I was very displease. My husband and I wanted to have someone come out look at our AC to maintenance it and see if we needed any repairs before summer hit. They notice we needed a new over flow pan. We got sold on the maintenance plan to get a discount on our repairs; and they shared what all they do to maintain my AC. We signed up and waited for a part to come in. Three week later, I called to check on the part. -- The response was... oh yes, it is in. When would you like for us to come out? Glad I called.... They come out do the repairs, but no maintenance was done. I called the office and they explained to me that the maintenance would be provided once we have paid for a full year of service. ??? That to me is counter productive. A year of no maintenance only increases the possibility of needing repairs. I talked to a representative, she promised someone would call me back, but I never received that call. How stupid am I.. I paid for a discount and possible more repairs because I did not maintenance my unit in two years.

David Lutrell of Fort Worth Home Repair installed a door bell, door bell chime, wiring, junction box, circuit breaker, and Google Hello camera in my home. He showed up on time with excellent communication when we was expected to arrive, he was friendly and knowledge. He evaluated what he needed, recognized he did not have the proper tools and scheduled a follow up appointment for a few days later on the spot. He showed up on time at the second appointment and did the install correctly with no problems. For the amount of work he did for me, I feel like was he is fairly priced. I will definitely be giving David Lutrell and Fort Worth Home Repair more business.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
