Best Cabinet Design in Phoenix AZ

We hired Maplewood Cabinetry to design and install several sets of custom cabinets in two of our office locations and the overall process from start to finish far exceeded our expectations. Their talented team of designers, engineers, millworkers and carpenters did a fantastic job. Attention to detail was excellent. It was great to learn that their company is a family-owned business, founded by Bruce Dieffenbach and now spans two generations as both his sons -- Casey and David -- bring some fresh creative energy to the company. We will never go anywhere else and obviously highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional custom millwork!

After researching a couple of different custom table makers in the Valley we decided to go with Citizen Wood Company. The experience was well worth it! Tom was extremely easy to work with, listened to what we wanted, and provided feedback on what he thought was best in a constructive way. My husband and I believe the costs for his products are more than reasonable, too! We are extremely pleased with our live edge dining table and will definitely be using Tom for any custom furniture in the future!

Phoenix Cabinet Company did an amazing job on our kitchen and bathroom cabinets! They came out and measured, gave me so many style options, put together design drawings, installed our cabinets and came back out after the project was complete to make sure we were satisfied! The entire transaction was seamless. I will work with them again on any new project I have! The whole team is wonderful!

Affordable Cabinet Refinishing did a wonderful job on my bathrooms. They were very professional, cleaned up each of 2 days after themselves and I could not more highly recommend their work. My bathrooms look brand new!

I could not be happier with our experience working with Ray of Light. We were preparing to sell our house and they helped us renew our kitchen. Mina is fantastic to work with, she was communicative and offered valuable suggestions. Despite being in the middle of lowdown, our project was completed ahead of schedule. The quality of work is undeniable — we felt as if we had a brand new kitchen! We sold our house very quickly after the fact — and we were almost envious that the new owners got to enjoy the cabinets before we did.

What a great experience using Dutch Design Cabinetry. I love my new kitchen cabinets. It was a very easy process. Bram came over to measure and then shortly after provided 3 options ranging in price. The pricing also came in much lower than Home Depot and another contractor's estimate. The cabinets are high quality and look amazing.

My contractor hired Joe and his team at Associated Woodworks 5 years ago to build my dental office. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. I recently acquired new lab equipment which did not fit under my existing shelf/counter space, and this was stressing me out. I contacted Joe via email and he was very responsive and had my existing laminate cabinets removed and modified within a few hours for a reasonable fee. They left the lab clean and were prompt and professional. This impressed me so much, I felt they deserved 5 star review.

Their factory built cabinets were delivered to my Phoenix home in perfect condition. All the pieces were well packaged and labeled. I highly recommend VIP Cabinets for anyone who wants a great product at a good price.

I do NOT recommend using this company for your cabinet design/installation. It was hands down the worst experience of our entire house remodel.
- The cabinets that arrived did not look like our original renderings that we spent weeks on designing with the sales person
- The cabinet designer did not use any of the measurements taken by shop foreman.
- They started to install the wrong molding
- The corner cabinets were the absolute WORST! This company is completely incompetent when it comes to corner cabinets. The corners never lined up with the molding. We have two corner cabinets that we can’t let our kids use because event with limiters... they will hit the corners of the hood and cause major damage.
- The gaps between the cabinets and the drawers were all asymmetrical.
- Needless to say our cabinets and faces had to be remade SEVERAL times.
- We signed contracts on April 29th. It took them until September 10th to complete the job.
- At one point they said everything was perfectly aligned and good to go. The cabinets were so bad that we couldn’t even open four of the cabinets.
- On all of the top drawers... they made the trim so wide that you couldn’t even fit a handle on them.
- The installer ended up putting a large hole in our wall
- Three different employees said the phrase “this was a learning experience for us”
- The medicine cabinets were all the wrong size
- The touchup person took a package off of my porch and used it as a table to paint the cabinets.
- They added a set of drawers to the master bathroom which would have been fine if they worked. That drawer set literally went over our sink plumbing.
- The lower kitchen cabinets were off by an entire 1/2”. Our counter installers had a heck of a time laying counters because of how unleveled the cabinets were.
- Emailed the main person we worked with, Leonard on several occasions about the issues happening at our house and never once directly addressed our problems.
- After everything was a complete mess we insisted for our project manager to actually come look at our home. At that time we told her that this job had taken way too long and had a hard deadline of 9-11. We were hosting a huge party for our daughter. After that meeting I got an email from her stating that they will begin working on the issues on 9/14!!! Two days AFTER the deadline for my daughter’s party.
- Traci assured us that there would be a discount on cost for all of our troubles. That did not happen. I received a bill for the full amount due. When I asked about the discount for all of the issues... they knocked off $500. That is $500 off of a $30k project.
- The cabinet that was made for the subzero fridge was the wrong size.
- We spent the last year removing every trace of brown from our home. The cabinets are not finished on the bottoms so now there is just a whole lot of brown showing in our grey home.
- The cabinet installers scratched the heck out of our brand new front door.
- Bar glass cabinet was built with two doors instead of one. It sags so bad and caused damage. They didn’t put the large hinge support like the renderings originally showed.
- The refrigerator panels were made incorrectly multiple times
- Upper corner cabinets were originally made 4 inches too short. And they were made the wrong shape/style.
- Display cabinet was made unfinished and too shallow.
- Installed a tiny spice rack drawer instead of a large corner cabinet.
- The cabinet from the sink to the ice maker is off by nearly an inch.
- The banding on the cabinets is inconsistent. It’s literally two different colors and sheens.
- I’ve mentioned to them on several occasions that some of the cabinets they remade have a different color than the original ones.
- There is still a bow in one of the kitchen cabinets.
- After these issues and MANY more... they have the audacity to ask me if they can have someone out to photograph our cabinets.

Gabriel and Alex did an amazing job installing drawers and shelves in our two master bedroom closets. Having just moved into a new house we were so excited to get these closet make-overs. This a very sturdy and well-made product. Kuddos to Gabriel and Alex

I walked up wondering if this tiny storefront would yield anything useful. After visiting a half dozen cabinet stores I came here and I'm glad I did. They have a great selection at a wide range of price points. There was so many great choices it was easy to find what I really wanted that I hadn't seen at any other chain store. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience and can't recommend this local shop highly enough.

I have had nun chucks made by woodesign, kitchen cabinets made by woodesign, tv armoires made by woodesign, I have even had a bar made by woodesign. They are the best wood and exotic wood carpenters I have ever come into contact with.

Was working with her product on a job where the contractor purchased flat pack boxes from them, we ran out of Staples on site was trying to call them to find out what staples sizes They use. After being hung up twice a and then finally a third time I called back asking to just please give me the size of the staple cause I needed more to be able to complete this installation.

They kept me on hold for 45 minutes didn’t answer. My question hung up on me three times and finally told me to have the main contractor called him back because they did not want to give me the standard size installation, staple that they use. Terribly unprofessional company will never recommend them cannot recommend them.

I would use CFA or HCI for your cabinet needs. Far more professional, and less troublesome installation as well as customer service.

Great work and cabinets, exceeded expectations. Public House Creative and Mike were great to work with, pricing was fair and well worth every dollar.

I purchased an established home built in the late 80's and was really dated. AZ Unique Cabinets replaced all of my baseboards, door trim and refinished my interior doors. I am so amazed at how much this has transformed my home! I will definitely use them again when I am ready to remodel my kitchen and bathroom! They were absolutely awesome to work with!
