Best Ceiling Repair in Dallas TX

I placed a service call for a simple inspection of a switch I was concerned was shorting and replacement of another switch. In all, the tech recommended replacing another switch as well and handed me an estimate for $659.That’s right: two switches and an inspection of another switch for $659.I said, “no thanks”.He then offers to do the job for $412.Again, I say, no thanks.He makes a final offer of $179 to replace a switch and inspect the other for a short and I agree. In the end, he didn’t even have the switch (his dispatch said they carry inventory that they guarantee- they offer no guarantee/warranty on switches you provide them from Home Depot), so we accomplished little more than inspecting a light switch for $179. I guess he could tell how disappointed I was and ended up charging my card for $120.Make no mistake, Mr. Electric is very friendly. However, haggling with their tech over a $659 gouge is frustrating- and I STILL have to have another electrician out to have this switch replaced.

Great team. Took a week to get out here but right on time, and did great work. Technician talked us through the issue so we could avoid in the future. Great experience.

I’d give them a zero if I could but unfortunately one star is the lowest you can go. I made an appointment for the Voute family and they told me between one and 4 PM. They were supposedly a “local” electrician so we chose them. They never showed so I called the office and they assured me that I was on the schedule and the gentleman was running late. Fast forward a couple hours and no one showed. The next day no one called and no one showed up, not that I thought they would the following day anyway. If you want to waste your time sitting around all day waiting for a company then this is your company. Wor this actually going to show up to do the work that you need done

Damon was in and out of our house within an hour when our insurance company said they would have to drill into the wall, etc. You guys are great!

I have to start off saying how professional he was and on time. He explained what the problem was in detail. He checked everything and recommended some updates going forward. He was courteous and polite. Please reach if you're in need of some electrical work.

I called Edward Durant because we were noticing a hot smell from the light fixture in a ceiling fan. He came out the same day (arrived in less than an hour and one-half from the call), checked out the switch and fixture and then noticed that one of the light bulbs had some charred goo on it. We replaced the bulb, which seemed to take care of the issue, and he didn't even charge us! We will certainly call him if/when we need an electrician in the future.

Would definitely recommend this company. Great communication from initial conversations to the very end with finished installation. Not only did they install an electrical outlet, but a 65 TV, Soundbar, and PS5. Will definitely be reaching out for further work.

Service was fast and effective. Scheduling was easy and everyone very friendly. I would give it 3.5 stars really.My issue was the price. We had 1 wall in the master randomly lose power. The tech quoted $400 just to dig in and figure out why which I thought was super high. When he got in, there was aluminum wiring which is apparently incident prone. Overall, I paid $650 to fix 2 plugs that were causing the issue. I think the price is high for what was less than 2 hours of work which was also including his initial breaker check and explanations. The actual fix didn’t take more than 45 minutes... I would probably call someone else next time due to that. Although super nice people.

Peter saved us over $7000 last week when our downstairs air conditioner went out. A/C people said we needed a new unit while Peter came in, crawled under the foundation and discovered it was a fried wire to the fusebox. Fixed it on the spot and A/C is working just fine. He also seems to be extremely knowledgeable about wiring in older houses, which is an extra added bonus as we live in Lakewood. Can't recommend him enough.

Awesome electrician! We had a few light fixtures that needed to be replaced in our two bathrooms so we gave this company a call and we're glad we did! The owner was super knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. He was on time, professional and got the job done quickly! We'll be using him again in the near future to have recessed lightning installed in or living room as we continue to remodel.
