STS Electricians are great, got my power fixed and my tesla car charger installed perfectly, I appreciate it very much.

I needed somebody to figure out whether a problem I was having with some LEDs was serious or minor, and what I should do about it, if anything. Skyline returned my call within a couple of hours and communicated well about scheduling, and even though Kent's previous job ran a little long, he extended his workday to come check out the situation a couple of days later. After examining the equipment, talking things through, and following up the next morning, he gave me good, straight advice about my options, didn't try to push me toward expensive work that might not be necessary (I decided to wait), and, in the end, didn't even charge me for the visit. So, I can't testify to the quality of his electrical work, but I sure appreciated the integrity and the generosity. Very positive experience.

I have been working with Highlights Chicago for about 6 months now and I nothing but great things to say about this company. Everyone is always very professional and responds promptly to any requests. The quality of work is just as great, anytime I have a request for work to be done in the Chicago area, the team at Highlights Chicago is my go-to team. I have never experience an issue with the quality of work or with the professionalism. Defiantly one of the best companies in the city. Would highly recommend. My kitchen contractor recommended Tony for the electric component of the remodel and I'm so glad that he did! Tony brought everything up to code and improved our lighting. His ideas for adding recessed lighting made all the difference in the kitchen's appearance.We hired him to complete some additional work in the dining room and living room. He is very easy to work with, arrives promptly and has fair pricing. He kept the work area and materials very nicely organized and cleaned up completely after work was finished. I will definitely hire him again in the futue.

I had an outdoor post light in the front yard that didn't work. Anel arrived on time. He was professional and explained what he was doing. After a bit of trouble shooting, he efficiently replaced the outlet and switch. I now have light on a very dark street.While not a major repair, my overall experience with Sims & Sons was great and I would definitely use them for bigger jobs. Super responsive as well.

I booked an appointment with them. It was confirmed online and 2 follow up email confirmations. Day of the appt they call me at 8 in the morning (my appt was at 2pm) and tell me that their free estimate is over the phone. That would have been acceptable except they never had an actual total. They just kept say $180 for the first half hour and $90 every half hour after that. I asked would the electrician let me know the actual total or estimation of time before beginning the actual work. They said they couldn't do that. They wouldn't know how long. So you want me to just let you blindly take your time doing the repairs with no real idea of how much it will be? Then I said well would your electrician still be showing up for our 2 pm appt? They said they couldn't guarantee it since they had a lot of stops scheduled for around that time. So now you're telling me that you purposely over booked and I am supposed to sit around waiting all day. I work at night so my times have to be precise because that's when I sleep which is why I had booked an appointment time and got confirmations. All of it was just a complete waste of time. There was no value for the clients time. Never have I had these problems with contractors.

They are extremely professional and did outstanding work when I needed my home electrical system updated.

Paul and Peter were quick to respond to my inquiry through the Home Depot Pro service offering. Took 10 mins of texting to schedule a visit the following morning to install 3 fans. Paul and Peter arrived on time and 75 minutes later, the work was complete. Thumbs up.

I accidently dead shorted a wire in an outlet box, although nothing tripped in the breaker the entire house lost power not good. I was lucky and was able to reach Tom on the phone he walked me through it. We were able to find a breaker outside by the meter which I reset and the power came back on Tom saved me time and money, however most importantly my weekend. Thanks Tom!!!!!

I visited Dunning today who I believe was contracted to replace all unit breaker boxes in my condo several years ago. I first called and spoke with a very pleasant woman who encouraged me to stop by with the faulty breaker needing replacement that was not providing the necessary 120/240 voltages to my electric range. She noted that I should stop by mid afternoon in time to ask the service staff if a replacement was in stock or could be ordered. I did so and was greeted by two knowledgeable service men. They knew immediately what I needed and checked for a replacement in their inventory. I was given a used exact replacement breaker gratis. It resolved my voltage issue with my electric range and so I am once again a happy camper and can cook and bake once again! Thanks Dunning!
