I hired Derek at Keten Maintenance & Repairs to do several jobs at my business, rental property, and my personal residence. Here's why he's the guy for the job:

He's on time, he communicates, he is honest, has a great attitude, and has extremely fair pricing.

1. Punctuality - For years I have had issues with handymen being late and oftentimes not showing up at all. Derek is always right on time and doesn't waste time between tasks. I always feel I get every penny's worth on my projects.

2. Honesty - Derek is 100% transparent with the cost of supplies. He even accompanied me to Home Depot to help me select the right hardware and project items to ensure I didn't overpay or end up getting the wrong items for the job and used several pieces of hardware he already had on his truck at no extra charge.

3. Amazing attitude - I have dealt with handymen in the past that feel their skillset is too advanced for small tasks or basic things I simply don't have the time to do myself. Derek was friendly, personable, and enthusiastic about every project I threw at him, from complex tasks like a custom hinge replacement on a self-closing door at my restaurant to weed removal at my rental property. He was not only happy to help, but was genuinely enthusiastic about adding the work to his day's tasks.

4. Fair pricing - Derek proved to me that he is an experienced problem solver with a deep set of knowledge from years of professional repair and maintenance. There wasn't anything I had for him that he couldn't do and do well. The bang for your buck with him his the best I've experienced in 15 years of using handymen in the Phoenix area. My prior handyman recently retired and Derek was happy to match his rates and pick up where he left off.

Derek is the prototype for a great repair/maintenance/handy person. Save yourself the frustration of being stood up by other less capable and more expensive people and add him in your contact list.

I'm a pretty handy gal but needed some assistance installing a toilet in my guest bathroom upstairs. I cames came in and had installed super quick and hauled away my old toilet. Super happy girl over here!! I was looking for a handyman for awhile and he will be my go-to handyman the next time I need help.

Lee was on time, very polite, very professional and seemed to be very comfortable with the two issues I asked him to look at - a shower that wouldn't turn on and a front door latch that stuck so that it was almost impossible to open the door. Chris was great to work with. I first reached out to a couple other handymen and left voicemails but never heard back from either company. I did another search and found Priority One so I submitted a quote request through their website. I received an e-mail response within the hour which was a pleasant surprise seeing as how the previous companies completely ignored me. I was given a quote early the following morning which I approved and the repairs were scheduled for later that week. Chris arrived on time and was very friendly. One of my projects was replacing my bathroom faucet that had a slow leak. Chris explained that the faucet just needed a new seal and didn't actually need to be completely replaced. I really appreciated his honesty and will definitely recommend him to others in the future.

Joey assisted with several projects in my home. His detail and dedicated was amazing especially for the price. Will definitely be using Two Pi Handyman services again! I will recommend Joey to anyone needing a handyman.

Very affordable and quality work. Alonso closed off our laundry door that was in our kitchen ( to make space for a pantry) and made a new door in our family room. He also replaced all our bedroom doors and the outlets in our kitchen. He is personable and professional. Would definitely recommend

Oscar is top notch. He came out to help us out on Easter Sunday since it was an emergency and we had to shut off our water. Didn’t upcharge the parts and was super friendly and very helpful. We had a lot going on in our family and he made it so easy. Will hire him for future jobs.

We refer our friends and clients to James Wagner Construction. Our clients rave about their work and attention to detail. They fix drywall, paint interiors and do beautiful cabinet work/repair. They have painted my house and built a drywall television nook. We will continue to refer him.

Could not get through, phone call transferred multiple times, felt like I was at a national warehouse rather than a local business

I would be very wary of using Lundsford handyman services. Read full post for full experience but long story short, we paid up front for 6 interior doors and paint to be installed and now almost 5 months later we have no doors and received only half of our money back and have to look into small claims for the remaining. Multiple no call no shows to at least deliver us our materials so we could find someone else to install plus we offered to pick them up ourselves. Now from this experience I am so worried about hiring anyone else to get our job done this has caused a lot of anxiety. We normally do a lot of DIY but we’re really looking for experienced help which we were told he had to get this one right. This might sound first world problemish but we have a really bad problem with our hollow core doors expanding in summer to the point they scrape really bad or we can’t close them at all which is super difficult with a newborn and we’re so looking forward to having this done. This has been such a negative experience I wonder who else this service has taken advantage of. See below for full experience.

We hired Chase to do a job April 28th and paid for materials up front and labor due upon completion. Scheduled for June 18th after supposed material delivery delays. June 17th I texted confirmation that he would be here next day for install. June 18th he messaged saying some family stuff came up and would update asap. Supposedly then he has had family drama and Covid and his carpenter got Covid (we were not even aware that anyone else was involved to complete our job). Didn’t hear any news back until July 7 that he would deliver our materials to us as soon as he had a truck available (what kind of handyman doesn’t have a truck). I responded my husband has a truck and can pick up our stuff anytime. July 8 he said he will bring that weekend. No response to multiple calls/texts (never answers calls and only texts back days later) until July 14 that will bring everything Monday or Tuesday and complete install the following week. Nothing until July 22 that he will bring the next day. No response to call/text again until July 25 will bring the next day. July 27 will be here Friday. Then Saturday. Then Sunday. Monday I asked for reimbursement if he can’t deliver them. Then looking back I see he ordered per the screenshot sent the wrong size materials ??‍♀️. I finally said we will go route of small claims if he does not reimburse us at this point. He argued he can’t return at this point and that I should have requested reimbursement sooner ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️. This guy has been jerking us around for almost 4 months now. Home Depot said they can give us full store credit if brought without a receipt and can order correct size ourselves. I said we can give one more chance to bring our stuff as promised and we can get our credit ourselves. Supposedly now he already initiated return and needs a few days to scrape together money to reimburse us since can only get 75% refund himself. Also asking not to leave any negative reviews that his life is in shambles. He has been completing and posting other jobs on his Facebook page in the meantime. We received half reimbursement 8/10/22 and other half still not sent to us and it is now 8/24/22
