Didnt get an estimate up front as to why my garage breaker wouldnt reset. Anyways, it took maybe 15 minutes top to unplug a cord to my garage door opener to determine why it would'nt turn back on and that repair cost was $158.00. I don't use the garage door opener, so I don't care about it working. The plug was for a light only because it is not an automatic opener. I'm very discouraged about the experience because I've used this company to replace my entire fuse box and they grounded all the wires and had another visit approx a year later to have a bathroom fan and outlet installed. I'll probably consult with another electrician next time. $158.00 to unplug a cord is astronomical. I've also used the plumbing portion of this company for many services and repairs. Now that I reviewed the site, I noticed that I could have gotten a $50.00 discount on the services as well. Smh

The workers, Cort and Jim, let me know when they were on their way and were professional and friendly. They put in a new over head fan/light in my sunroom. They checked everything on my list, changed an outlet or two and replaced a closet light. I learned quite a bit from them. Now I need to buy a couple under the counter lights and I will be calling Higher Power Electric again when I’m ready to have the new lights put in. I will also be having them replace my outdated dimmer switches. Thanks, guys!

I called Steven when my A/c Unit wasn’t turning on. It was 90 degrees that day so it was very urgent. He was there within two hours. He explained to me what he would be looking for and assured me it would be fixed in a timely manner. It took him about 15 minutes to trouble shoot my AC unit and my newly installed Nest system. He discovered it was a blown fuse and quickly replaced it. I know nothing about AC systems and Steven could have easily told me there was a major issue and charged me a lot of money to “fix” the problem. Instead he was honest. I really appreciate it and I would recommend his service to anyone. That’s God for people like Steven who do honest work!!!!!
