We were concerned about finding a electrician who would be honest and do the right work. We reached out to a friend who highly recommended Heck, electric and solar. Trevor is a wonderful and honest person who we will continue to recommend to all family and friends the work was fabulous.

I started my solar journey well over a year ago and looked in to several companies before deciding to have Heck Electric complete my installation. From the day I inquired with Heck I could already tell that I was in the right hands. In speaking with Trevor he was nothing short of fantastic and provided information and guidance in multiple aspects of the job I wanted, listening to what my goals were, and not just trying to tell me what I wanted to hear to make the sale. I never felt rushed in confirming what I thought I understood of the various options when planning a solar system, even when I would come back with additional questions for further thoughts. His professional insights allowed me to make some very well informed decisions on the project, ultimately leading to a much better installation that I had initially planned. Trevor also provided additional sources for quotes when it came to deciding if we were going to move forward with a full roof replacement. Since we did move forward with a replacement, his team's flexibility to work alongside roofers that we chose allowed for our project to come together as if they were managing every aspect, which I truly appreciated. Having Trevor and team available to handle everything from beginning to end made this a very seamless experience, leaving me having to do nothing but write the check. In a time where the other companies were quoting a minimum of six month lead time for permission to connect, Trevor has us operational and producing much quicker. Trevor has also checked in with us a few times now after the installation to ensure that all was still good and I didn't have any additional questions, even helping install a consumption meter that allows me to track usage in addition to production with the same home module. Trevor is professional, knowledgeable and a master of his trade. He installed and wired 5 fans, 2 motion sensor lights, 2 patio lights, repaired an electrical outlet and installed 2 additional outlets. Beautiful and clean installations on every project. I highly reccomend his services!

Trevor was on a full day's job on a Friday when I called him about a bunch of random outlets in the kitchen that stopped working, plus a security light outside. He committed to coming out at the end of his day and kept in communication about when he'd be here. In less than 15 minutes he discovered the problems, fixed them all, and educated us about how to do the repairs ourselves in the future. Professional, efficient, courteous, prompt service by electrician Trevor Heck.He came out on Sunday in the rain on New Year's day and replaced a defective circuit breaker to our 220V dryer.It is amazing that he was able to locate the part for our 43 year old electric panel.We are so grateful and highly recommend him.He is now our go-to electrician.

Heavy rain had caused a tree to fall and cut off electrical power to my house. I contacted Heck Electric and they were able to come out and fix my issues that same day. Trevor did a great job (even in the on again, off-again rain) and I was able to have sdg&e turn the power to my house back on! Trevor came out very quickly and fixed our entry bridge lights within 20 minutes. He then spent an hour helping us troubleshoot problem spots all over the property and wrote up a detailed and itemized list. He suggested reasonable solutions that would help us figure out better lighting within our budget.

Trevor was great to work with. Installed an outdoor light and some smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. I’m having him back soon to replace some old fluorescent lights.

I contacted Trevor about installing a 220v outlet for a Level 2 EV charger in my garage. Trevor was responsive, friendly and took time to look at the particulars of our installation before giving any quotes. Trevor's pricing was very competitive with the other quotes i received, and one thing i certainly appreciated was when you call, you speak directly to the person doing the work.He did a great job, cleaned up and everything cost what was quoted with no surprises.I asked Trevor about some other work i was considering in the future, he did not up sell and offered other options i had not considered that would meet my same goals for lower cost.I am happy to now have a reliable electrician for any future needs. HECK electric was referred by my clients, and I called because half my kitchen wasn't turnings on. I assumed I would have to wait a few weeks, I told Trevor what my issue was, and said let's do a service call, and see what's up. I thought I would hear from him later to schedule a service call. He texted me and said he was on his way. I couldn't believe it. He checked everything my solar, which he found an issue with.. and he checked all my breakers .. and saw that my panel was old and needs to be updated. He got my kitchen up and running ? and he's going to schedule to panel update .. and was very detailed as to what will be done,and what to expect. He's great ?

Trevor made time to come out before XMAS and repair wiring for our water heater. Spoke with him in the morning and he was there same afternoon to address the problem. Water heated fixed!

Came on day called trouble shot everything changed circuit breaker but suspected appliance , appliance repair found burner lead loose intermitantly shorting all good will use again and recommend to others

I called Trevor yesterday late afternoon for help with a non-functioning tankless water heater, garage lights out, and garage freezer and refrigerator out and he tried to give us instructions on the phone. We called him back and said we could not do it and to our surprise he drove all the way from Lakeside to Delmar to help us. He is definitely a professional and truly a good person. He left our house after 630 and he did a tremendous job, one that we could not figure out. He is so helpful and I do believe really enjoys helping people. With a whole bunch of construction going on, something was tripping in the panel, causing two rooms worth of electricity to go out. Trevor trouble shot everything he could to ensure that we would not have to lose power frequently throughout the evening. He took the time to explain everything he was doing as well as why or how something worked. He even followed up the next day to make sure that we didn’t lose power again overnight! As with a new purchased home, we are constantly finding this or that and will be happy to call Heck Electric back when we are ready to fix some things and start new projects!

I highly recommend Heck Electric & Solar. Trevor Heck was highly recommended by a longtime friend. She said he was Honest & Ethical. I found him to be EXACTLY that. I called him on a Saturday Evening; not only did he take my call but talked me through the entire process, after telling him the problem I was having. I have Multiple Christmas Lights outside of the front and back patio of my home. Moisture got inside of my electrical outlet and lights would not work when I plugged them in. He told me to locate the gsf buttons inside of my house, and press the reset button. He talked me through the process over the phone, so he wouldn’t have to charge me for coming out and resetting a button. I located a reset button next to the faucet in the Master Bathroom. I pressed the reset button & all front & back patio lights came on. I was so happy! I found Trevor Heck to be extremely Patient, Honest, & Professional. He exhibited the Highest Level Of Integrity. Trevor Heck came to change all of my CFL kitchen lights that had burned out over time. They were horrible lights. He replaced them with LED and added a dimmer. My kitchen looks amazing now! I’m so excited! I keep going in there to see how good it looks! He efficiently took care of some other electrical issues as well. He listened to what I wanted done and validated my choices. I have nothing but good things to say about Trevor. I had to get a couple of bathroom vent fans replaced and one installed in a bathroom that never had one before. It wasn’t an easy job due to the new fans being quite larger than the original fans and a few other challenges along the way. Trevor was able quickly come up with solutions to all of the challenges and get the fans installed in a few hours. I will definitely be working with Trevor again.

Trevor was amazing. We realized mid day on a Saturday that 1/2 the house was without power. We called Trevor and he came right out. It only took him about 15 minutes to diagnose the problem and another 1/2 hour to fix it. I highly recommend Trevor for any job. Very professional and reasonable. We used Trevor for an Electrical Home Inspection during my buyer's escrow. The home had a lot of questionable wiring and a lot of modifications that had been made to the home that led to my buyer requesting an electrical inspection. Trevor came by and did a very thorough investigation of the entire home. Not a single outlet or area that involved electricity was left untouched. My prior solar company went out of business. Three inverters has failed and needed to be replaced. Chilicon Power, the maker of the inverters, recommended Heck Electric & Solar.They were very responsive, coming up on short notice. They were in and out in about 1 hour and they made sure the equipment was properly registered with the manufacturer.Above and beyond the good work, they were super cool. Very much appreciate them and will look them up for future work.Update 01/08/2022:Had another inverter go out. I had called Trevor before the holidays and he proactively followed back up.Came over on a Saturday to switch out my faulty unit. In and out. Very fast, friendly, and super instructive. I continue to be impressed.

Trevor and his crew were very professional and did a great job. They had to remove my system for a major remodel, then reinstall my old panels and equipment and and add to the system. I wish I had them on the original install, they found several things that had not been done properly, and fixed them when they reinstalled everything. I would highly recommend them.

I have had Heck Electric do three jobs for me. First he replaced my can lights in the kitchen with new LEDs. Next he I called him because power was out in my garage, a refrigerator was out and garage door wasn’t working. Last job was to fix outlet in my house and replace two ceiling lights. He was always prompt, work was done very quickly and professionally.

Heck Electric & Solar is a great family owned company that knows how to treat customers right. During a recent home remodel, Heck performed electrical work in a professional timely manner. Most recently, we experienced an issue with our solar system purchsed a few years back through a different solar company. That company could not identify the problem, left without fixing the problem, and then billed us a huge service call fee even though the problem remained. We called Heck Electric and Solar to see if they could help. Heck arrived and within minutes fixed the problem. I'm happy to say we haven't had an issue since! Heck is our choice for both solar and electical needs. :)
