We hired Phoenix Home Remodeling, after meeting with and receiving quotes from several other companies, to remodel our master bathroom. We were so very impressed with the communication, support, and reliability we experienced, from our initial appointment through our entire remodel. Every trade that came to our home to complete the project was equally professional. We are so pleased with our new bathroom and appreciate that Ben, Mark, and Jeremy were always available to answer questions, respond to requests, and help us create our new space.

After Ben did a fantastic job remodeling our daughter's kitchen, we hired him to remodel our kitchen and great room. This project involved removing a fireplace as well as some walls, and replacing floor tile throughout. Ben was easy to work with and highly dependable. He coordinated with our kitchen designer and communicated with us every step of the way. We were very pleased with Ben and hope to hire him again in the future.

Big shout out to Luxury Remodels for their terrific work and competitive pricing. Our master bath was in rough shape when we bought the house, and now it’s practically a spa. We had no idea what we were doing, so they walked us through the process step by step. From recommending colors, materials, and they even drafted us a 3D rendering. Could not have asked for a better experience or more helpful team. Will be going back to them when we’re ready to proceed with our kitchen remodel! We contacted D&D construction for a small but significant repair to an exterior stucco wall. We left a message and received a phone call in a few minutes to schedule a visit for the following day. Dion was on time and give a prompt estimate. The work was completed the next day, efficiently and cleanly. Received a picture of the property showing the condition before and after the visit, and payment was done online.
Very happy with the service.

Working with Hunter was an awesome experience. He is a dedicated and hardworking person, who's willing to listen to your needs and work towards giving you exactly what you want. In my experience, it's often difficult communicating with many GC's as they either don't provide context, or don't listen directly to your feedback. However, working with Hunter was much more smooth, he was able to sit down with us, listen to our goals, and implement what we were looking for. I would strongly recommend Hunter and Offcut Interiors.

Can’t say enough positive things about Dwell House. They managed my remodel professionally from start to finish. My finished rooms were everything I had hoped for. They wither well with my designer and handled all glitches and changes well. I would recommend Luke Bourne and Dwell House to anyone and I plan to use them for my next remodeling needs.

Had the old shower removed and replaced new shower with glass wall and door. Professional job done by both shower and glass guys. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was told a week to 10 days for glass and door for shower, took 3 weeks. But when they gave a time and date they were there and cleaned up everything when finished. I would recommend AZ bath good job guys and thanks.

Xtra Mile was comunicative, and easy to work with. Work was finished before their timeline and looks great. We had them install a new tile shower that is perfect. Tile and drywall in our worship. They even painted. It has been a pleasure working with them.

Wouldn't Recommend
My husband and I were really looking forward to updating our home and adding some value to our property. We had two other companies come to our home, and Republic West Remodeling seemed to be the best, at first. We originally had one designer, who wasn't supposed to be our designer, but we were placed with this first one because the other person had a family emergency. When meeting with the designer, everything seemed great, all this different stuff was going to be added that wasn't originally in the contract, and it was getting much more personalized. But, then I never heard from that designer again, they never conveyed it to the person who wrote our contract, and then our home wasn't being done the new way I believed it would. Instead we just heard it would be about 5,000 over our already insanely large budget. Then the designer we were originally supposed to have became the designer once again, but never even came to our home. For our master shower we had a tile picked out, and we said it was too expensive. So, they got a less expensive tile that couldn't be on the bench for our shower and didn't even think to get a pencil liner to match it. This is when it was our last straw. I emailed the designers about the lack of communication and how it was unprofessionally considering we are not some big fancy home in Scottsdale, but we are paying A LOT of money for this work. I also called and texted, even the person who wrote our contract. NO RESPONSE from any of them. I am not a mean person, just a simple I AM SORRY would have made me feel better. To me the designers and the business did not care about our home. It was just another job that they don't have to worry about. The owner of Republic West called us, helped solve some things, but the cheapest way possible for them. The workers that came to the house were always great. The manager for the project was good, he cared about our situation and helped out. In the end our stuff looks beautiful. Is it perfect and exactly what we wanted? No. But, I am glad I never have to worry about them again. For what we paid, it was not worth it. If we were to do it again, we would have went with someone else. We know home updates never go as planned, but this was a whole different ball game of bad. They cared about the checks, not us and our home. I believe a professional business should not even have to share with their costumers that we won't have this original designer because of their family emergency. Just find someone else to take over, and if you need to switch just let them know it was for a business reason. I truly hope they treat costumers far better than they treated us, but I wouldn't take the chance!

We initially contacted McCurdy Construction for an estimate mid February based off of the good Yelp reviews. Estimator Ryan Grannis came out on 2/25/21 and provided us with some ballpark numbers. He asked if his high end of the estimate scared us ($250k) and we said yes, but that we would still like to move forward with a detailed estimate. He said he would have this to us in a week and a half to two weeks tops, and joked that he prefers to work on the bids for jobs that he likes first. I'm not sure where we fell on his preference scale, but future customers beware that if your job does not excite him enough (i.e. size of budget), you will likely get jumped in line. Apparently our $150k didn't quite do it for him.

Two weeks after his initial visit I called him (3/11) to see where he was at with the estimate. He said he would have it to us the next day, and if not, he would come in on that Saturday to make sure we got it. We didn't get it that Saturday and this was the last time I was ever able to get a hold of him.

I called and left him a message the following Thursday (3/18), now three weeks after the initial in-home consultation, but no response. I then called the office and the receptionist said she would email him right away to get his butt in gear.

Now four weeks later and we have still not heard a single word from McCurdy Construction or Ryan Grannis. It is disappointing that this is the most forward facing person for the company and he cannot even return a phone call. We knew this lack of communication from the initial contact representing the company was a red flag of things to come, and we wisely found a much more communicative and professional contractor. We are happy that we avoided this potential nightmare.

We had some water damage due to a leak that went undetected for a long time. After the water mitigation team came in and dried everything up we contacted Matador Construction for the rebuild.

We were starting to run into the holidays at this point and were worried that we would not have a kitchen for our guests on Christmas. Not only did Matador come in and give an estimate right away, they were able to get the work done extremely fast and before the holidays. We can't thank Matador and their team enough for literally saving Christmas for us. Our cupboards look as if nothing every happened. I can't recommend them enough.

Talavera has done multiple projects at my house over a time period of more than 6 years. From cabinetry and indoor/outdoor furniture to remodeling, painting and/or restoration after water damage, their work has always been professional. They have always worked with me in order to complete the job to a satisfaction level that is always higher than expected.
Larry Mack gives fair and honest quotes, a reasonable time frame to completion, and he works with some of the nicest men I have ever met in this profession.
They all do their personal best to make sure the work is done to exceed expectations, and they stay in communication so everyone knows what needs to be done.
