Started out with great customer service by Justin Hall; he bent over backwards to try to help us stay within our budget. Unfortunately the project manager, John F. ruined the deal by trying to suck more money out of us by trying to convince us to let them do more than we originally wanted. We were very specific on our budget, and knew exact materials that we wanted. We never received itemized quotes for the extra sections of the project after numerous requests. Finally, John sent us an email seemingly irritated with US, and said the new price for all work would be over $30K ($10K over what we told him our budget was), with a take it or leave it attitude. Needless to say, we left it. I hope for Justin's sake he does not get paired up with John F. again on future jobs. What an unfortunate loss of a customer.

As soon as I made the phone call they came out to discuss our ideas on the yard, gave a fair estimate in a timely manner and started and completed the project as scheduled. From the initial estimate with Gary to discussing the project throughout its duration with Joe to open and clear communication with Rosemary for payments, we could not be happier that we went with this company. Nothing but good things to say about Builders Express. They installed backsplash in our kitchen and filled in a space over our fireplace. They were quick to get the job done and the work was done to perfection. So nice to have someone you can count on!
