What I thought was going to be a relatively simple issue with my water heater, turned into a much bigger issue. Thankfully, Mt Juliet Plumbing was able to fix the problem quickly! I will definitely be recommending them!

We were in a bind with a major plumbing clog. Mt. Juliet Plumbing and Leak Detection came within just a couple of hours and helped to identify the source of the problem. In addition to the problem we knew that we had, we had a leak that we were unaware of. The plumber helped us address both the clog that we had called him for as well as the leak we did not know about in a super efficient fashion. Really appreciated the photos of the problems so I could see the legitimacy of what I was being told.

I know we all look for various types of home repair companies so when I got the great service and quality of work from Mt Juliet Plumbing and Leak Detection, I wanted to share it. Quick response(same day), very knowledgeable(specializes in slab leaks) Quality and thoroughness of work including remounting of drywall. (doesn't tape, mud or paint). This is not a friend or someone I know, it was just that good of work. I had a slab leak in the hot water main line somewhere under my laundry room slab between where the line entered the slab and reemerged on the other side of the laundry room. (fortunately the leaking water came out the pvc casing in the garage). Solution was to disable that portion of the line and reroute the water line through the walls and reconnect at the point the former intake line emerged in the laundry room wall. All new PEX water lines and brass PEX joints/fittings were insulated and protected by metal plating at wall supports they passed through to protect from wall mounting screws penetrating the new line. (if ever there was future wall work) Nice guy too, explained all options and their costs. Didn't pressure you on anything and constantly updated me on progress.

Ed came out promptly to address my washing machine drain that was clogged. He worked diligently to locate and unclog the pipe to restore proper flow. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely use Mount Juliet plumbing and leak detection again.

I talked with three different plumbing companies. One company would not be able to start work for four days, the 2nd was to get me a quote. Mt. Juliet Plumbing was also busy but they said they should be able to start the next day. I discovered water on the kitchen floor this morning and found a leak under the sink. The plumber we have used for years has passed away and have used 2 other companies since then and was not satisfied with the service. I researched some reviews and decided to call Mt. Juliet Plumbing and Leak Detection. I did not get an answer and as I was going to leave a voice message a very polite lady named Brittany was calling me back from this business. She apologized for missing my call, as she was on another call. I explained my problem and she said she could send someone out that afternoon. The leak was in a supply line going to the faucet and since we were planning on getting a new faucet very soon I asked for the repair and having a new faucet installed. I also requested they replace the shut off valves on the supply lines since they are really old and hard to turn off. Ed Kelly the owner and his plumber Houston arrived at 1:00 PM and had the new faucet installed along with the new shut off valves in about an hour. They were the nicest and most polite men that you could find anywhere. Ed is a master plumber and is highly skilled and Houston knows the business also. If you need any plumbing work, I highly recommend this business. Their price was very reasonable and the service was prompt. I now have a trusted plumbing service that i will always call when I have the need.

Had small water leak between meter or under house. Called one of the “big” plumbing companies. Guy crawled under house. Said he saw no leaks and I needed to replace main water line. $8,000+.

Wanted second opinion; called MJ plumbing and leak detection. Crawled under house and within minutes found pressure valve was leaking. Showed me pics, obvious it had been leaking a whole.

Was charged $199 for them to cut a hole in drywall and tell me where the leak was coming from. After finding the leak, they said I needed a new shower arm. Quoted $190 to repair a shower head arm and said after the driving and the labor is why it cost so much. After they took the faucet handle off, a leak started and they said it was leaking like that before (it wasn’t). And then quoted $200 more to repair it. After I pushed back they did recommend reaching out to delta to get the part which I did. I’ll be attempting the repair myself so I don’t spend $700 total on a leak I didn’t cause.

They were prompt, found the leak and repaired it all within about 2 hours.
I thought they were a little expensive, but they stopped the leak.

I called Mt. Juliet Plumbing and Leak Detection because I had multiple issues with leaks. Ed was timely, professional and solved both of my leaks! He even replaced my shower heads and made them look amazing! I am very please with the level of service and plan on using them in the future for my plumbing needs.

Called for a blocked main drain and was able to come out within a few hours. It had resolved itself by the time they arrived but while they were here had them look at another issue we were having. They had to get the part and came back the next day to do the repair. Quick and courteous response. I would call them again.

We had a leak in our yard and had no idea where it was so I called Mt. Juliet Plumbing And Leak Detection to help us locate the leak and repair our problem. The plumbers came out with their equipment and were able to diagnose our issue and fix the problem. We had a gas leak so our gas got shut off. This was unexpected and couldn't have happened at a worse time. I called these guys and the plumber was very precise and knowledgable. We called this business because of a leak in the kitchen. Technician tore out the ceiling of our finished basement then recommended a friend who could fix it for the insurance money. Technician said we needed a new dishwasher. The visible leak under the kitchen sink was never fixed. Reached out to the business multiple times to have the actual leak repaired. Charged $200 to mess up my house and try to scam my insurance. This is NOT a reputable business

A lady answered my call and was unknowledgeable about the basic things about plumbing, was distracted (which I understood because she appeared to be taking care of a baby while answering the phone), couldn't provide a yes / no answer to a simple question.

They called me back for an appointment right away. They were very communicative, and arrived right on time. We had several issues around the house. They did a complete inspection, and took care of the issues, and gave me advice for follow up. I really appreciate how they worked with me.

My outside faucet handle has rusted off and needed to be replaced. Mt Juliet plumbing worked with my schedule and was able to fix it the same day they came out to look at it. They were really good at communicating times. Would call again.

I have used them twice now. Once for a large fix from a burst pipe in the ground and the second time was for backed up plumbing. Both times the work was efficient and fixed the problem. The plumbers were professional and the price appeared to be fair. I plan on using them a third time to finally fix our backage problem with a longer term fix.

We had an underground water leak and were referred to American Leak Detection out of Nashville. They had a 1 week wait time so I decided to check around some and that’s when I stumbled across a local company in Mount Juliet Plumbing and Leak Detection. Ed Kelly (master plumber and owner) came out the very next morning and not only detected the leak for cheaper than his competitor but fixed the problem the same day. We feel very fortunate to have found Ed and now we know we have a skilled local tradesman for all of our plumbing needs. I would highly recommend contacting the singing plumber before looking anywhere else!

We found a leak on Sunday under the kitchen and contacted them on Monday morning. By Monday afternoon they were here and diagnosed the problem. We ordered the part and Wednesday afternoon the leak was fixed. Ed was very professional and informative. I had a leaking toilet and thought, no biggie. So I said hey I'll just call a handyman because it'll be cheaper than a real plumber with a trades license. Well boy was wrong! What a horrendous mistake! The handyman didn't seal the toilet properly and this caused water damage to my floor and ceiling. He also failed to install a faucet properly. but I didn't realize that until later and now he won't even answer my calls. I ended up calling Mt. Juliet Plumbing And Leak Detection. The plumber that came out was on time. He was polite, professional, very personable and he fixed all of my issues the first time.

We had excessive water bills for a couple of months when we called. They sent out their guy (albeit late). Who repaired the issue. Since he wasn’t in his regular truck, he had no appropriate screws to anchor the new hose Bibb. He said he would stop by another time and anchor it to the brick. A week later we were back at the Mt. Juliet house and he indeed stuck to his word….the hose Bibb was screwed securely to the brick. Thanks for a job well done!

These guys were great. We had a major water leak 120000 gallons where the sprinkler system hooked into the main water line,.They responded within only a couple of hours and got it all done before dark.
