Best Light Fixture Installation in Chicago IL

Had an emergency over the weekend at our building. Half of the power was out and elevator was not operating. This is an assisted living and it is important for all elevators, heating cooling system to be operational. Called our regular electricians at STS Electric and they were out within an hour. I had called the dispatch at 2:30a Sunday morning and the crew was at the building 3:20a. At first the supervisor John arrived and then the crew showed up. All power was restored within 8 1/2 hours and during this time they were able to provide with aux. power source. I can always count on STS Electricians. I would always recommend STS Electric to anyone who is looking for prompt service and fair pricing.Keep up the good work!!!

Excellent service. Was able to help me out with a problem that at my house is a huge deal , the garbage disposal switch was broken. He came within an hour and did the job quickly and correctly !! :)

As both a homeowner and long-time landlord, I am very skeptical about all contractors. I found Highlights Chicago Electrical Services on Yelp, and was even more skeptical regarding well over 200 five-star reviews. I needed a major electrical service upgrade done on a historic landmark apartment building I own so I had no choice but to do the research and select a contractor.I know there are ways to get great reviews on Yelp. However, nine times out of ten, those people or services won't bother to write reviews in great detail, let alone many paragraphs in length. As I read through the reviews I realized they were legit.I can now add mine to the list. This company has truly earned every five-star review it has received. I have NEVER had such a positive experience with an electrical contractor. Quite the opposite. I got 3 different estimates, and they weren't the lowest, and not the highest either. Boz came out to look at what needed to be done (which included undoing the disaster the previous electrician created) within a few hours of my call. He explained everything in detail, and the pro's and con's of what my options were.They never asked for any payment upfront. The estimate was extraordinarily detailed. Shock number one. The team I was assigned, Kaplan and Jose, showed up ready to go at 7 am the next day! Shock number two. They worked their butts off until well after 6 pm! Shock number 3. They came back the next two days and did it again. Shock number 4.This is a company that is proud of what they do. The end result looked like a work of art! The conduit was perfectly aligned, evenly spaced and so symmetrical I couldn't get over it. Every detail was addressed, and all done without cutting corners, dodging building codes, or overcharging. Old houses are not easy to work on and require a lot of patience and genuine expertise. They worked around all the challenges and knocked it out of the ballpark.As long as they are in business, I will NEVER use anyone else. The few hundred dollars you might save going with the lowest cost option is nothing compared to the misery you will spare yourself by having this company do the work. If I could give them more stars I would. They are also really nice people to work with. When was the last time you thought that about a contractor?

On 10/19/2022 Erick the technician that came out to fix the fluorescent lighting where I am working in Arlington Heights, he was great very personable. He explained what needed to be done took care of it and also made sure we had the right lights to be replaced. He was fast and efficient. I highly recommend this company and ask for Erick..

I can't say enough how great this company is. As first time homeowners we weren't sure what to expect when working with an electrician. They first did an inspection for us back in 2017 before we bought our house. They charged a fair price to do a walk through and told us what would needed to be updated. 3 years later we have work we need done in our basement (can lights installed, circuit box labeled, wire cleanup, etc.). Not only did the electrician, Charles, remember us, he even honored the quote he gave 2 years prior for the breaker box. He and his team worked all day at our house. The work was done timely and professionally. Fast forward to today, we've been having trouble with a breaker tripping when we use 2 appliances at the same time (we have an old house). We were able to get him out here within 48 hours to fix the problem. Great local electrician. We highly recommend!

T & D provided a quality electrical panel upgrade with a great price. The whole process went smoothly from getting a quote, to review it, to scheduling it, to installation. Other electricians in the area were extremely overpriced and some even tried to convince me to do work without a permit or contacting ComED. Dan and Fred did a great job. They had to change 3 fixtures in a hard-to-access ceiling about 25 feet high. They were safe and professional, and were easy to talk to. Their price was also quite a bit lower than another company that I had given me an estimate as well. I would not hesitate to hire them again!
