I called Electric Pros on a whim hoping they would be open at 7pm two days before Thanksgiving because my husband and I needed help hanging a chandelier we thought we could do on our own. Jackson with Electric Pros answered and promptly set a next day (day before Thanksgiving) consult appointment to give me an accurate quote. He came in, was able to hang our Chandelier same day and it only took him 30 minutes tops and it looks AMAZING! Thank you guys for helping us out you’ve made our day and our nursery!

They need to do quality work from the start...period! I spent $1,800 for 5 outside LED lights. The lights failed within weeks (knocking out almost half my home's electric, including the tankless water heater). The second tech that came out, said the lights weren't installed using ground contact equipment; poor quality. He replaced the boxes, but not the conduit...about 5 months later the lights failed again when water filled the boxes. The third tech (Angel) was awesome, he sealed the boxes with silicone and installed a GFI to localize any additional failure. I agreed to the $221 for the GFI install; paid the invoice. I also paid for a service call and diagnostic time even though the invoices clearly say there's a 5-year parts and labor warranty...not sure why? From that service call, the lights still didn't work and it was determined that photocell was bad. Electric Pros sent me an additional invoice for $259 to have it replaced. I've refused to pay the bill...21 Nov 19: Update....lights aren't working again! Can't get anyone to return our calls or emails for repair. $2,000 for work to date...will have to take legal action to get money back!

Work performed Oct 2018.Was in need of a competent electrician to address a partial circuit outage that affected only about half the power feeds on a single AFCI circuit. Some Light switches and outlets worked some didn't. Home built in 2004 when Codes for AFCI type breaker installs were fairly new. At that time only Bedrooms were required to have AFCI type circuit breakers. This home had 2 Bedroom areas on AFCI circuits. After executing routine problem isolation troubleshooting the Electrician identified a failed outlet that showed physical signs of overheating. AFCI Breaker should have tripped before resulting in this level of Electric Outlet failure. So Electrician preceded to check all outlets and switches on this circuit to verify no others showed any signs of failure. At this point 2 part replacement needs identified. 1 outlet and 1 AFCI Breaker. 2nd AFCI Breaker did not trip when test button pressed. Conclusion is both AFCI breaker, 14 years old 1st generation models were compromised and in need of replacement. So far 5 star service...Electrician was excellent.I do not have a problem with vendors marking up parts to a certain extent and charging a reasonable labor rate for their expertise that helps cover their over head with a decent profit charge built in....It's how the economics of any specialized service business works. However the quoted installation + part + (warranty?) Final Quoted installed cost per AFCI was $267 each x 2. Time to install both after tech returned from supply house was 20 minutes. He did not have in stock on his truck. I'm ok with some time being factored into obtaining the part. The cost of the Eaton 15 amp AFCI circuit breaker runs around $25 to any consumer online. So the installed cost was a 10 x factor which by any measure seems excessive. Average Top end Labor cost for a skilled Electrician is around $130. Cost of Parts was no more than $50.A Reasonable Max charge for replacing these 2 AFCI breakers should have been in the $180-200 range. Amount charged and paid was $534. I knew I was being way overcharged for that part of the service but decided that I did not want to delay the work to shop for a more reasonable rate as the affected area involved a space occupied by an infant. I'm at a point in life where I prefer to let others learn lessons from my experiences. The Vendor should already know that short term profit gains are no substitute for long term repeat business and word of mouth advertising. Although Electric Pros had decent reviews, which is why I selected them, I will likely look for another vendor when I contract for some additional upcoming work.Unfortunately, although I really liked the technician and wanted to provide a great review, the cost markup on the easiest part of the job was ludicrously excessive. I had already expected the Breakers would need replacing after preliminary Joe Homeowner analysis but was flabbergasted by the upcharge.Caveat Emptor. The $$'s involved was irrelevant to me. The main disappointment was in the Vendors lack of economic fairness and integrity in how they treated a customer without regard for any future business repercussions. How much potential business they may possibly lose in the future, after individual large or small customers read this review is difficult to measure. It will however cost them considerably more in lost potential revenue than the extra $300-400 they made from a single customer I will also not be able to provide a recommendation for this Vendor to local Homeowners Associations and several large local Real Estate companies who provide preferred vendors list to their buyers and sellers in the DFW metro area.

Did a great job fixing our electrical problem. They immediately knew what the problem was, and had it corrected in the same amount of time it took a previous electrician just to look at it. You can definitely tell they are good at what they do. The price was better than our other quotes as well. Great job Electric Pros we will definitely use your company for all of our electrical work in the future.

Highly recommend Electric Pros! I can not say enough good things about this company, the owner and his employees. They were able to schedule the job in my home for the next day and gave me a fair and reasonable quote for the work. The electrician called before coming and was on time. He was courteous and explained to me what he was going to do to fix our breaker problem. We are extremely satisfied, a big thanks to Electric Pros

We had Electric Pros scheduled to install a kitchen chandelier and replace two ceiling fans last week. The chandelier is fancy, and I knew it would take a few hours to install. But the tech said it would take two people 6 - 8 hours, and cost $1147! $1147 to install a chandelier! Knowing this sounded crazy, I called the company we bought the fixture from - they said it should take one person a few hours. I explained this to the tech, and asked if he wanted to speak with the manufacturer to see if he thought the job was more complicated than it was. He pushed back forcefully, said he'd done hundreds of these very chandeliers (he clearly has not), and tried to convince me that the job was extremely difficult and time consuming, and that he was uniquely qualified to do it right. I said thanks, but let me get another estimate. Well, today, another licensed, bonded, highly regarded electrician installed the chandelier (carefully and expertly) in about 3 hours. It cost me $578.

Jackson (no relation) came to the house and quickly found the reason why my circuit breaker kept flipping. He explained my options and gave me time to make a decision. He then returned two days later and made the necessary changes to my system. I feel safer and I know that the job was done correctly. Great guy working for a great company!

The service provided by David B from Electric Pros was so outstanding in the beginning. Thought he was working to help us fix some dim lighting issues...he replaced all can lights in our condo- come to find out they were not compatible with our dimmers, which has caused major flickering issues, plus the color does not correspond well with other lighting in our home. I can not get any follow through- we had 1 follow up visit where staff identified issues & took a few bulbs promising to come back to remedy.....it has been weeks, just want this fixed!

What a great company! He brought a tall ladder and replaced a smoke alarm and put in an LED light in in my 20 feet ceiling, which was a feat in itself; plus he fixed and cleaned my blinds up there which I could never reach. Then he discontinued an old Verizon battery that was beeping and driving me crazy, and then he replaced two more smoke alarm batteries. As far as I am concerned he went above and beyond to help me and I can not say enough good stuff .

Electric pros not only added awesome stage lights in our children's church room, but also corrected some old wiring that had been installed incorrectly. (This was not a planned fix, they did it because they truly cared about our safety) They were so professional and kind! They even vacuumed up the room before they left! I would wholeheartedly recommend Justin and his team at Electric Pros!

Had 3 other electricians in to have my panel replaced (panel was by the company which went out of business for their cheaper panels bursting into flames). Justin was the only person of the 4 to tell me that my panel did NOT, in fact, require replacement. Just for the honesty, I hired him for other upgrade work in the home. Integrity to a fault - thats what I can recommend for this company.

Work to replace a stairway chandelier was done very well. The new one was shorter in chain length so the electrician offered to add some of the existing chain to the new one to give it more length. We appreciated the offer, and the extra work.Price was accepted based on use of a lift, but due to the narrow stairs it could not be used so they added another electrician to assist. I felt the discount with no use of the lift could have been more than what was offered, but the addition of a second electrician may had to compensate for such.We would use them again, no doubt.

I've used Electric Pros twice in the last six months and both times I have been very pleased with their professionalism, their courtesy, their work and their prices. Justin Klump runs his business the old-fashioned way; I think their mission statement could be The Golden Rule. (Special thanks to Dan for solving my most recent mystery problem with the electricity in my kitchen).

When I called them to get an estimate to fix a minor issue, they said they would charge me 49$ for service charge. I was fine with that. They came and looked at the issue and said they would charge me 125$ to fix the issue. I wasstill ok with that. They removed the lights looked at it and said I need to replace the whole thing and said they need to charge me 90$ extra to replace it on top of 125$ +49$ service charge. So I asked them why are they charging me 125$ for. They said it's diagnostic. But I was never mentioned about a diagnostic fee of 125$ when I called in the first place. Only the 49$ to come down and check. Don't know why little things which take 30-45 minutes to fix for a technician takes hundreds of dollars. Expensive.

I have used another company for 20+ years but they seldom returned my call even in an emergency. I decided to look for another company and tried Electric Pros. Julie answered my call and hustled to get an electrician to my business that day. I called them again for another issue and they diagnosed the problem and fixed it promptly. These guys are my new go to electricians. Thanks Electric Pros!Ellen AmirkhanOriental Rug Cleaning Co. Since 1911Dallas, TX 75204

I called to get an estimate for installing two dimmer light switches at an existing outlet serving as a junction point. I repeatedly asked the phone rep for a ballpark estimate over the phone or any ballpark estimate for a simple job - to give me an idea of their hourly rate and what it might cost. She refused - stating only the electricians can quote prices and they can't do that until they are onsite. I was also told there would be a $49 service fee for the visit, regardless of whether I get any work done or not. The guy comes onsite and doesn't have a clue what to do with the dimmer switches that I purchased for him to install, and asks if he can borrow my laptop to surf the web looking for information on it. Even worse, he is under the impression that he and I are hangin out and proceeds to waste my time talking about his plans for the weekend, and how I should check out this spot or that spot. At the end of all of this - he quotes me $1,000 to install dimmer switches. UNBELIEVABLE! $1000?!?!? Responding to my shock, he tells me that the cheapest light switch would cost $50-$60 to install per fixture. REALLY?!? WELL WHY THE HECK DIDN'T YOUR PHONE REP JUST CITE THAT JOB PRICE FOR A BASIC LIGHT SWITCH AND I WOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY EXTRAPOLATED THAT YOU GUYS CHARGE WAY MORE THAN I WANTED TO PAY FOR THIS JOB?!?!? $50 for a service fee; $50 wasted for NOTHING. I got absolutely NOTHING useful out of this guy's visit to my house. Just pure frustration. Will never bother to call these guys again for any job. They don't care about doing right by the customer or being courteous, just padding their bottom line.

The preacher Eddie klump is a thief. He took money from my family and me and didnt complete the job. He claims to be a preacher at the cowboy church in Wichita falls. I wonder what his congregation will think when I let them know what a crook he is. I advise not to use this company as he will screw you, like he did his own son! Still owes employees money, including his son. This man is being sued by multiple electrical supply houses due to him being a thief and not paying his bills. Could you imagine having a lein put on your property because this thief didnt pay for the supplies he used at your house? Way to go Eddie, you man of God thief. You will go where you deserve to be, HELL!!!
