We recently completed a full tear-out kitchen and master bath replacement with Homework Remodels in our mid-century home (built 1957). It was the second major project on which we engaged Steve Shinn and company. The first was about ten years ago for an addition to our home that added an office/bedroom, laundry room, garage extension, new roof, painting and changes to front and rear patios.

Doing such an extensive project that involved all trades gave us the opportunity to really get to know Steve, the quality of work from his team, and the way he runs his business. Needless to say, we were very satisfied and had no hesitation calling Homework Remodels for this latest project.

We were very pleased to see that Steve was not only still in business following the recession that clobbered so many local companies, but actually had grown his business over that time. Knowing that Steve takes a long-term approach to managing his business, and having seen his dedication to customer satisfaction, we were not surprised to see that Homework Remodels flourished. We had uncertainties about other contracting firms, so we went with the one we knew and with whom we already had a good experience. We had confidence in Homework Remodels, so it was a pretty easy decision.

One of the changes we found, that was of great value to us, is that Steve now had an in-house designer, Sheila, whose experience and expertise was obvious from our first meeting. It made tackling such a large project a much more comfortable experience. Sheila provided a lot of information on materials, fixtures, and design, and told us where to find more on our own.

The Homework team provided guidance every step of the way and did a great job. I would recommend them for their quality of work and great customer service.

From the initial contact with Lucy Vang to the planning and ordering phase by project manager, Steve Kosac to the installation by Brad Props and Randall Hart, This entire picture window replacement was a smooth and more than satisfying experience. They not only did an excellent job, but they also completely cleaned up and restored the room to its original condition.We highly recommend them for any window replacement or repair. We needed some drywall repair and Todd Whittaker Drywall was very responsive. From the moment we contacted them the office staff stayed in communication with me throughout the entire process, I was never wondering what the next step was. Our repair was scheduled and Beto came to our home right on time, was very professional and did an amazing job. He covered the entire area, completed the repair and cleaned up very quickly. Once he was done you couldn't tell he was even there or that we had any work done. I inspected the area very close and couldn't see any difference between where he repaired and the untouched space, great job!

Love this company! Our upstairs balcony was unsafe and had to be rebuilt. 12 ft cantilever beams supported it and 8 feet of the beams were above our dining room ceiling.
ArDan met with us to discuss the project which sounded elaborate to me. They explained everything in detail which eased my concerns.
We left town during the project and came home to find everything in back in place and their work was beautiful.
After that we hired them to remodel a bar in our home. Again, wonderful job. They are professional, on time and very nice people with tremendous follow through. Highly recommend!

The communication you have with these guys are unprecedented, they really do keep open communication and they are very upfront with anything and everything. They answered any questions I had at anytime. They exceeded my plans I had to remodeled my house especially my bathrooms! It was honestly more than I could ever ask for.
I had them crate a mancave for my husband and OMG did they ever blow it out of the water!! Its AMAZING! HE loved it and cannot stop talking about it. They went above and beyond with it and I could not have asked for more.

We have used Ruidoso for tile installation, interior painting and exterior painting. Their attention to detail and quality of work is unparalleled in my opinion. The tile work include over 1500 sq feet, with two areas using a herringbone pattern and several other areas being 'directional'. They included borders of both solid color and diamond patterned borders to great effect.

Our paint work included white trim and off white walls with a dark accent color on select walls. The result is we feel like we are getting a brand new home.

We hired ABA Home Remodeling to replace all of the original windows in our home that was built in 1965. The difference it made has been amazing. There's less noise, less dust in the house, and the windows look amazing! Everyone at ABA was patient in helping us understand our options and the installation process. The installation team was courteous, professional, and did amazing work in a short amount of time.

We are very happy with our new windows and would recommend ABA to anyone in the same position!

Everardo, Jose and the entire crew at Rhino Construction, and subcontractors for specific jobs, have our highest recommendation. Last year they helped us repair our interiors, kitchen and full bathroom reno after flooding and mold remediation so this year we enlisted them in an entire backyard project. With nothing but dirt, rotting overhang and broken cement patio they did everything, from demo and shed moving to adding a sliding glass door (and other doors and window), pavers, landscaping, grass, roof, trim, gutters and exterior and interior prep and painting. They also added the tile to the inground spa we had installed. Their techs got everything done with excellent work and on our time frame. But the best part is they work with you and as your project evolves they adjust with you, and can also help solve problems with older houses and make recommendations as needed. I was able to work with businesses of my choice to pick the hardscape, detail tiles and plant materials to design all aspects of the project to our aesthetics and budget. Rhino picked up and installed things as we wanted them to be and always cleaned up completely. It turned out better than we had hoped and they are our go to company for all our home improvement and repair needs!

Xtra Mile was comunicative, and easy to work with. Work was finished before their timeline and looks great. We had them install a new tile shower that is perfect. Tile and drywall in our worship. They even painted. It has been a pleasure working with them.

I had a house fire in November 2021 which caused extensive damage. Bethom Contracting was on the scene the night it happened and I chose them to reconstruct my house. They told me it would take about 8 months for me to move back in. It ended up being closer to 11 months. The delay was caused by supply chain issues, Covid 19 staffing issues with the permits and my mtg being sold to another company in the middle of the claim. Through all these hiccups, Bethom continued to work through these and said it would be completed by my birthday. They met that deadline! The house is beautiful! They were always a phone call and/or text away. They answered my questions and addressed any issues I presented them with - no matter how small or big. Alina was wonderful to work with. She was very empathetic and sympathetic to my situation and how stressful and emotional a house fire can be for someone. I highly recommend this business.

We hired Brian for two different projects. He completed a cabinet installation botched by the cabinet company. The cabinet company left our kitchen island unfinished. Brian did a beautiful and very professional job. He matched colors and materials in kitchen island and the result was better than expected. The second project was to remove/replace our water heater. The install and removal were great. One year later we discovered a defect with the water heater that created a gas leak. We called Brian and he came out the next day with a replacement part and fixed the problem under the manufacturer’s warranty for the part ands his personal warranty for the labor. Both projects were done to our satisfaction. Brian is a true professional and a pleasure to work with.

Rosa and their staff did an amazing job! From start to finish. They were knowledgeable and very nice. Easy to deal with. The install crew was nice and did a great job. They cleaned up after the installation. From the first phone call to the day of installation. Everything went smooth and very fast. I recommend them for any service. Thank you so much.
