Best Outlet/Switch Installation in Chicago IL

I would highly recommend STS Electrician. Paul was nice enough to stop by my home to see the project and give me an estimate to install a 220V outlet for a dryer. e for a gas dryer and recommended an awesome plumber. Mike explained all the details of the quote and looked out for my best interest in short and long term value. Thank you Paul and Mike for caring about the customer and giving me a fast, honest response.

Just moved into my new condo and wanted a Nest thermostat to replace my old setup. I purchased the device from Best Buy and asked them to install it but the Geek Squad dropped the ball in scheduling my appointment and I grew very frustrated.Skyline came to the rescue and took on the project. What I didn't realize was that my heat/ac setup was unique and complex. Knowing this I realized that I picked the right company to do this. What I found reassuring was that Kent, who completed the project, was a certified Nest installer.Kent was very helpful in walking me through each step of his installation process. Through no fault of his own he found that the first device I purchased was defective. We exchanged the bad Nest for a new one and the installation was finally completed.Overall I think anyone else would have given up due to how complex the setup of my heating/cooling unit. But Kent kept at it and found a solution to my needs. I highly recommend Skyline. I plan on calling Kent again in a few months as I need a ceiling fan installed in my 2nd bedroom. Thanks so much Kent and Skyline for all your help and hard work!!!

All of these 5 star reviews aren't wrong. I found Highlights via a google search as I was looking for an electrician to install a chandelier and dimmer switch. Seeing the great responses I gave them a call and am glad I did. I spoke with Kamal who was able to send someone out the next afternoon. Raul, the technician who came, was amazing. Showed up in a mask, took off his shoes (even though I didn't ask) and was super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I love my new light fixture, and am so happy to have found a professional, reliable place to turn for future electrical needs. Oh, and cost of service was reasonable as well...I highly recommend!

Antonio is fantastic. Cares about doing it right, leaves everything clean, sought our input on every step. Super friendly, honest, responsive. We hired him to add some electrical outlets and a switch in preparation for a cabinet installation. Our vintage condo is not the easiest to work with, and he sought the best solutions that left minimal impact to our walls and prepared everything thoughtfully for the cabinet installers. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Jack’s team came in and did a complete home inspection and repaired a light above my wife’s sink. My marriage has been saved now that the light is fixed. Very fair pricing and excellent work!

When we needed to have electrical work done on our home, it was easy to decide to contact A to Z since we have used them successfully in the past. We provided a list of necessary work and we reviewed it with A to Z. They went over the list with us when they completed the job. The charge was fair. Workers came on time and did the work in a professional and timely manner. They advised us that repairing something we thought necessary wasn't necessary at all.I would definitely recommend working with this company. They were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They were available after the job to address any concerns.One of the projects A to Z Electric completed was what I called an” electric spider web” in our basement utility room. As you can see by the photos, A to Z Electric was successful at repairing this.

We had a small outlet fire that led to us making a decision to get our entire home rewired and brought up to code. Let me first start with this company is OUTSTANDING! My experience was great from start to finish. I’ll start with the person on the other end of the phone, Noelle, she was very helpful with scheduling someone to come out, answering all of my questions, and was phenomenal with making me comfortable and easing the anxiety that comes along with trying to find a company you can trust for a project like this. Next is the master electrician/owner, Charles, professionalism and customer service at its finest! He came out, did a walkthrough of my home, and came back a couple days later to review options with my husband and myself. When it came time to do the work, the entire crew was respectful of my home, courteous, and professional. A true reflection of their owner/leadership. The icing on the cake was when the village inspector came out and acknowledged that they did a phenomenal job. My husband and I are rarely surprised and I must say the work Safe Electrical did exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough good things about this company. We have already recommended this company to a few co-workers and friends who are in need of electrical work. I rarely write reviews but this is one was well worth it and I can only hope it helps others who are in need of an electrician make their decision.

Paul's electric modernized our newly purchased 50's Chicago ranch. Not only did they replace a bunch of ancient painted-over 2-prong outlets, they properly & fully grounded the house to our main city water pipe, added a whole-house surge protector, and made sure our fuses matched our box correctly, all with a clear itemized and reasonable estimate up front.We can now confidently plug things into our walls! Anyone looking for an electrician with experience and integrity this is the guy for you. Donn arrived when he said he would and did the work so fast but in a professional manner. They provided us with a comprehensive quote for rewiring our home and were able to complete the job in a timely manner. We were especially impressed with the care they took when installing new fixtures and switches. Technician was highly knowledgeable about issue with with Comed not restoring power due to back feed. Everything was explained in a workmanlike manner and completed thoroughly.

$145 for them to come out and do nothing; then schedule a follow up appt and they don't show up (or even call to say they can't make it). Reschedule the appt, again a no show and no call. Please stay away from this business - the positive reviews must be fakes.

Pat is amazing! He is more than amazing there aren’t even words to describe how terrifc pat and Manuel (his assistant) were! They took care of my electrical job that was needed in my home. There were many problems with my electrical wiring, panel and my outlets. He took care of for me and was honest and diligent. Pat never tried to up sell me anything. He told me with complete transparency and he has the best integrity. They don’t make guys like Pat anymore! He’s a gem! He took a look at many things in my home And did not even charge me for them! He cleaned out my air conditioning unit that needed serious maintenance. His prices are outstanding and he even gave me great honest advice about other things in my home. Please don’t hesitate to contact him for any of your needs! He is punctual, reliable, honest, hardworking and all around nice man!

The two men who came out to correct a massive issue at my home. Half of my outlets just went off the radar. Had to go through the entire house to see which worked and which did not. This also affected the outlet in the stand alone Garage. They were very polite and considerate. I could not have asked for two better workers. Would I recommend them?
