Updated Oct 19, 2021: I used Highlights about a year ago to install a light fixture in my apartment, and everything went perfectly (please read my original review below)! Now a condo owner, I needed to have a ceiling light installed as well as have a new outlet added in my laundry closet.Boz stopped by to perform the estimate, and he was very straightforward, providing both a plan A (which involved using existing conduit for the new outlet) and a plan B (running new conduit up to the ceiling and to the breaker box). The light installation was rather straightforward.When the time came to move ahead with the project, I had a few challenges scheduling that I did not encounter previously. I chalked this up to the current high demand for tradespeople and also to a family emergency with my main contact at Highlights. Once scheduled, Boz returned with Ben and an assistant, who ran conduit for the light fixture and replaced the wall box to a 2-gang box. Ben was also able to use existing conduit to run the laundry outlet wiring, a big positive!Highlights was willing to work with me on a second visit by Ben, since my light fixture did not arrive by the time of the first visit. Ben and an assistant came back out to install the fixture once it arrived, and did a great job.I had a few minor quibbles this time around, with scheduling (as mentioned) and with the work. For example, the laundry outlet was to be put on a new breaker, but it was wired to an existing (but essentially unused) breaker instead. Functionally it all works the same, but there was a minor misunderstanding somewhere along the way.All in all, I'm quite happy with the work and I'll use Highlights again in the future!Original Oct 6, 2020: Simply put, my experience with Highlights Chicago was amazing! I initially contacted Kemal asking for a quote on installing a light fixture. After exchanging some texts and pictures of the room, Kemal provided me a quote that was in line with others I'd received.I had several follow-up questions for Kemal, since I wanted to avoid opening up the drywall in the room if possible. Kemal sent an electrician, Raul, over at no charge to assess the install in person and put together a plan that would avoid cutting into the walls. Once I wanted to move ahead, Raul and an assistant were able to come out *the next morning* to install the fixture.They draped and covered the entire room, and did a great job installing the conduit and fixture. Raul even consulted me several times during the installation to ensure the fixture was installed exactly the way I wanted it. They did a wonderfully thorough job and cleaned up the room very well once they finished!I won't hesitate for a second to call up Highlights Chicago for any future electrical work - they've set an amazingly high standard for quality of work. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Kemal for fielding all of my questions, and to both Kemal and Raul for being so professional yet friendly. Thanks again!!

Contacted A to Z electric Co. And was able to set up assessment times right away.Barry, a great individual who is thorough and clear, came out to do the assessment. He walked us through what he thought we'd need. We contacted them a week later to make amendments to our plan. We contacted A to Z again to do so. Bob was clear, engaged and present when asking about the changes we wanted to make.Bob came early to re assess and go over the changes again. During the assessment he looked over our existing wiring and validated that the changes we had talked about were safe and viable. His team, Frankie, Tony, and himself were professional, kind, and thorough again. They cleaned up quite well.With having an old house and I'm sure we'll be needing to update things as time goes on. We look forward to hiring them again.

This is the second time we've hired T&D electrical and had Rodrigo as our electrician. He's an consummate professional. We had a three-way switch installed for our hallway light and everything was great. We highly recommend hiring them.

READ! DO NOT USE! Scheduled appointment and nobody came. Called them and was told they didn’t have right ladder so rescheduled. Complained but supervisor never called back. Called 3 separate time to remind them to bring the right ladder. One week later, nobody came. Called them and was told they did not have the right ladder. Was told supervisor would call and nobody called. Took off 2 days work for this - ridiculous. Use only if you enjoy wasting time and not getting electrical work done.

Had a minor issue arise from another job with another company and they called out Jason from Neuman Electrical Services to assist with the electrical mishap. He was very professional throughout both his visits and agreed that the problem needed to be corrected. He did what was needed and went above and beyond what I expected. I highly recommend them for your electrical needs

Paul arrived to our building today to install 3 new fans. he was amazing. They quoted us 2 hours and he finished in 1 1/2. He came early, went right to work, and we couldn’t be happier. I can assure if we need any other electric work, they will be called.

My kitchen kept going out of power, other electricians stating nothing was wrong or they wouldn't even come out. Lucas was 30 minutes late on a Friday afternoon, found and fixed the problem immediately, them made sure everything was working properly before departure. And all with professionalism and a smile. I highly recommend this licensed electrician!

The greatest customer service I EVER experienced. Com Ed disconnected service to my first floor apartment before I had a chance to put it in my name after tenet moved, stating there was a backfeed. I called Wizard and talked to Tom, he took it upon himself to call Com Ed and get them to come out with in an hour and totally fix the problem. NO CHARGE. THANKS TOM.
