Best Tile Replacement in Phoenix AZ

Jerry and his team have always taken great care of all the customers that our team at The Tile Shop Tempe send his way. They take all the stress out of the remodeling process! Desert Prestige Builders (Eric Linder and Ryan Brunelle) are incompetent and unprofessional. Eric Linder, Ryan Brunelle completely botched our 1,400 sqft tile installation.
Eric Linder admitted to not preparing the floor to ensure it was flat before installing the tile and admitted his company didn’t even own a 10ft straight edge to make sure the tile and floor was flat. They didn’t even know how to use the tile spacers correctly. They also went an extra step to prove how inept they were and put a polish on our matte porcelain tile that was not meant for use on porcelain tile. This lead to permanent unsightly streaking, hazing and clouding throughout the entire surface of the floor.
All of their incompetence and lack of skill also lead to:
-Crooked grout lines
-Unevenly laid tile throughout (so uneven in some areas that it caused tripping hazards)
-Over-grouting (grout covering corners and edges of uneven tile)
-Under-grouting (leaving deep channels between tile)
-Inconsistent grout coloring (ranging from every shade of gray to white)
They attempted to fix and replace several problem areas of the floor but failed horribly.
We hired an expert tile consultant to inspect their tile job. The expert found so many mistakes, that were so numerous, throughout the entire floor that he deemed the tile job unsalvageable, and it would therefore need to be completely demolished and replaced.
We shared the expert’s findings with Eric Linder and asked for our money back. He said he would contact us within 24 hours. We did not hear from him.
Desert Prestige still has not refunded our money. Dealing with Desert Prestige has been a nightmare. We have lost a large sum of our hard-earned money, and have had to pay again to completely replace their disastrous tile job! Please be aware that there is not adequate protection for consumers! Please do your research! Read reviews! This is the first negative review I have ever written. I hope this saves others from making the huge mistake of hiring Desert Prestige Builders, Eric Linder or Ryan Brunelle.

We have been completely satisfied with the work that they have done - we have them hired out through the next few months to continue doing work on our home. A basic professional that is knowledgeable, expert and also terrific to work with! Remodeling a cooking area is such a huge bargain that we put it off for quite time. The planning was really extensive. We had a terrific exchange of suggestions to ultimately develop the style and products we wanted and the end result shows it. We have a kitchen area remodel that is perfect for our household and also way of living.

Love our countertops now that they are in . Our sale person Sean Mucci was great!
The reason I am giving them a 3 star is the original material we ordered for our countertops end up on back order , and we ended up choose another color ,which also increased are cost of the countertops, and communication with custom service could have been better.
Also I feel the the template person and the installer should always be the same person ,that was not the case on part of our kitchen countertop install, the product is great the install could have been better .

These guys were so great. As a single mom, I don't have a lot of time to wait around for the typical contractor to show up whenever they choose. These guys actually showed up a couple minutes EARLY! So impressed. On the first visit for my quote, I feel like they actually listened to my budget and needs and gave some great feedback and ideas. When they came to do the work they were very quick and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and double tested everything to make sure it was all above par before they left. I love the improvements they made to my bathroom and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants an honest fair quote and professional work.

The scope of the project was to remove a Jacuzzi tub and shower, then install a walk in shower. The duration of the job was to be 4 weeks. From the get go the attention to detail was excellent. Extra care was taken to protect the rest of the house from dust and debris. Each of the workers involved in the job were respectful, attentive to our needs, and very nice people. The tile work on the floors and in the shower was performed by an artisan. Throughout the entire process my input was requested which I appreciated so much. We are so thrilled with the outcome and will consider using this company for some future kitchen work. The project finished on budget and ahead of schedule. What more could I ask.

Wow, guys did demo and install in half a day. Opps no water, plumber and Jose couldnt get it working. I had to go buy parts that were to be included. Four days later a great plumber fixed plumbing so we didn't have water on the floor, that was after a dozen calls. Still trying to get credit for parts I had to buy so part of install be completed. Nice granite, poor finishing.
