Best Tree Trimming in Phoenix AZ

Andy and his team arrived on time and did an absolute amazing job trimming the big tree in my front yard. They cleaned up all the trimmings very nicely. Highly recommended if you need trees trimmed. Would definitely hire again.

Jesse Huffman came and trimmed my thirty year old very thorny mesquite tree and did a great job. I was concerned I might need to have it removed. Jesse and helper were able to prune it right and I get to keep my tree that the birds love with the shade I enjoy.

Russ removed a dead tree from my yard, as well as two stupidly planted trees that were causing damage. He also either removed the stumps or ground them down low enough that I can't see them. He also trimmed my bougainvillea. Everything was done professionally and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Russ's work!

The first time they came to my house they trimmed up a tree for me and they did a wonderful job . After that they started coming to my house on a regular basis they come about every 3 weeks. They take care of the backyard and the Front yard. He is truly the best gardener that I've ever had. I would recommend ? Between him and his wife, it is very easy to communicate.

Ismael does the best job hands down! He is reliable and reasonable. He and his crew were so nice, very hard working, and went above and beyond to do a fantastic job. I have recommended them to people who have used the service and have been so happy! You will not be disappointed using Ismael's tree service!!!

Very happy with the tree removal service provided by Lance. He did a great job, was very professional, and did the work for a fair price. I will definitely call Lance again for any tree work that needs to be done.

During a storm our Ocotillo cactus fell over. Urban Forest Tree Care came out within a day and braced it up and gave me care instructions. The men were great!! Very professional.

Customer service is not a forte of this company. After coming out and providing a quote and reviewing in detail what needed to be completed the full job was not done once they showed up. When calling to set up the service and indicating they would call back within a set time they failed to call back. I had to call them back to set up the date for service. Once the date was set they did not show up and bumped the appointment because an attorney had a job that needed to be done. Apparently the type of job you work at matters more when getting your trees trimmed.

When they came on the next scheduled date they failed to show up on time and no heads up they were not going to be there as agreed on.

While completing the service they had to ask how far to trim something, last time I checked they are the professionals and should be able to determine such judgement while considering keeping a tree alive or not. They did not clean up any of the neighbor’s yards that debris fell into.

They also failed to remove or put to ground level a tree stump after removing the tree, which our kids trip over. When trying to reach out about this (and trying to leave a voicemail due to mailbox was full), it took 3 attempts and finally a text message to get a call back.

So when calling to discuss they were argumentative and demanding that it would be another $350 to come deal with the stump. Talk about price gouging. There was no understanding or calm in the discussion and instead it’s blaming the customer.

I can tell from other reviews this isn’t the first time customer service has been an issue. If you want someone to trim your tree(s) and give you poor customer service this is your company. Otherwise I would go elsewhere for business.

AMS made our front yard look beautiful again! The team was prompt, very courteous, and did outstanding work.

Crew cleaned my yard yesterday. They did a nice job, however they reset my drip and sprinkler system incorrectly. When I came home my yard was flooded with sprinklers still running, and had I not turned off the water it would have flooded my house as well. When I called to notify them of the issue, I didn't get so much as an apology. Will never use this company again.

I started with a general clean up about a year ago, and continued with a monthly maintenance plan since then. They do quality work quickly. They are good with communication and in case of a (rare) issue they respond and fix it immediately.

Christian has removed a couple trees at my fathers house. He did a excellent job at a extremely complex removal out front by climbing it and sectioning it off into pieces, they fell perfectly and hit the intended spot every time he is a expert with that saw and I recommend his skills to anyone!

Rob and his crew did a fantastic job removing our 22 foot Queen Palm that had died. The location the tree was in in a corner with a waterfall and pigmy palms surrounding and all were not touched. They also did a great job cleaning up and hauling everything away. Great group and reasonably priced..

I don't really know who gives reviews about this company they never answer the phone at anytime day nights or weekends confusing.

I hired Hummingbird Tree Care last year and they did a fantastic job. However, I’ve attempted to hire them twice and twice they were a no show.

Our first no show was November 3rd 2022. Johnny confirmed our appointment about a two weeks prior. However, was then completely non responsive when we texted or called to verify we were still on for our appointment 24 hours before. Of course day of he never showed. We even called and texted to make sure he was ok? Again no explanation or return call.

After months of not hearing from him I called and spoke to him (this time he answered) I explained he had done work for us in the past and we would like to have him out to crown our tree. He asked if I could send him photos. I was driving at the time and forgot to send them. So the next day he texted me a reminder. I immediately sent photos. We exchanged texts and I was given a price of 1200.00. I agreed to the fee and he confirmed he would arrive on February 16th between 7-8am. I texted him on Monday the 13th to verify we’re still set (given our past experience). Again no response and again a no show on the 16th. I called both numbers he has on the internet with no option to leave a message with either. Therefore, I texted him and emailed him asking for an explanation? Again non responsive.

I am disgruntled because I took off work, boarded my dog, and picked up the yard/took down stringed light—all in anticipation of our trees being serviced. Not once but twice for him to no show. I find this disrespectful and completely unprofessional.

I guess he doesn’t value 1200.00 and lacks human decency to notify people of rescheduling or postponing a job if they’re setback due to inclement weather or employee shortages etc.

We are completely understanding people. Heck we offered him a second chance and didn’t hold the first no show against his company. However, two no shows is where I draw the line and write an honest review. Hopefully, others do not experience the unprofessionalism of hummingbird tree care.

Don’t waste your time with this company.

Called and got a price for trimming 2 palm trees. He asked how tall and how long from last trim. I told him 30 feet and about a year. He gave me a price of $150.00 for both trees. They got here and decided after looking at them that it would entail a lot of moving the palm fronds to the front yard and that the $150.00 price for both trees would not be $150.00 per tree. Kicked them right out of the yard at that moment. Someone who does this for a living should have an understanding of how much work goes into trimming 2 trees. $150.00 was a fair price, not the best, but fair. Already lost his number.
