Excellent experience. Made inquiry by phone, then shared photos and information by text. Got a quote and appointment within a couple of hours. The work was done, as promised, 3 days later. It took one full day for two people, and the price was very reasonable. Extremely satisfied!

My experience with MicMar wasn't as good. Started to plan my floor project and demo with them a few months ago. Spent a lot of time and many trips to their office for picking up samples to get the exact floor that we wanted and finally a few months later we were ready to get started. In the meantime we went thru 2 floor estimators (the first one was let go and the 2nd one left the company for medical reasons) and the 3rd estimator was about to cash in on all the hard work that was done by the previous estimator until I was told that he will do me a favor and honor the price that I was giving on the floor a few months ago because the material prices went up since. So just to be clear with his statement I specifically asked him on what he is referring to. Labor prices? Internal material prices? Manufacturer prices? His response was that they are charging me less for labor and the manufacturer increased the prices on the floors we picked out. The only thing he was not aware of is that I spoke directly to the manufacturer prior and specifically asked the regional representative if they increased any pricing on this specific flooring that we picked. His answer was no. When confronting the situation and flat out calling the estimator out on his lie in a chain of emails and I also had the owner Mike copied on the email. I got an answer from the owner right away to apologize for the misunderstanding and asked me how he can help. When I replied and asked him not to insult me with a misunderstanding statement since everything is in black and white on the email chain and challenge him to explain what I misunderstood. He went silent and received an email days later from another person that work there that she is trying to explain that their buying power is not as much and they're a small shop. According to the regional representative they did not increase any prices so I'm not sure where that is coming from.
Bottom line is if you want to get your floors or any demolition done by an honest company that don't lie to try to make a sale look elsewhere. I will NOT recommend them to any of my friends and family and I hope you do the same.
I do understand that they do have to make a profit but try to be honest and don't lie to your customers that are spending a lot of money. Also if they just admit to the lie since everything was documented in an email chain maybe I would have gave them another chance.

Rachel and Heath were amazing to work with. From the initial call to the final completion of my beautiful floor, they were so helpful and professional. Rachel searched for the exact flooring that I wanted even though they didn't carry it and Heath installed it flawlessly! They are both great to work with and very friendly and kind. We had hardwood floors installed in 3 bedrooms and our master bath remodeled. We couldn't be happier with the work and the service. Marin was great in coordinating all the trades and kept the project right on schedule. Rado did the demo of the bath and the complete design and tiling of a new shower and flooring. The workmanship by Rado was tremendous. We are so happy we chose European Design Flooring for this project and their prices were the best we found.
