My main water line going into the house busted at the riser. They offered a few solutions, but recommended a long term fix so it wouldn't likely happen again. I had them replace the complete line running to the house. They took care of the repair in the pouring rain and got my water back on that day.

Today I called about a possible pipe leak above my bedroom ceiling. I was immediately offered a plumber to come give me a free estimate. An appointment was scheduled and a plumber was dispatched. Shortly I received a follow up call advising me Nick was in route and would arrive in 30 minutes. Nick arrived, introduced himself, made small talk and promptly checked out my plumbing problem. Nick appraised the problem, gave me an estimate and advise me he would get started and complete the task today. I was so happy, I had been waiting for my usual plumber since Saturday. Nick was professional, efficient and charged a reasonable pair price. Thank you. Recommend this company to everyone.

No air was coming out of any of my AC vents. Within 24 hours of reporting my issue, and the issue was diagnosed, my unit was repaired. I worked with their plumber Nick Russell, who demonstrated to me a high degree of experience, competency, and conscientiousness. He diagnosed and fixed several problems ranging from small to large, and did great work. He ensured that I was fully satisfied with his company's work on my home, and for that I am very appreciative. Noticed a leak from the garden hose bib outside the house. Called these guys and they squeezed us in the same day!! We weren’t expecting that.Anthony was very professional/ knowledgeable and gave us a great quote along with with a 30 day warranty on service! Job was completed same day and we are very happy. My partner and I had problem with our toilet not flushing in the master bedroom. We appreciate the Tech by the name of Derrick being on time as scheduled. I obtained a quote for a tankless water heater through Budget Home Services. Even though I have not yet used this company, I want to recommend them, as far as honesty. Derrick was completely honest with me on why our hot water heater was not functioning properly, even though he knew this may influence our decision on whether or not to purchase a new tankless water heater. He was also up front with me about the fact that, if we get a tankless system, if there is a power outage, we would not have hot water unless we had a whole home generator. With a typical water heater (not a tankless one), there is a reserve of hot water even if the power goes out. I think Derrick should get a raise and Employee of the Year! I love his honesty, especially in today's world. So, as far as my experience with Budget Home Services, if you want an honest company (especially if you request Derrick), go with BUDGET HOME SERVICES! Thank you.

We have used Budget Home Services for years for all of our plumbing needs. They and their subcontractors (for digging) have been terrific. Their technicians are friendly, professional and very “can do”. Derrick and Nick always know how to resolve our plumbing problems and are very courteous and thoughtful. We highly recommend Budget!

I had problem with my toilet in the master bedroom of my home not flushing for almost a year. I appreciate the Tech by the name of Derrick arriving on time to service my home. Derrick explained the problem before fixing the toilet. Also after fixing the toilet he helped my partner and myself understand what the cause was to our toilet problem. I called them and they sent Anthony out to take a look at my leak. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the leak fixed at that time but Anthony was very informative. Derrick did an excellent job installing a custom shower fixture in my home. It was easy to set up the appointment and he showed up on time. We discussed the job in detail and worked through the different options before agreeing on what to do. I would certainly use them again.

They came out promptly to reinstall my sink and faucet and reconnect gas stove after countertop installation. Very friendly and helpful. A tad more than I wanted to spend, but after 3 days of no kitchen, I was desperate. Would recommend again. Have had bad experiences with different plumbing companies and this one was a nice change!

From the appointment to get a quote, until the final clean up was complete, Anthony and Angel were professional and kept me informed.I has a repipe and new hot water heater installed. My house is almost 50 years old, with quirks.They had to problem solve and get creativeJob well done. Affordable.

I called and reported an issue in the afternoon and they had a plumber out by dinner time. Derek was awesome and informative. I explained my issue and we were discussing it when I mentioned my home warranty. Since my home warranty should cover this issue he did not actually provide any services, but a company that gives free quotes, and explains each repair cost and why it is priced that way is good in my book!

Derrick and Anthony replaced two of our upstairs toilets. Cool guys and easy to work with. Great work and great service. We only them for plumbing services. Always recommend using them! The name says it all, BUDGET.

Needed to replace 15 yr old water heater in attic. Bought one through local big box store but their associated plumbing service wanted an arm and a leg for install. Looked online at several plumbing companies and this one had many favorable reviews. Called Budget Home Services on 6/6/19 and they sent Derrick out within 45 minutes. He looked everything over and came back with a firm price that came in almost $800. Under the previous “estimate” I got from the other guys. Sealed the deal right then and there. Derrick and Andreas came out the next day. Their dispatcher kept me informed of their arrival so I wasn’t left guessing when they would show up. Derrick and Andreas arrived at 12:15 and within ONE HOUR they had removed the old water heater, and installed and tested the new one. They also installed a full port ball valve that I had previously purchased into the new heater for me at no charge. Derrick gave me lots of information about my new water heater and maintenance tips to keep it operating for a long time. In summary: one hour attic install, very courteous and professional, great quality job and extremely reasonable pricing. Derrick told me they also have an air conditioning division of the company. I will definitely keep them in mind WHEN that time comes.

Hot Water Heater went out and we were in need of a fast and trustworthy company to come out. Called and they were out the same day had a new hot water heater installed in my home within hours! Derrick and Kelly were great! After installation they showed me how to use it and even cleaned up my floor and stairs! I will for sure call again if we are ever in need. THANKS GUYS!!!!

Called at 1 pm about a leak under the sink and draining slowly the dispatcher said Derrick was on another job Kept me updated on eta by 3 pm Derrick was here and completed the job by 430 pm even though he had to go get parts redid the plumbing and cleaned up . Well yesterday I noticed my water bill was extremely high and found I had a main water line leak. I researched top rated plumbers near me and found Budget Home Services on top. After reading some of the great reviews I called and set an appointment. Today I had the pleasure of meeting both Derrick and Angel. They were professional and down to earth people. When he quoted me my price I was relieved, Budget Home Services is very reasonable and had me fixed up in no time. Great company, good people and they will be highly recommended from me moving forward and will be my go to for plumbing issues in the future.

AC drain line was leaking but my man Anthony came out ASAP and fixed us up and walked me through what all he was doing through the whole process. Definitely will be using these guys again for any plumbing services.

I needed my water heater pilot light relighted. Entex came out and could not successfully do the job. I called Budget Home Services and the two employees, Derrick & Kelly, were awesome and completed the job in less than a minute. They were courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend this company!

Derrick was knowledgeable and diagnosed what needed to done quickly to tap into a hot water line to install my bidet attachment to my toilet. I would recommend anyone to use this guy for their plumbing projects.

Before considering using Budget Home Services, please read my post.I contracted with Budget Home Services for sewer line replacement to replace my drain pipes running from my kitchen sink and wash room to just outside my foundation by the back patio. This was in 2008. When we put our house on the market in March, 2020, the prospective buyer requested a pressure test to detect for leaks in the drain pipes. The pressure test failed. I then called my plumber who found that after running a scope through the drain pipe the leaks were from rusty pipes, pipes that Budget Home Services had not replaced. It was determined that they had only replaced about 12-13 feet of pipe, far short from the wash room and kitchen sink. They also used poor quality pipe connectors that do not comply with City of Houston code. I then called Budget Home Services to come out to look at the problem that I had. A man named JR from Budget Home Services came out the next day. I showed him my original proposal and bill of sale from his company and then showed him where Budget Home Services failed to complete the work on my home. He said he would bring the issue up and have the owner contact me and then left. After three days I called Budget Home Services and left a message for the owner to call me back. I stopped by the office about a month later and spoke to a man who said they couldn’t warranty work done back in 2008. I asked him when did they start warranting work that was never completed? He could not answer but referred me to the owner who was not there at the time. I left my name and number. To this day I have not heard back from the owner.I can understand that this may have been an oversight by an inexperienced crew or a supervisor not properly supervising work. There is no excuse for a company not taking responsibility for their errors. On their web page Budget Home Service states: “promise to our customers is that we will go to great lengths to assure your total satisfaction.” They also stated: “At BHS we take pride in our work and value our customers.” I cannot find any truth in these statements. In my opinion, they cut corners, they are unethical, they can not be trusted, and they do not stand behind their work. There are plenty of other honest plumbing companies in the Houston area. I would not recommend Budget Home Service for any sewer pipe replacement.

Very fair and honest. They were at our house within 2 hours of my call. Matt and Brett quickly diagnosed and fixed our AC issue. A loose wire in the attic was preventing the outside compressor from working consistently. A few weeks earlier, we hired another company that could not figure out what the issue was. Brett and Matt were very knowledgeable about possible causes. And they didn't charge us extra beyond the initial $49. I recommend this company!

Brett and his crew from Budget Home Services did great job replacing our R22 freon AC with a new R410 Freon AC. I got several bids and Budget Home Services gave me the best price. They installed the next day in just 6 hours. So Great to have AC again. It went out Easter Sunday. Thank you Brett, Johnny and the crew at Budget Home Services. I highly recommend them.

This review is long overdue. I called BHS for a leak in my upstairs bathroom and they did a great job. They are thorough, professional and friendly. Nick called me days after the work was complete to make sure things were still fine. Great company. I highly recommend them!

Kirk and Shannon performed work at my house last week, and Kelly and Anthony also did work for me today. All these guys were absolutely first class. They were honest, competent professionals. This will be the only company I use in the future.

Our hot water suddenly stopped working Tuesday evening and we called Budget Home Services Wednesday morning. They came out the same day and Derrick and Angel were very fast, friendly, were quiet while our baby napped and our kids enjoyed playing with them as well and even cleaned up any mess that was made. What mom wouldn't love that! Will definitely continue to use this company and recommend to family, friends or a stranger in need of reference.

Budget Home Services is the BEST. JR and Rick came to our home today to repair a toilet that would not completely flush every time. They assessed the problem, explained everything to us and fixed the issue at NO CHARGE. We have an older home and will eventually need to replace that particular toilet. We were given a very fair estimate of what that will involve, as well as an estimate when it comes time to replace our 18 year old water heater. These technicians were polite, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. We will DEFINITELY be using Budget Home Services for any future needs of this nature. Highly recommend!

My air conditioner was not blowing cool air at all. I called Budget and they were out within the hour. Not only were their prices the greatest (compared to others) but they were able to fix the problem right then and there. 5 stars!! Great people great service! Will recommend to my friends and family! Nothing but great things to say about this company. Last Thursday I had another company come look at my hot water heater. It was discovered that it needed to be replaced. The other company quoted me at $3500, which I found to be absurd. Unfortunately, I was going out of town on Monday and didn't want to let it go until I got back.I called a few other companies that were able to come out and give me a quote the next day but wouldn't guarantee they could fix it. I called BHS and was able to not only obtain a quote over the phone but was told she could have the guys load up the new hot water heater Friday morning and do the install that afternoon. And for WAY less, on top of it.Friday came and I was called to let me know they were on their way. Kelly and Kirk/Kurt (not sure which is correct... sorry) showed up and knocked it out. They were both very professional. Kelly went over some basics with me after install. They definitely deserve all of the positive reviews they've gotten and will be the first company I'll call in the future.

I have called twice now and Derrick has been sent. Once was a minor repair so he was alone but this time he and Kelly had to risk life and limb repairing a pipe in a cathedral ceiling. Not only that they are just plain nice! They cleaned up before they left and everything!

Derek and Kelly came to our home today and helped install our new appliances that we recieved after recovering from Hurricane Harvey. They were fast, efficient, and extremely affordable. While everyone else was trying to charge us thousands of dollars, we were surprised when they came in at an extremely affordable rate and werent trying to price gouge like everyone else seems to be doing. We will be giving out their number to all of our neighbors and friends who are recovering from the Hurricane as well.

I called Budget Home Services and they arrived promptly to replace my garbage disposal. Derrick and Angel were real pros. They cleaned up the area when finished and did excellent work. I highly recommend them for your plumbing need and I will use them again.

Budget Home Services was prompt to respond to my yelp message, they answered all my questions, our conversation lasted far past 5pm, as I was running errands and answering as I could in between tasks. Casey was patient and helpful and looked at the images and comments I sent them and even gave me a ballpark quote. They followed up in the morning and sent a tech out after I confirmed my request. Their technician JR was very friendly, professional, and did a great job removing our unused ancient garbage disposal. He also put caulking around our sink and helped me figure out what size and type of faucet I should go buy, he replaced the faucet and even cleaned up under the sink after he was done. He noticed some water damage from the leaking and let me know to be aware of this issue. I really appreciated this, and if I need any help reconnecting everything once we get the counter replaced I will definitely contact their company. He didn't waste any time, worked efficiently, and was courteous about clean up (something other companies I've noticed aren't always very good about).

JR was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure all questions and concerns were met. My A/C unit wasn't keeping up in the heat of the day. Come to find out a door on the unit in the attic was off and it was drawing attic air. Kirk the technician explained what was happening and fixed the door and the problem. His explaination made sense, was easy to understand. A very personable and interactive technician. Did great work, highly reccommend them to anyone.

Budget Home Services completely resolved multiple issues that I was left with after Centerpoint “upgraded” my gas meter. JR and his crew came out multiple times, even revisiting over a month later to reconnect my gas grill and clear out the gas line after Centerpoint refused to fix the damage they caused. Very grateful for the professionalism and attentiveness that BHS provided.

We got on their waitlist after the big freeze last week. They were in the nroghborhood working on another house and came and fixed our broken pipe this morning. Quick and professional. Our regular plumber wasn't available for more than two weeks. I think we have a new regular plumber.

We have used these guys several times and can say they are very reputable and honest. They repaired a gas leak in our house with some challenging issues. They were also half the price of other large corporate plumbing companies (i.e. ARS). We recently had a very minor toilet issue which they did not charge us at all. Highly recommended!

Can't say enough good things about this company! Called them about a serious issue and the response time was great. They identified the problem late on a Friday afternoon and were back on Saturday morning with a full crew to fix it - even showed up at 8:00 a.m. when they were scheduled for 9:30! Casey kept us updated with pictures and video while the work was in progress. Triple checked it all and we are back in business! I especially appreciated the fact that they were very aware that Saturday is the biggest day in retail and they took many precautions to insure the safety of our patrons. had a problem with the drainpipe from sink/garbage disposer called am. derrick came out at my requested in the afternoon explained my wife what he was doing and planning to do. had the problem fixed within 15 minutes great work highly recommend them

I hired Budget Home Services to replace a water shutoff valve. They did so, and the installation itself was good. In the process, they created a leak in my sprinkler system, which is right next to the valve. They were unable/unwilling to repair my sprinklers, and I had to hire a sprinkler service for an extra $245 to repair the sprinkler problem that Budget Home Services created. I booked Budget Home Services through the Google Guarantee program, though, and Google reimbursed me the full cost of what I had paid Budget Home Services.TLDR: Make sure you book through Google Guarantee, otherwise you might have trouble.

BHS was recommended to me by my regular plumber who was unable to unclog my bathtub drain using just a manual snake. He then referred me to BHS and told me that when i call to mention that the situation would need a power snake not a manual snake. I provided this information but when Derrick arrived he first tried a simple plastic snake and then went out to purchase a stronger manual snake. I informed Derrick that when I called I instructed that a power snake was needed. Derrick was hesitant to bring in the power snake for fear of making too much of a mess since the last job he was on created a lot of build up on it. He also said that a power snake was not mentioned on his job ticket. We then arranged for him to return the next day after cleaning the power snake. The next day Derrick returned with a sturdier manual snake and attempted to unclog the drain again. After another failed attempt the power snake was finally brought in and the clog was eliminated. Derrick was great! He went above and beyond to try and unclog the drain using the simpler tools before possibly creating a bigger mess with the power snake. Four stars for professionalism, cleanliness, timely response and value. Five stars if power snake had been used immediately which would have eliminated the back and forth visits. Thanks BHS, Derrick and Casey.

We would just like to say thank you to Brett for coming out to our house today. Our A/C system was not working properly for over a month. The other company we were using was trying to continue to get more money to make repairs that essentially we not needed. Brett came out and got our system running again without the costly repairs that the other company was trying to charge us. He gave us an honest assessment of the condition of our entire system and showed us problem areas of the system that were supposed to be fixed by the other company. He also gave us an honest quote for a complete system rebuild that was a few thousand dollars less than quotes from other companies. We have this company's number on speed dial and will request Brett the next time we have a problem. When the time comes for the complete A/C system rebuild next year, they will be the company that we do business with.

Derrick, Angel, and Andre were very helpful, hardworking, and knowledgeable of their professions. They found the problem with the pipes of our home instantly. They performed quick service and was always on time.

This is the 4th review I've written in my lifetime. You have to be supremely excellent or horrible to get me to do this. Budget is Supremely Excellent. Brett inspected my AC and water heater. Very friendly, explained every step he was making and didn't try to sell me stuff I don't need. Budget earned a forever customer and referrer in me.

Rick and JR came to the rescue! Don't know how long I had the leak, but the City of Houston Water Department sure does. Rick and JR were both very professional and efficient. Was surprised at how quickly they were able to do the job. It was pretty muddy down there under the house, but they didn't complain. JR informed me of how to send a copy of his Invoice to the City of Houston Water Department using a form from the City of Houston Water Department website for a Leak Adjustment Credit because of the higher water bills. I can't attest to the actual service of this company as the guy didn't even get out of his truck. He said the neighborhood didn't feel safe. There are beautiful homes on this street. Kids play in the yards, people walk their dogs, hang out on their porches. Nice cars in driveways. And when I called the dispatcher, she got an attitude with me about the driver, saying well, she's not in the truck and can't make him do anything. I don't know if they only service River Oaks and gated communities, but they should not have accepted the call. Just the attitude of the person I spoke with was enough to write this review.

Budget Home Services (BHS) provided great service to our condo this past Monday. Huck at BHS led his team to install hot and cold water filters in our bathroom to filter the water in the shower and bathroom sinks in our condo. I would gladly recommend the BHS team to anyone.

We had an underground plumbing issue that became a much bigger mess than anticipated. These guys came out, and in about 4 hours they had it fixed. I was there with them for most of it, and they definitely had to put some creative thinking into remapping 40 year old underground piping. Job well done.

I called two of the BIG service companies in town and BHS was the most affordable bid we received, so we decided to contract BHS to do all of the re-piping in her home. I call budget home service to replace garbage disposal. he replaced by badger 5xt. he charged $ 382-00. its strange that badger 5xt is available in home depot for only $ 95-00. he charged labor almost $ 287-00. Looks for price they are not trust worthy.

Bought a water heater from Home Depot, wanted to get a quote for an install , they gave me a 4 hour window and never showed up, so I called Budget Home Service since they said they do quotes over the phone, got a good price for the install, they came when they said they were and had the please to meet Derrick and Kelly who knocked out the job in a quick fashion and hauled off old water heater and I was ready for a hot shower which I took a few cold ones because of Home Depot.

Water backed up into our kitchen sink every time we turned on the faucet. Kelly came over. He listened to the symptoms I described and tested the works for himself. He tinkered with the drainage without any tools. He was patient and took the time to explain his reasoning as to the cause of the problem and its remedy. He had the water draining normally in short order. Since he didn't have to use any of the tools from his truck to unclog the pipes, he didn't charge us anything. How about THAT for service?
