Best Light Fixture Installation in Chicago IL

STS electric has been great to us and we are forever grateful for their commitment to safety. One thing you don't want to mess with is your electrical stuff.

I called this electrician from a recommendation from my realtor and Im glad I did. Before hiring Skyline, I had another electrician over to figure out why my microwave wasn't working and for 1 hour the OTHER electrician just put the test in and out of the plug, and after an hour they didn't fix anything but charged me. I called Skyline and they came over, understood what the issue was in a matter of minutes and came back the next day with all the supplies to fix my electrical box. Before they did that, I got an estimate from another company and they said it would be 3x more since they would replace the whole unit. Skyline said that was not needed, and helped me find a more adorable solution that fixed my problem! My microwave works now, my electrical box is compliant (before it was breaking all sorts of regulations) and Ive hired them again to work on some light fixtures. It's hard finding a trustworthy electrician and I'm glad I found one in Chicago. Will 100% recommend them to family and friends

These guys are absolutely AWESOME!Kemal took my initial request and was so attentive scheduling Raul and Jose to install several light fixtures in my Rogers Park condo.They removed an old ceiling fan from my bedroom and replaced it with a new ceiling fan I purchased. They also installed a new fixture in my dining room and living room. The new fixtures were still in the boxes, so they put everything together too, saving me hours of frustration. The guys were so patient, showed up on time, put booties on their feet and wore their masks.With the new fixtures, I decided to replace ugly wall sconces and contacted Kemal again and he sent someone over in 1 hour! This time Elvir arrived and once again, put booties on over his shoes and wore his mask. Elvir is super tall, 6'6 so he didn't even need a ladder! He carefully measured and made sure the sconces were even. Everything looks GREAT!Highlights Chicago are the best!!!

We're looking to perform a complete electrical overhaul on a recently purchased three flat (the wiring is extremely old and overall... not good). I called All Power for an estimate, and Tony was a pleasure to talk to. He got to the appointment early (checking ahead to make sure I was available), then laid out a couple of different approaches we could take to help me save money or, if I preferred, go all-in for a kind of deluxe option that would loop in other related repairs he could connect us with, such as drywall, plumbing, etc, via fellow contractors he's networked with. I appreciated his openness and honesty regarding the scope of the project, as well as the various options presented. We've definitely got a lot of thinking to do yet, but Tony was extremely helpful in helping us understand the ins and outs of what's to come.

The two men who came by for a quote told me they were able to do it on the spot, and they were so nice and reasonably priced (called quite a few places for quotes) so I went with them and I'm so glad I did! Everything was done quickly and professionally. I'm only calling them from now on! Thanks guys!

We recently purchased a house and used A to Z to install several lights/fans and to fix some smaller electrical issues from our inspection report. Peter was prompt in replying to my request for a quote to install 3 new ceiling fans in my condo. His quote was reasonable and he made it easy to set an appointment. He promptly followed up with insurance information for our HOA. Before the day of installation, Peter texted to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment he was prompt, polite and mindful of COVID 19 restrictions. He worked efficiently and was able to install all 3 fans within a reasonable amount of time, keeping areas clean and in order when he was finished. I would highly recommend Peter V of Paul Electric Inc. for these types of projects.

I've hired Diaz Electrical Contracting twice. I was so happy with the first job that they did that I didn't bother to call anyone else the second time. They are quick to respond, dependable, reasonably priced and do high quality work. They installed the wiring for my hot tub and then installed recessed lightning in my kitchen. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Neuman Electrical Services are highly responsible and most recently had someone out for an emergency within a half hour of my call. When the technician arrived, tech used booties in the home and wore a mask. He was knowledgeable and thorough and even found a dangerous problem we didn’t know we had and fixed it immediately. Great company to work with!

Pat came on time, was professional, quite personable, and educated me in the newer technologies of lighting. He helped me make the right choice for replacing my old fluorescent fixture. I endorse Pat.

They damaged our wood floor with their ladder and completely scratched up the ceiling when installing the chandelier. AND they were very overpriced. Would not recommend. Take your business elsewhere.

Complete rip off! $139 service fee just for an estimate (which should be free). If you decide to get the work done, you'll pay for that on top of the $139.

Brightside electric was responsive, professional, and sympathetic to my situation. They had to make 2 trips for my installation, due to my oversight. Would use them again. I will endorse them to anyone needing electrical services.
