Mr. Charlie Holt of Point Loma Electric visited my residence for a project consultation and bid. He arrived on time, in a professional uniform with identification badge, in a company marked van that had clearly displayed California C-10 contractors licence on the side, as well as company information such as name and telephone number.Mr. Holt introduced himself, and promptly put on booties to cover his shoes before entering my house. My initial impression, as a former tradesman with almost 10 years experience, is that Point Loma Electric (whom I hired from the internet based solely on positive reviews) is a legitimate company that cares about their appearance, customer service, quality and reputation.Mr. Holt's knowledge was exemplary and his willingness to admit that part of my planned project was cost prohibitive was refreshing to hear from a company. Although the bid was high, it did include the cost-prohibitive work and additions that may be best suited by another class of contractors. Mr. Holt did also forewarn me that the bid would be high due to the nature of the scope of work, which included many retrofit cable runs and dedicated circuits, with my desire to minimize drywall damage.I respect Mr. Holt's forwardness and candor about the work I wanted done and the constraints of the job, as well as the potential for drywall damage. I also appreciate that during the appraisal he took pictures of every aspect of the proposal, which aided him in providing a full, comprehensive bid before he left the premises.Overall, Charlie Holt is very professional and I would recommend others to take bids from Point Loma Electric.

We had a big job at our warehouse, panel upgrade, rough wiring, and tons of repairs. I worked directly with Rudy and he was always responsive, professional, and kept his promises. The crew always showed up on time, installed everything to plan, and were friendly to deal with throughout the entire process. The power in multiple areas of our house went out on a Friday afternoon (after hours of course). I spent all weekend trying to find an electrician but none answered their phones. On Monday I finally got in touch with someone and he stated he would be over the following day after work. This person never showed up and did not call, which left me back at square one again. Note, the power was off in my office and garage and kitchen. So my journey started all over again to find an electrician. I called several businesses and was again told it would be another week before someone could come out. I finally got in touch with Rob and I was pleasantly surprised when he said he could send someone out. Aaron, showed up within 30 minutes of my call, quickly assessed the problem, corrected the problem and was finished within one hour. He was very professional and informed us what was going on as he was trying to locate the problem. It should be noted that the internet was out during this time, which is my husband's life line and he was having a melt down because he couldn't communicate with his friends. (We are both senior citizens with disabilities.) Anyway, I highly recommend Rob's Electrical Services for any of your electrical needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could. David came by earlier in the week to install a pair of ceiling fans where there previously hadn’t been any wiring. Despite having to navigate a tight attic space, he knocked it out in about 2 hours per fan. He was relentlessly positive & I can’t recommend him highly enough. He’ll be on speed dial for the next time I need an electrician!

He texted ahead to let me know what time he'd be there, was on time, diagnosed, fixed and checked that the fix worked correctly in record time. Nothing but good things to say about Gforce. The electrician was very professional and knowledgeable. He was on time, very honest, and made quick work of our issue. He careful looked at our breaker box, the problem breaker, went through each switch that might have been the source of our electrical failure. In the end, our electrical outage and flickering are gone and we could not be any more appreciative to him.
