We asked for recommendations from our neighborhood HOA website when we needed electrical work done and were told about SJO. We have subsequently worked with Ed and his team to do extensive electrical work at our house on multiple occasions including installing a new electrical panel, new lights, switches, adding new circuits to add power to our garage and quite a bit more. I have worked with so many contractors over the years and SJO is one of only two that I have NOT regretted hiring. Ed has given us great advice on the work we needed done, including telling us the most cost effective ways to accomplish what we wanted to do. The team of electricians is friendly, careful in their work, always on time, performed the work properly in a timely manner and delivered what we wanted. The price has always been reasonable and well in line with what competitors charge. I feel very confident recommending SJO. I will hire them every time I need more electrical work.

They are always so responsive and so helpful. Bill took the time to listen (a rate quality anymore), check out the problem thoroughly, to photos, explained everything, then went above and beyond to make sure all was well till I could get my carpenter to finish the job. He then inspected the panel and 2 other areas I had some issues, explained options and then they checked back the next day to make sure it was all good. As a senior, this kind of care and help is priceless. I will call for Bill now whenever I need electrical work.

I stopped by to ask a quick question about a residential wiring issue that I had, i’d taken multiple pictures and was well prepared for any answer. Unfortunately a sign on the door says visitors by appointment only, I called and spoke to “Larry” , He didn’t seem interested in even coming out from behind a desk to talk to me, or even look at the pictures, I get that it wouldn’t have netted him any income, but in the interest of good PR probably should’ve made the effort. Based On this experience I will not be contacting them for any of my residential electrical needs which from what it looks like would be possibly rewiring my home
