We have had Design Tree Maintenance take care of our trees for a couple of years now. I was impressed with them the first time I met with their Arborist and the men that do the hard work are polite, knowledgeable and do an excellent job.
They leave my yard spotless! I would definitely recommend Design Tree Maintenance to anyone that needs help with their trees.

Was given an estimate to remove a very large eucalyptus tree - the process took longer than anticipated, and they ended up asking for an additional amount (in the hundreds of dollars) because of several broken chainsaw blades and additional costs. I agreed to pay this as I felt bad because apparently the tree had large pieces of metal in it towards the top (previous owners). I paid the additional, but after inspecting the area after (my mistake of paying first), they did not clean up all of the debris and foot deep mulch from the removal, but left trash, including the broken chainsaw blades. I tried to call several times, and never heard back. Also - on day two, their truck had a dead battery so I loaned them my jumper cables and they never even returned them. The tree was removed so I gave them two stars because it was massive, but the service and overall experience was definitely sub-par.

I'd give less than 1 star if i could i just want pleople to know what crooks and liars this company is. They way over charge, dont give notice of past due accounts and steal money from people who gave passed on. Then flat out LIE about the tiny security depoist they wete suppose to refun. Not that covers anything close to what my fathers account was hijacked for.

Very poor customer service. Paid $250 for services a few weeks ago and although they were an hour and a half late, I was pleased with the work and decided to rehire for front yard. Set a time for noon, didn’t want them to have a card on file so took time off work so I could be here to pay.
Nobody showed up.
Called and reset an appointment for the next day. They came an hour and a half early. LUCKILY I was on lunch break and randomly stopped at home and saw them pulling up at the same time. No call, no notification, nothing. I called Sergio and asked if there was a service that could be thrown in for the inconvience of today and yesterday or maybe a small discount. He started arguing with me over how the appointment was for 1:30 and they showed up so no. ( Although the time I got home was 12 PM and they did not show up yesterday or even have the decency to inform me they wouldn’t show up. )

I was planning to hire them at least once a month but due to such poor customer service and treatment I will take my business elsewhere. As you all know landscaping is not cheap so I will be doing business with someone who actually appreciates their customers.

Save yourself trouble and go somewhere else.
