I would give 10 stars if I could. They are a great company that is honest and transparent. Their technicians, especially Vincent (Vinny), are very knowledgeable and are more than willing to explain to you what is going on every step of the way. You don't feel in the dark like I have in the past dealing with HVAC companies. They did such a great job and their customer service was so great we ended up enrolling in their maintenance program right after they fixed our AC. Can't recommend this company highly enough.

Dalton came out to the house to do an inspection on the heating and AC unit. He was courteous and professional his entire visit. He let me know what was possibly going to go out on the AC Unit and it confirmed some of my suspicions. He also went over some service details such as cost with and without a membership on their monthly plans. I am very happy with this Company and their technicians and will probably sign up for the monthly plan to help save time and money.

I had several disparate tasks - from connecting a tv to hanging heavy outdoor plants. Fort Worth Home Repair was responsive to my time crunch and scheduled a technician quickly. He executed all of the jobs I had initially listed plus several others in good order. He was efficient, personable, friendly and very, very neat. I will definitely use the service again.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
