Best Yard Drainage in Phoenix AZ

We couldn't be happier about our choice of Lone Star Landscaping to spruce up our front yard. We had contacted other landscapers who either didn't call back or had no ideas for helping us achieve our goals. Patrick's design reflected our wishes and our budget. He, Chris and the crew did a wonderful job and were efficient as well as respectful of our neighbors by keeping everything neat and clean at the end of each day. Plus, they stand by their work. I really can't give this group enough praise. We highly recommend them as your go to choice. We will certainly contact them again when the need arises.

We are very pleased with the pillars that were constructed for our porch and the porch extension that we plan to use for a fire pit area. Since we also had rocks, artificial turf, plants and a drip system installed, our backyard has a whole new look! The crew was agreeable with our requests. They were a little bit careless with the plants: I had to pull several branches out from under rocks for several of the plants. Fortunately, we have a year's guarantee with the new plants. All in all, I would recommend this company to others.

Contacted Masterscapes to repair existing water feature we had installed in our backyard by a landscape contractor when we moved into our home. Both the waterfall and the pond itself continually leaked and the contractor was unable to make repairs. Masterscapes came out and gave me an estimate to either repair or replace. The estimate was detailed with a number of options which made clear they were trying to help us find the right balance between the aesthetics of our home and the size of our wallet. They did explain if I chose repair, they couldn't extend a warranty because they wouldn't be accessing all the previous contractor's plumbing which was perfectly understandable. Ultimately, we chose to start over and have Masterscapes redo the entire water feature. We are so glad we did! It was amazing to watch the worker's attention to every little detail. They did a meticulous job creating a beautiful and natural looking boulder stack for the waterfall, and replaced the old cement pond with a properly constructed one guaranteed not to leak. The final result is spectacular and exceeded our expectations. Masterscapes called each of the three days of the project to let us know they were on schedule and when the workers would arrive. The crew was extremely polite and respectful of our property and neighbors. Everywhere material would be on the ground they laid tarps first, and swept and blew off the area afterward. They gave us opportunity for input as the project went along, asking our preferences (such as whether to use river rock in the pond or not). The work was expensive (and stung a little bit to be paying for something twice, which wasn't Masterscape's fault), but we absolutely wanted to buy quality and not repeat our original mistake. The cost also includes a warranty from a reputable local business and that has value. We are very confident we got the quality installation we paid for and couldn't be happier with Masterscapes. I would highly recommend them and would certainly use them again.

They were attentive to detail, executed our plans perfectly, had great communication, and were fair priced. Ivan went above and provided great customer service through the entire process. Abel Hardscape took our old, tired turf and brought it back to life! In no time at all they had removed the existing grass, leveled out a new base for added stability, then expertly laid down fresh artificial turf. All throughout the process their team worked efficiently yet carefully we were extremely pleased with how quickly but quality-focused their work was; so if you're looking to give your outdoor area an upgrade make sure Abel Hardscape is top of your list you won't regret it!

We are very pleased with the work that was done on our side lawn. The workers were very nice and explained how they were going to level out and make the drainage of water so it would not puddle up. They worked very hard in the heat and completed project on time.

Did not show up for the day of the estimate. Made excuses as to why they didn't show up. They asked if I wanted to reschedule and I declined. Next day I find someone going though my back yard saying he is with this company. No phone call no knock or doorbell ring. Between the trespassing and staff that is clearly incompetent I insist you stay far away from this place. Guy who was in my back yard should consider himself lucky.

I received a recommendation from a friend of a friend, and was expecting a good experience with this company but what I got was a terrible experience!
I emailed the contact I was given his name was Garrett. I explained what I was looking for and got a reply asking for my address so Garrett could see when he could fit me into his schedule. I replied with my address and Garrett replied asking who was the recommendation from. I gave him their name and that was the last I heard from him. Then after a week went by with no further contact he showed up very early in the morning. I answered my door and did not know who he was and he said I am here for your appointment. I was like who are you, and he said Garrett from G Michael. I told Garrett I received nothing about an appointment. He said he sent an email which was strange because I received his previous emails without a problem so why all of a sudden there was a problem. It didn't sound legit but I gave him the benefit of a doubt any way and let him give me an estimate. He gave me some information and some suggestions and said he draw up a proposal and send it to me later that night. He told me they couldn't do it for a couple of months and when I asked when he said October. I told him that wasn't a couple of months that is more like 4 months. I once again didn't hear back from him until very late Friday night! The estimate was totally ridiculous at a Price of 27,500 for my small area. It was apparent to me that he was trying to gouge me on everything including adding ridiculous extra fees like 800 to skim the grass when there is hardly any there, and another fee of 650.00 for mobilization and build up amongst other fees. Seems to me to be a very poor business practice to treat potential customers so poorly and try to throw a huge number at them just to see if they are stupid or desperate enough to bite. They might be busy now but this won't last forever but a poor reputation will last a long time. I felt that he really didn't care about my business! It was apparent in the poor drawing that he included with the estimate. The drawing was so basic it looked like a five year old drawn it. One would think that for 27,500 they would want to show a very detailed design to show the value in their pricing! This and the fact they never contacted me to discuss the job further just confirms to me that they are not interested in my business unless I am dumb enough to allow them to gouge me. I have attached their estimate and design so other potential customers can make an educated decision !

They were amazing! If you are looking for your yard to be taken care of, this is who you want. We needed to get someone because we just didn't have the time anymore and from the phone call to start the work to the work being done was amazing. Brandon gave me a quote, sched the work, was able to get them within the week, they showed up, did the work and the crew that showed up worked hard and had our yard looking beautiful and amazing after it was all done. Desert Garden what a great job you guys do everytime! I've had two other landscaping companies neighbors referred, found these guys and don't regret my decision from parting with neighbors. ? Everytime they leave I just love the way my front and backyard look. I love pulling up to a neat yard... especially, when your neighbors trees are so messy. Thank you Desert Garden Lawn Care. I highly recommend them.

First they added a drainage system they charged us $9,000 and the drainage system does not work included in that was cutting a drainage canal and that just holds water so that was a very unsuccessful ordeal but they still want their money
Second they said they would replace all of our sprinkler heads for $12,000 then we caught them not replacing them they said oh it was only to be fixed got out on that Catch 22
Third they planted three trees they did not last more than a year only one of them's alive one of them's broke in half and one of them's completely dead but they say they don't warrant you that either even though they agreed to give it to your warranty this is the worst Landscape Company their word is no good there weren't you there no good be very careful

Poor installation. Barely 2 years and pavers sank. Now we’re dealing with a leak on the irrigation system they installed under the pavers.

Extremely lacking in professionalism, listening to community needs and concerns, and follow-through. Would not hire.
