This is the second time we have used Mike Brito of Point Loma Electric and Plumbing. The appointment setting is easy to do and the office folks are very nice and you are made aware of every step up to the technician's arrival. Once here, Mike gave us honest advice on our electrical system and made recommendations to assess our immediate issues and items that will need help in the future. He also provided an estimate on the spot. We will evaluate it but in the past we have had him perform the services recommended. Each time the repair and/or upgrade was completed completely, work place cleaned, and professional demeanor throughout. Everything was done right the first time. It is refreshing to see a company that does not cut corners. Thank you Mike!

Used Robs a year ago and he sent out two guys that were great, got the jobs done in good time at fair cost… so we went to Robs again a few weeks ago. This time Rob himself was on the job (he claims) - but never showed up and didn’t respond to calls or texts. We gave him the benefit of the doubt… two weeks later we rescheduled and he never showed again. Absolutely ghosted us. Never responded other than an emoji of “???”. Not sure what to make of that -political or unprofessional - but suffice it to say reliability is not there. After seeing other reviews it appears he has a pattern of doing this to a specific set of clients (search through them you’ll see what I mean). Very disappointing. Concerned that work done by his team “under warranty” is anything but legit and wont be covered if an issue emerges. Look elsewhere if you want work done without a hassle.

I was ready to spend way too much money on replacing some track lighting in my kitchen and the electrician told me that wasn't necessary and fixed it for a fraction of what I thought I had to pay. Really above and beyond customer service.

Kevin was the only electronician that gave me a time that he'd stop by to fix my doorbell. He was prompt, professional, and I'm going to call him again soon to fix our common area lighting.

Not professional

Everytime I ran my Ac unit in my house the power would get shut off to my house unless I unplugged everything else. I could not even watch tv if my ac was on. It was really a simple fix and I had to have my electrical outlet upgraded to a higher voltage. The ac would not only trip my breaker for that one outlet it would trip the master switch for the whole house. My house had been wired improperly so Shamrock electric redid a lot of the electrical work to my breaker box. i have been able to run my AC ever since without any problems. Mike is a great electrician, one I was happy I decided to use.

I had Faraday Electric install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for my EV charging purposes. I was first impressed by how detailed their quoting process was. You get an extremely detailed document describing all aspects of the job even before you commit to them. From start to finish, Faraday's employees were professional, courteous, responsive, and efficient. I didn't have a single issue with the quote, communication, coordination, or installation (only 30 min). I will use them again in the future if I have any other EV charging needs.

I had contacted Eugene because of a beeping smoke alarm. He asked all of the right questions, quoted me a price and scheduled a time for later that afternoon. He showed up promptly, went to work and was done in about an hour or less. He was very professional and efficient - I will call him and would recommend him gladly.

They rapidy diagnosed wiring problem (another electrician failed to figure out problem after an hour of diagnostic work) and price was very fair.
