A year ago, we had Handyman Connection help us renovate a bedroom for me. Mark C. was the man for the job and we were very impressed to say the least. Recently, we decided to remodel our bathroom. Since our experience with Mark C. was so good, we decided to request him specifically.

Mark C. is never late. He was on-time every single day and he was extremely respectful of our home, family, and pets. He cleans up after each day and makes our home look better than what it was before he started. Mark C. has a skill set that is truly masterful and polished. He communicates updates, changes, and general expectations as well as guides us with knowledgeable recommendations to accommodate our ideas. We we’re on a tight timeline and he assured us it could be done and did not disappoint!! From design ideas, to making sure it could be done within our budget, we are beyond impressed with how everything turned out. Ken and his team did an INCREDIBLE job. They were so efficient, respectful and great to work with. Ken is an excellent communicator and the project was seamless. We had our entire home tiled, wall replaires/painted, an additional room added to our kitchen, partial bath remodel and a total kitchen remodel. Our home looks better than we expected and we cannot say enough positive things about Acuity. We hope to work with Ken and his crew again in the near future.

The first time I worked on one of Project Construction LLC's jobs as a sub it was evident that Robert knew what he was doing. He's well organized, clean, and likes to work smart. Not to mention, his attention to detail is outstanding. I give this builder two thumbs up and will use him on all of my personal projects in the future.

We had the perfect experience. Eric was incredibly professional. He set realistic expectations, did not over commit and definitely went above and beyond. Our project was completed ahead of schedule. That may not be the case for all their projects, I can assure you they will certainly do their best! Eric was also involved through the entire project. The site was clean everyday and we always felt valued. We will have future projects and it is a relief knowing that we have found our forever contractor. Thanks Eric!

Randy is always on time. We had a list of items, and he got it done in 2 half days. We will definetely hire him again if I have another project.

Jeremy and his team showed up to assemble furniture, hang art and curtains, etc for my sister and I.
First of all, he is wonderful at communicating. (Answered all our emails promptly, which impressed us, as we live out of the country.)
His attention to detail is top notch. He is a perfectionist at getting things straight!
Above all, his attitude shines. He has a positive energy, and is pleasant to others.

My wife and I hired Rick to do a major renovation of our home (all bathrooms, garage, kitchen, laundry room, floors, etc.) in February of 2022. Our initial meetings with Rick in January 2022 were great. He was very responsive, friendly, and communicative. That was until we signed a contract with him and paid a $4000 permit retainer. As soon as we paid Rick the communication and proactiveness disappeared. To summarize the details below, it was a nightmare of 8 months just to get a permit approved by the city.
We were told he would have the initial plans ready for us within 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get him to provide a draft of the remodel design which had numerous mistakes. The following day we sent an email with a list of all the mistakes that needed to be fixed including measurement corrections that I had to take myself.
3 weeks later and no word from Rick, I follow up to check and he indicates that he will be submitting the plans end of the week (April 12th). After many more follow-ups and involving the Refresh Renovations corporate we finally get him to submit the plans to the city on May 13th, 3+ months from signing the contract. Note, the contract indicated that the project would start in mid-April.
The plans that were submitted were riddled with issues and required THREE rounds of corrections! We finally got the permit approved at the beginning of October. Rick provided excuse after excuse throughout the whole process. I have worked with dozens of contractors in the past and Rick and Refresh Renovations were BY FAR THE WORST!
We canceled the build contract and have found much better professionals to complete the elements of the renovation.
