I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them if I ever need there help.

I emailed them the night my oven wasn’t working and got a phone call the very next day and they gave me an appointment on the same day. They came out to see it and repaired it the next day. Had an issue a while back with my fridge. Called and received expert and reliable service. Had meant to post this at the time but Le Google wasn't letting me.

Initially hired to fix my dryer that wasn’t turning on, also ended up unclogging dryer vent. George was very nice, and did a good job. Pricing was fair. Will be calling them back at least once a year to clean out lint from vents.

I had an excellent experience from the time I called to the very end of the service call. George answered my call, scheduled my service in a timely manner, and was quick to find the problem with my washer. The rate was affordable, and the service was friendly. The only problem I have is not being able to give Ep Appliance repair 5 more stars. I will definitely call them if I ever need a repair on one of my appliances again.

George installed my A/C which is no longer working. I called to have it checked out and they tell me they no longer work on A/C's . How convenient! Will never refer anyone to El Paso appliance again.

Jorge was great! I called and they were able to come out the same day and give an estimate. I have two sets of whirlpool cabrio(s), one I have owned for 5 years but has a bad bearing and a newer set that I inherited with my new home purchase. The new set needed a new suspension system and shaft. They assessed both washers and I was advised that it was cheaper and better to repair my old whirlpool cabrio platinum washer. They completed the work in a timely manner and saved me at least a few hundred dollars by not repairing that newer cabrio that needed a whole lot more work. Parts and work also came with a warranty. I will recommend them to anyone that needs an appliance repaired.

I paid George Smith over $800 to have him fix our commercial refrigerator and looks like we just lost our money. It still works exactly the same as before he took our money (or rather does not work), and now he does not answer our calls, nor return our messages or text messages. My wife even called using a different telephone number and he did return that call, but as soon as he heard her voice, he hung up and now won't answer calls from that number either. I am taken aback with George's dishonesty! Sadly, he states on his website being military Veteran. I know older veterans and they have always shown the military used to instill honesty on service men. Have things changed?!? We will take him to court now to get our money back

We have utilized El Paso Appliance Repair twice and both times the service was excellent, not to mention how courteous George was and the person that answered the initial telephone call . He also went out of his way for a specific hose that we wanted for the air conditioner. We were very satisfied for the promptness that they provided. We will continue to seek their service and recommend the company to all our our friends. It is very difficult to find honest, and caring people.

I can give only most positive feedback to El Paso for the quality, yet very affordable service. We called El Paso Appliance Repair to fix our whirlpool refrigerator. Freezer and ice maker were not working properly. They identified the problem fast and luckily had the required part in stock to fix the ice maker. He came back few days later and fixed our freezer. . A+ or 5-stars goes to El Paso .

Great experience. I priced EP appliance repair with two other companies. George quoted me a price over $400 less for a water heater replacement. Other companies in town seemed to want to tack on a lot of extra fees. Pulling permits with the city for a water heater replacement???

Had a very good experience with the tech, he was very courteous and knowledgeable of what was wrong with my dryer. He said it could be two things wrong after he asked what the dryer did before it stopped working. And he was right on point, it was the first thing he mentioned could be wrong. He had the part with him, and fixed the dryer right in front of me after showing me the broken part.
Saved me time and money and I'm very happy with his service.

Be careful with them. Called EP Appliance on Jan 25 to come out and diagnose why my washer was leaving clothes still soaking wet after all the cycles had completed. They told me it was the board so I paid them in advance to order the board. Part took over 4 weeks to arrive. They came back the 2nd weekend in March to replace the board and found out immediately that this was not the cause of the problem. They took the new board out and told me they would return later that day with my refund. Never came back. Now 5 weeks later still no refund.

We’ve used El Paso Appliance Repair a few times over the last 4 years of owning a home. They have always been on time, and fair with their prices.

I called these guys to come out because my refrigerator fan wasn't functioning properly. A piece of ice had formed over the fan due to a water leak. He removed the ice block and I had to ask him to address the leak as well. In doing so he caused the ice maker to malfunction. Since then I've gotten the ice maker to function again, but now the water leak is much worse. I've spoken to tech, as well as left messages and these guys keep blowing me off.
Would not recommend.

Their tech came out and diagnosed our fridge with a broken fan motor in the fridge. He gave me a part number to order and told us to call and they would come back out and put the part in. Well I have made two appointments and they keep no showing me and don't even bother to call back and reschedule. So I got fed up and started to put the part in my self and what do you know its the wrong part. Their tech had me order a part that doesn't even go to my fridge. Worse I plugged in the fridge and the fan works fine. I researched more online and the problem is common with the condensor drain freezing up. So I paid 45 dollars for a tech that had me order the wrong replacement part for a part that wasn't even broken. Complete Idiot. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! 100 Dollars Wasted. USE ANY OTHER REPAIR SERVICE.

I recently posted a review on El Paso Appliance Repair and I gave them 1 star only because the issue was not resolved. I fault myself for not reaching back out to the company, if I did I would have known that the company has a warranty on their work for 90 days after the issue. Since my review El Paso Appliance Repair went above and beyond to fix the issue. I am all about customer service in which this company was superb in that area and with that being said I will be more than happy to refer this company and I would be a returning customer if need be. This is a small one men show company ran by a guy named George, don't be deceived into thinking its an actual company, this is not a company. George came over to repair a freezer, He changed a part and told me that it will work in a bit. The freezer didn't work at all. I called multiple times to have his wife receptionist tell me that George would call me back, this never happened. I had to pay again another company to come and fix the freezer, the new repair company told me they had done more damage than repairs to the freezer. People such as these should not be allowed to operate.

George Smith is the best that El Paso has.!!!! Easy to make an appointment, calls ahead to let me know when he was coming. Went right in and helped us with our hot water heater. Works great now!!! So I had an appointment for today Saturday the 27th from 10:00 to 12:00. At 11:55 I got a call from the office saying they need to reschedule. Damn just wasted my whole morning for nothing. All we ask is for a courtesy call. Also I don't understand the two hour window. Maybe he is good at his job but I can't vouch for that because he never made it to my house.

SPENT $800 DOLLARS TO REPAIR A FREEZER AND A REFRIGERATOR, THEY CLAIMED THEY PUT NEW PARTS, OFFERED A 90 DAY WARRANTY ON PARTS AND LABOR. A WEEK AFTER THEY REPAIRED BOTH UNITS, THEY STOPPED WORKING. Very inconvenient and pricey. Everything with my dryer was working except that it was not heating up. I called on a Thursday, April 29th as soon as they opened at 9am but couldn’t get an appointment till the next day on Friday and was told between 9am-11am. Then later got a text that it was moved to 10am-12pm, no big deal but then when it hit 12pm, the tech wasn’t here. I called and they said he was running late. He didn’t get here till 1:30pm only to tell me when he got here that it wasn’t heating up, which I already knew and told them this when I called them. He said he would have to order a heating element ($150.28!) because they didn’t have it with them and they couldn’t come back until Monday since they are closed on the weekends. Nobody called me to setup an appointment for Monday, so I called them on Monday to see when they were coming back out. I told them I was here all morning so they could come whenever, but they didn’t have anything available until late afternoon when I wouldn’t be available anymore. Had they called me before to schedule, instead of me having to call them the day they are supposed to come out, it could have avoided this. So I waited all weekend plus another day for them to finally they come out on Tuesday to fix it… By the way, I looked up the part # after they gave me the receipt, price ranges for the heating element were starting from $17.99 up to $120, I didn’t see any place charging $150. Look it up yourself, put DC47-00019A in google and you will see the prices for it. And if you are curious, they charge $79.95 for labor. Tax and everything, it costs me $249.22 to make my dryer heat up again.. I only put 3 stars because my dryer is working now and they give you a 1 year warranty, but very inconvenient timing and expensive to repair. Might just buy a new dryer next time.

George and his wife (who takes calls) are very friendly. They lack professional follow-up with any communication beyond the initial service call. George ordered some parts for me and said they would take a while. I understand that everything is backed up because of the pandemic, but after months of waiting, they did not follow up with me to say, that they are aware of the order still and that things were backed up. I would try to call and see where my order was. I would be told, I'll ask George and get right back to you and never get a call back. I had to keep calling. Finally I was told, George told you it would take a while. They then offered me the part number to order myself on Amazon, which was helpful.

I set an appointment last Saturday for the following Monday, between 7-9 AM. I get emails and messages confirming my appointment, including a message at at 6:30 AM saying Gabi is on the way. But no-one shows up by 9 AM. I call them at 9:30 AM, no-one answers the phone but I leave a message, and 24 hours later, no-one has called me back. Is this place still in business? Had a hot water heater that needed to be replaced. Called several plumbers and EP Appliance Repair came in at a respectable amount. George confirmed the appointment and on the day of the job he was punctual and clearly knew what he was doing. I recently started having trouble with my Samsung dryer. I used to have the matching washer, but that gave out within a month and was a nightmare to get repaired and eventually replaced. I was hesitant to call because of previous experience with another company not having parts and having to wait. I first attempted to use the online repair request form on the company's website. It didn't work. That should have been my first clue that El Paso Appliance Repair doesn't have its act together. So I telephoned them and set up a service call for the next day between 12 and 2 pm. I waited and waited and waited some more for the repair technician to show up. I didn't even receive a phone call from the company explaining the delay or no-show. I called the company twice, and they didnt even bother picking up the phone. Thanks, El Paso Appliance Repair, for wasting my whole afternoon.

My first experience with El Paso Appliance Repair was great! From the initial call to make an appointment to the end of service. They sent me a confirmation text of my appointment along with a picture of the person who will be coming to my house and check my washer. Saul (repair guy) was very respectful, courteous and honest. I definitely recommend their services as they have shown to be a professional business.

Okcalled for flame problems, got up front “tech fee” $49, dude charged 90$ for wiping stovetop down! Called after flames acted up again, same tech, no charge/fix.Felt slighted, asked for discount/refund cuz dude wiped/CLEANED stove. Nothing, claimed “flames fixed”,felt like “rip off”. Oven now broken, not calling again. Emotional damage $49.

Called them out for a refrigerator repair it has been 14 days that I ha e been waiting for thwm to repair it. I was told 2 days. Got overcharged on the labor, it is not what I was quoted hourly. I keep getting told they will come out tomorrow, tomorrow comes and goes and no one showed up or calls..... however the owner did call me to correct the situation and seemed very sincere he also discounted a portion of my bill. I would probably give them a second chance since they cared enough to call me ans fix the situation....fast forward less than a week. The part they replaced didn't work or it was not the problem. I text them and told them that my fridge was still at 66 degrees and asked if I could have a refund and they could have the part back or for them to come and fix the real problem....I never got an answer call or returned message back from them.

Would highly recommend. Had to order part for broken washer, George came back and did the job in about 10 minutes. Will call them up in the future if I need help with any appliances. A++

Outstanding service! My refrigerator stopped working and I was afraid of my food spoiling if it wasn't fix right away, so I was willing to pay extra for a same day service from anyone. I've had George and Saul come to my house on two different occasions for my dyer and then my washer they arrived on time both of them were very nice and professional I would highly recommend them. I plan to call them if I need work done in the future.

George came over to repair a freezer. He changed a part and told me that it will cool down in a couple of hours. The freezer didn't work. He didn't return my phone calls afterwards. I had to find another company to come and fix the freezer. They explained to me that the piece that George installed wasn't the right one and it was installed incorrectly. :(

George, the owner was incredibly knowledgable when we spoke on the phone to assess what the problem might be with our dryer. In our experience calling around, he was very up-front about the cost for labor & parts whereas most places in the El Paso area were not readily addressing that information so that we could compare prices as consumers. He very swiftly came to do an inspection, and once we realized it was not the dryer itself, he was able to remedy and repair the situation which ended up being our electrical box. Very very unprofessional!! We feel we are very understanding when you cant make it to an appointment. We understand that things come up, but no call no show is just plain unprofessional!! I have attrmpted to call them various times and get no answer. The worst part is that this isnt the first time they did this to us. All we ask for is a courtesy call to let us know you wont be able to make it. This way we arent waisting our time waiting for someone who isnt going to show up

The review I’m posting is mixed. I needed my dryer to be repaired. It was difficult to get a hold of this company at times. At first, it was fine, but as callback issues arose, the response was not as fast. They were professional and didn’t charge us labor for callbacks, but it was frustrating that the issue took so long to fix, mostly due to difficulty in contacting them. I left messages but had to continue calling back. Sometimes they would call back but other times it took a few tries to get in contact. I had to call a different company because I wasn't getting any response. They seem like a knowledgeable company, and to be fair, they were dealing with a backlog at the time of our service because one of their technicians quit on them abruptly. That might have been the issue, in which case I completely understand. However, I still think they could work on their dispatch system or response to messages. I had to pay another company a service fee of $45 just for a simple issue (They found that the motor was just a little stuck and the barrel needed to be manually pushed. Literally. That was all they had to do.)

EP Appliance Repair was able to troubleshoot and repair our $3k+ Whirlpool refrigerator. The lights and Cooling stopped working and George replaced one of the electrical boards that activated the cooling compressor. The fridge failed a week after and George was right back at my house to get us going. We had to order another board which took another 2 weeks. All in all, I am super picky when it comes to work being performed at my house and EP Appliance Repair will be our go to. $400 repair, my eggs are now cold.

El Paso Appliance Repair-West repair was great! They were very friendly and honest. He didn't try to sell me services I didn't need for my Samsung refrigerator. The cost was very affordable and he came between the time window I was given. I will be calling them for any issues I have with my appliances in the future.

For almost 2 weeks he didn't answer any of our calls or text messages inquiring about the part we had ordered. He showed up February 4th and installed the part. After he left and we ran the dishwasher, it continued to leak all over the place. I called him again and again he avoided all calls and text messages. I reminded him in a voicemail that we paid close to $300 to have our dishwasher repaired. Finally, he came back on February 16th and said he would order another part for us; that it would take 3-5 business days to arrive. Today it is February 25th. No phone call. No update. My dishwasher has now been out of service for a month. We agreed with many of the other reviews on Google. This business seems to be scamming people out of their money. However, we plan on taking it a step further. We'll be filing a police report against this company's fraudulent ways and we'll be taking them to small claims court.
