Justin and his apprentice (Alex I think) were on time and spent 12 hours doing a multitude of jobs which included an entire panel replacement. They were as kind, respectful, and professional at hour 12 as they were at hour 1. Justin explains everything as he goes so you know exactly what the problem is and what will be required to fix it. We didn’t even bother to get other quotes because after chatting with Justin, we knew why he came so highly recommended. Very happy with our experience and highly recommend! Andrew, owner of AC Electrical Contractors, responded quickly to my Yelp search for an electrician. I needed a new EV charger installed in my garage after purchasing a new Tesla. Prior to finding Andrew, I found and scheduled a large electrical company to give me a quote. That electrician came and gave me an estimate that I felt was extremely high. After multiple failed attempts to connect with other electricians on Angi, AC Electrical Contractor reached out within one hour of me submitting my request on Yelp. Andrew was on time for our scheduled estimate appointment. I felt that he was sincere, honest, and extremely reasonable cost. I cancel all my previous scheduled estimates but decided to reach out to a local neighborhood electrician on Nextdoor. After too many texting, scheduling conflicts and recommendations, I decided to use Andrew to install my charger.

We were able to set up a convenient time for him to start the project, which was within one week. He arrived a little late but he notified me immediately that morning, which I thought was very professional and courteous! Andrew was able to successfully install a brand new EV charger outlet in my garage with wiring through across my basement to the rear electrical panel within 3 hours. He showed me his work and tested the new charger to ensure that it was functional. His final charges were exactly as he estimated and there were no problems with the transaction.

I highly recommend Chris and his team for home electrical work if you want the job done right at a reasonable price. We have worked with Chris twice, first in 2017 when our dryer didn’t work due to a fuse problem. It was a small job, but he got everything working again quickly, and did so with great empathy for our situation. We were also able to start planning for a much larger job that we weren’t able to afford at the time, and Chris just said “call me when you’re ready.” It took five years for it to be financially feasible, but in 2022 we had Chris come back out. Him and his excellent team helped us with many upgrades, including new lights, fans, electrical panel, and washer/dryer hook ups. All this was done in one day, and there wasn’t a speck of dust left behind. The work was done exactly as requested and cost exactly as was quoted. A few other projects were done over subsequent days, and one that we originally thought needed to be done actually didn’t, thanks to Chris’ honesty we were informed of this and we were able to save thousands of dollars. I appreciated being able to communicate directly with Chris via phone, text and in person meetings. I appreciated his respect for keeping a clean and intact living space for us during the work, working while my wife and kids were around, getting the job done right and exactly as quoted, and in all communications. He is an informal and easy going guy, our invoice was a sticky note, that worked great for us. He can sometimes take a day or two to respond to texts, but he was great at making sure we were on the same page and I was up to date the entire time. I couldn’t recommend him more.
