Like any large job which ours was, there will always be a few issues along the way, especially during COVID-19. Jeff was extremely responsive and unlike so many contractors today, he kept us informed and actually showed up on time when he said he would be there. He is personally very skilled in all aspects of woodworking and quite resourceful. They are flexible to your needs and totally committed to exceeding your expectations.

These guys installed this built in entertainment/media center in my loft. They were very professional - not only were they meticulous during the installation process, but they were also very polite on friendly as well. I was very impressed by the level of detail that they pay attention to, down to the color-matched stickers that cover the screws where it was mounted.

Easy to work with to meet your needs, and will adjust as required to please the customer! These guys are truly experts in their field, and you will not be disappointed!

Victor and Eli just delivered my bathroom cabinets and they were very professional and courteous. This was an easy delivery and I am excited about the install tomorrow!

Just Wow! We just had our new custom kitchen island installed and it looks amazing. We are doing a complete kitchen remodel and we started with having a custom cabinet design made for our kitchen island. The granite will be added next week and now all the plumbing and electrical is done and ready to go. Once this is done then we will start on the kitchen cabinets. We are doing an all custom tiered design for the cabinets that will look amazing. We cannot thank Mike and the team at MK Woodworks enough for the beautiful design and the quality of the work they did. We reviewed multiple Phoenix cabinet makers and no one was able to meet our demands and timeline but MK Woodworks. Unfortunately, I am compelled to change my review from 5 stars to one. Paul Jeffries, the principal and owner of Paul Rene, misleads. His website represents that he builds furniture, but he does not. He only designs it. Further, he is not particularly responsive to messages because he is traveling. This has led to follow up and other issues related to his product difficult to impossible. While the work appeared to be well done on my project, it was important that the large entertainment center be movable and portable to another house, although it would fit in the alcove to look like a built-in. After installation, this was again confirmed as warranty work on my house necessitated moving the unit to replace the tile under it. Mr. Jeffries assured me that his people could move the unit for me for a charge. However, a year after the unit was installed, Mr. Jeffries was not responsive to my messages for many days, then advised he could not move the unit as promised because he was not in state and no longer building furniture, only designing it.. He said he would reach out to someone in Tucson to see if he could handle. There was no response. I asked again for Mr. Jeffries to help and provide a name, but he refused and suggested Home Advisor. I contacted a number of companies, some of whom declined the work and 2 who inspected and evaluated the unit and said (a) it was not built with good materials or finished well and (b) was not assembled in the usual manner to be portable, and that moving could cause considerable damage. They both opined that I grossly overpaid at $11,000 for the unit, which should have cost custom made about half of that and would have been better built with better materials. I sent to Mr. Jeffries a final message asking him to please advise who built the unit, so I could speak with him and get their opinion. Mr. Jeffries has refused. This is a very bad sign and large red flag that he won't let me talk to whom I thought were his employees, but now may have been subs with whom he does not want me to communicate for reasons he obviously does not want disclosed. All of this is very disappointing and very disturbing and it has caused considerable trouble and grief in the warranty work on my house. Mr. Jeffries and the Paul Rene company are not reliable. And be aware that his website is not accurate. He does not build furniture.

Skylar and his father Dale start off as sweet and promising until they have your money. My job is 5 months past deadline and I can’t get a text back for the life of me. They don’t have an ROC on this new company they started but I’ve researched and came across their previous company… and now I see why they tried starting over under a fresh name. If you plan on hiring them, better to just give them your money and save yourself the heartache.
