Tried to get them to come and and give me a quote on a job, all they wanted to do was charge me 95.00/hr. Didn't want to look at the job couldn't tell me how long it would take, after some begging he asks...where are you again? I repeat my address a second time (6 miles from their office) oh! your out of our area. Click... I guess they make too much $$$

Only got an estimate for now as im still in the process in closing on the house, but Jabriel was very professional and in fact was one of the only local companies that was willing to give a estimate and on such short notice! Can not believe how difficult it is to get an estimate without a 75-100 fee involved, but Jabriel was able to help us out. If closing goes through will definitely be using Discount Electrical to do my repairs. Thanks again and look forward to working with you in the future!

Over the years Johnathon has done numerous projects at a couple of different homes for us. He has installed undercabinet lighting, ceiling fans, hung televisions, numerous light fixtures, and added electrical outlets in places we needed them. Every single time he has done an amazing job. I was looking for a competent and trustworthy electrician and Tim came highly recommend. I had him do work that another electric company couldn't figure out how to solve the issue and to make matters worse, was the ridiculous price I was being charged by them. Tim took the time to figure out why the problem was occurring and he fixed the problem in a reasonable amount of time without ripping me off! He even explained to me what the issue was and what he did that the other company didn't do. What a blessing. I would highly recommend, Tim, for your electrical need. I'm so glad I did.

Gowdy Electric is a great team of folks from the owner (Scott Gowdy) to the scheduler (Ashley). The technician (Jason) that did my work was the best. Friendly and personable, while at the same time professional, thorough, and efficient. I was performing as the general contractor for the remodel of a rental property into my primary home. Scott and his team were very helpful and patient with me on a job that took multiple visits to complete. This is definitely the go-to team for me on any future electrical needs.

Someone from Mr Electric came out this morning to give a free estimate to fix the bathroom vent that is working but not pulling the enough air out after showering and said that it would be $199 just to run a diagnostic which does not go toward the price of fixing it? Where is the free quote? Waste of time…

You literally cannot beg these people to call you back to fix their mistake. Bought a Wade Jurney home where they did the electric and we’re under a 2 year warranty. None of the outlets in one of our rooms work. I’ve been calling them for MONTHS now to get them to fix it, as well as our representative from WJ Homes calling them, and they still will not call us back. You would think that checking to see if the outlets they installed worked properly would be something they would’ve done before leaving the job, but I guess not. Clearly quality isn’t important to them.
