The team of Erik S and April arrived on time ready to work. They worked efficiently to complete the diagnostic. They gave us 3 levels of estimates that ranged from 1) just what we asked for, 2) additional to make us safe, and 3) what would be needed to bring the electrical system up to code (whole house surge protection, dual grounding, arc-fault breakers ) .The options were presented with no sales pitch/pressure. They explained everything and answered our many questions.We chose option 3.Their team dynamic was outstanding. They worked extremely well together. Both were expertly knowledgeable.After the work was completed, they did a thorough review of all work done. They removed all construction scrap including old fixtures and fans, and all debris.They were very respectful of our home, They wore shoe covers to protect our flooring, and were extremely careful manuvering ladders throughout our home.We will definitely be recommending them to family, friends, and neighbors.

Fast and friendly

Great Service! I called a friend of mine and asked for an honest electrician to fix our melted outlet that caused 3 rooms to lose power. I told him if we needed to wait a couple days that we could. He knew our child's room was also without electric. He came right out within an hour! Found out it was just the outlet. I was so worried I was going to get advice that my entire house needed rewired or something. He even vacuumed his mess afterwards. I have never seen a contractor do that. If you are looking for an honest and fast electrician this is the guy. Thank you a ton Glen you are awesome.

My husband and I have used Bob from Arlington Electric on several occasions and have been very pleased with the service!

First we used him for a garbage disposal switch that sparked and had to be held up hard for the garbage disposal to be turned on. He fixed this, tested it for safety, and while he was at it, saw some outlets that should have been GFCI but were not so he went out, got the parts, and replaced those too!

Then we used him to route wires from our mounted tv through the wall so no wires would show. The in-wall pipes were PVC pips (not what you want to use in your wall, 90 degree turns in narror pipes don’t work). After we tried for HOURS unsuccessful, Bob was able to put together a contraption to vacuum a small plastic balloon attached to our wires to get the cords through!

We also used him to re-route electric lighting in our basement to a light switch so we didn’t have to walk through the dark, unfinished basement to turn on lights. And most recently he helped us check our main floor lights on dimmer switches to see if the dimmers were LED compatible and see if the affected lights were LED or not.

I have complete confidence in his abilities to take care of any electric needs quickly and safely. In a 100-year old house I needed someone that I could trust to not take short cuts or compromise on safety and that’s what I like best about Bob!
