I love working with this company!

I’ve used this company a few times now and they are one of the best firms in west seattle. They actually respond to you, they do great work, and their prices are reasonable. My EV charger works great and I’m always happy with their team when they visit.

We hired Mirsky Electric for a large job on our 1910 home, which included panel upgrade, removal of remaining knob and tube, lighting replacements, outlet and switch additions, and a couple of other small improvements around the house. We were really pleased from start to finish. The estimate with Mike was straightforward, and he took a lot of time to walk through and explain various options, without pressuring or upselling. Matt was responsive, clear, and friendly in all communication. The two electricians who did the work, Grant and Thien, were punctual and friendly and very strict about masking in the house. It was great to chat with them each morning about the work ahead, discuss different options or potential issues, and then let them take it from there. When the work was finished we were really impressed by two things: the project came in under budget and the cuts in the drywall were minimal (another company in their estimate had told us we should remove all drywall in certain rooms to prep for their work!). I would gladly recommend Mirsky to anyone, and use them again. We're so glad that the electrical system in our home has now entered this century!

We are incredibly grateful for Electric Co of Seattle! We had an electrical emergency two days before Christmas, and they came to the rescue. Such fantastic customer service, especially from Deja, who immediately put our request to the top and sent someone over, and Brian who came out to fix the issue. Brian is extremely professional and knowledgable.
Not only did he get to the root of the issue quickly, but he was very careful and meticulous. We learned a lot in the hour he was at our home, teaching us what likely was the cause of the issue. We trusted Brian completely and will be using Electric Co of Seattle go forward for all our electrical needs. Their team was responsive, great to work with and we would highly recommend them any day!

Friendly, fair and did a great job.

Brechtech was great - very friendly, worked efficiently, and did a good job. Pricing was very fair and transparent, we paid by the hour. Definitely recommend Brechtech for any similar electrician needs!

Zach did a great job of putting LED into our fluorescent light fixture. He was prompt, professional, didactic and friendly. He was also very covid-friendly and wore a mask while inside.

Expert Electric was absolutely fantastic to deal with as they made electrical corrections at a commercial retail building we own. We needed immediate help after the commercial tenant did some creative, un-permitted wiring. Blair kept us in the loop every step of the way as he pulled permits and reached out to the city inspector. I highly recommend Expert Electric and we will call them in for the next job.

I had a great experience working with Derek from Green Concepts, and would highly recommend him to others looking for a kind, honest, timely, and extremely capable electrician.

TL;DR:
Derek showed up on time and communicated well. He was a great partner in that he helped advise us on the options that were the best fit for us, without trying to oversell us, and without using complicated language to confuse us (which unfortunately many contractors do). He really understood our needs and delivered exactly what we were looking for in a quick, concise, and clean way. We will definitely hire him for future projects, and I would recommend that you hire him too. He also takes credit cards, which is a huge plus!

ESTIMATE:
Derek showed up within his estimated time window for my estimate, and even sent me a text with his ETA when he was on his way. I appreciated this as I was managing several other contractors that day so having realtime updates on when he could come by helped me plan out the afternoon. He listened carefully as we walked him through the house and gave good advice on how to solve the problems we had.

WORK:
Overall, we had him:
- Add 6 recess lights to an upstairs room with very tall ceilings
- Add 6 recess lights to a downstairs room with regular ceilings
- Add a central ceiling light to 2 bedrooms with no built-in lighting
- Remove a very sketchy self-done lighting arrangement in the kitchen that the previous owner had run, which resulted in more than one exposed hot wire
- Tidy up the electrics of a wall area that was patched

Derek was able to accommodate our busy schedules and the fact that we weren't living in the home at the time. He worked around my availability and came to me to pick up my key, and then drop it off again at the end. He did the work in the house in the time quoted, and cleaned up after himself at the end. He even left us the drywall plugs from where he had to cut into the wall to run wiring, so it was very easy to repair the wall, and now we can't even tell that work was ever done!

Derek's honesty was really apparent as well. We had discussed our lighting needs in the upstairs room with the tall ceiling and had originally decided to go with 4. During the install, he discovered that the 4 wouldn't be enough due to the angle of the ceiling and a beam. He spent a lot of time running all the possible options, and then called us, carefully explaining the pros and cons of the 4 lights, versus his new recommendation of 6 lights. It didn't feel like an upsell at all, but instead like he really took the time to think about the purpose of the lights in the space, and what exactly we were looking for. We ended up taking his suggestion, and the 6 lights are perfect!

Derek is also a very well put together contractor. During the renovation process of our home I met with many contractors in a variety of different fields, and Derek was definitely the most professional in mannerisms and appearance. He showed up dressed well, wasn't boisterous or obnoxious, and calmly listened to us while we talked through our goals for the home.

We hired AYWE to run a 50 amp line for our new hot tub. They came out right away and gave us a competitive bid. We chose them because they were able to come and install 99% the new line before the hot tub arrived and then agreed to come back a day after the hot tub was delivered. Other companies had a 3 week lead time after the tub was to be delivered. They also split the bill for us. There work was clean (meaning run efficiently) and they cleaned up any mess they made. We also liked that they texted/emailed and called when the technician was on his way with a photo if who was coming. Billing folks also great. Will use again for sure.

We've been fortunate to be a customer of West Seattle Electric and Solar for several years, and have always been highly satisfied with their work and performance. Our most recent experience was fantastic, Mark came out to assess our issue with a non-working photocell, and he was able to solve it quickly and expertly. We greatly appreciate the professionalism and hight quality they always provide. Thank you, West Seattle Electric!

I could not be happier with my experience working with Ohm Electrical. I had a pretty massive knob & tube wire removal project for my home and they:

- came in with a bid that was HALF the cost of the two other bids i received
- completed the work exactly on time and at a high quality
- ended up costing even less b/c they identified work in the original bid that wasn't ultimately required
- communicated well the entire time

I also requested a quote a while back for my kitchen remodel and really wanted to go with Ohm Electrical but the general contractor I hired recommended his own guy. I regret not pushing to go with Ohm on that one!
