I had a couple light fixtures replaced. I love my new lights! The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He ensured the entire work was kept clean and my heavy furniture was all put back in place when the work was complete. Schedule was easy and convenient and I will be using them for all my projects.

Nothing but good things to say about Builders Express. They installed backsplash in our kitchen and filled in a space over our fireplace. They were quick to get the job done and the work was done to perfection. So nice to have someone you can count on!

Update: thanks for your response. Unfortunately I don’t know exactly where we were at. There were just two guys in The van at the time. Seeing how you probably have multiple vans I’m sure it’s not easy to identify. 2* for the employee and 5* for your response.

Not sure about work quality but the older guy driving in the van today was a complete jerk. We are simply waiting to get over in heavy traffic with our blinker on while he blasts his horn for about 10-15 seconds. So sorry you had to wait for 15seconds to be on you way.

Owner courteous, very organized with email job reminders and easy scheduling/contact. Owner assured me workers were vaccinated and handyman worker arrived with a mask and booties so kudos there. However, the handyman worker was coughing the entire time and smelled like tobacco, which I did not care for, being pregnant and a healthcare worker. He was aware of multiple drywall repairs ahead of time, but did not come prepared with any drywall and said he would have to go get it at HomeDepot and come back, charging me for his entire time doing this. He then stated the other dry wall repair would take 3 coats of mud, which would require 3 separate visits, one month apart due to their busy scheduling. Then charged me $10 for the first coat of mud, which was not more than a glob full and certainly not an entire container costing $10. I would have considered this part of basic supplies and I have never been charged for patch compound before. It felt a bit like I was being nickled and dimed. I think being an organized business, he could have arrived more prepared, knowing there were multiple dry wall repairs, as the list of tasks was provided ahead of time. 2 of the items on my list he could not fix. So basically I paid $165 for slightly over an hour of work, with only 2 small items checked off my list and 3 still needing repair. Honestly, felt like somewhat of a waste of time and better to hire a dry waller or DIY.

Best decision i have ever made was hiring them. I believe this is the first review i have ever written but I felt I had to. Excellent people ( even on the phone ) Great , fantastic PEOPLE - SKILLS, And more patience than I wouldve dreamed of. I would not only wholeheartedly recommend them to EVERYBODY , I could NOT be more thrilled with the outcome
of my bathroom. Im most definitely hiring them when it comes time to remodel the kitchen !!!!!

In today’s society where communication is very important I can honestly say he stayed in touch with me from the beginning of the process and well after he was finish with the work at my place. His skills are unmatched and I would recommend him to anyone and I will definitely be using him for repairs in the future!!!

My first experience with Fixer was a 10/10 experience. I reached out to them because one night our Air Handler was not turning on and flashing a low voltage warning to our nest thermostat. I called 3 different HVAC companies and finally got one out the next day. Quick analysis showed that the unit was perfectly fine, but it appeared to be an electrical issue with the outlet that the unit was plugged into. Queue the real headache of the service industry:

1.) Called a local electrician, quoted a 200 diagnostics fee just for showing up and then parts and labor would be on top. Soonest availability was 4 weeks out.
2.) Called another 'national' electrician, quoted a 150 fee for showing up and additional hours would be 75 per hour with parts and labor. Earliest availability was 2 months out!
3.) Discovered Fixer online and filled out the repair request based on what i knew. Was quoted $119 for the first hour and then everything would be prorated to the minute there after. Felt reasonable and the best part was they could get someone there the next day. My fixer showed up, was extremely professional and quickly diagnosed the issue that the HVAC company could not. Upon diagnosing the issue, my fixer explained everything that he was going to try and then explained what could be the root cause. 1 trip to the hardware store for parts and my fixer was completed with the project. Two burnt out electrical switches and plugs and everything was back up good as new. Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. total cost $200 with parts and labor.

So quickly said, if you value your time, want transparency with what is actually occurring with your problem, and want top of the line customer service, give Fixer a shot. Could not be happier with their work.

Very happy and was well advised to upgrade from 50 cfm bathroom fan to 80 cfm. Also cleaned out all the nasty dust!

I had an odd ball problem with my bike, my local bike shop turned me away, two weeks out, Arid Valley had me back on my bike the same day! I was so impressed, I later used them to replace my shower faucet.
