I had a house inspector tell me that I needed to replace a couple GFCI outlets in my kitchen. I called sunbelt to make the replacements, and after a quick discussion, we discovered that the one GFCI outlet I had on the kitchen counter was in the same line as the other outlets...and didnt need to be replaced. Sunbelt could have just arrived and charged the service charge and did little work, but they were professional and very knowledgeable, saving me the expense of a needless repair. I can certainly trust these people to do the right thing. I will always call Sunbelt with any electrical issue I have.

I recently purchased a backup generator and needed an electrician to install a Generator Transfer Switch at the main power panel. I called around and finally located a company that could do the job here in San Antonio (not every company can, or will do this). That company was Firefly Electric Services. They dispatched an electrician to come out and give me an estimate on the installation. The electrician immediately noticed that the main power panel had been hit with what appeared to be a surge from a lightning strike. I confirmed that there had been a lightning strike a year or so earlier that hit the house. During his investigation it was determined that hooking up a backup generator to the current main panel may prove to be unwise, even dangerous. He advised me that the damage should be covered by my homeowners insurance. He took pictures of all the damage to the main & sub panel and wrote up his findings and recommendation for fixing the problem. I submitted his information with a claim to the insurance company and the insurance did cover the damage. Firefly came back out, installed a new main & sub power panel, new ground, new surge protectors on both panels and they also installed the generator transfer switch. (See photos) As a retired Navy vet who worked in and around electrical wiring for over twenty-years, I've got to say that the Firefly Team was one of the best, if not the best team, I have ever seen. They are totally professional, on-time, and very thorough in their work and in explaining their work. Josh, the team lead on the job, showed me all the tricks for operating my brand new, straight out of the box generator. We actually used the generator with extension cords to power my two refrigerators while the house was out of power for the 6 hours it took to finish the job. I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the finished product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Firefly Electric Services. I want to thank everyone at Firefly for a JOB VERY WELL DONE! I also want to give a special thanks to Salvitore Lombardi (Sal) the Owner/Operations Manager who was so instrumental is getting this all done. The gentleman came to give us an estimate on installing an outdoor outlet in backyard. He was knowledgeable and professional while he was checking to see what it would take. He determined that he would have to run the wiring on the outside of our house to install the new outlet. When he quoted the price it was $951! To install an outlet! When we told him no thanks he said let me make a call to the office to see what we can do. We told him it wouldn’t be necessary as even if they knocked the price down by half, that was still more than we wanted to pay. He kept insisting on calling the office and then offered to give us a free inspection of all our electrical in the home. We again declined. I don’t understand why he had to call the office to change the price. Wr paid hint he $29 service call fee and thanked him for his time. All in all, they were professional and seemed knowledgeable. My main complaints are the price, and that they don’t give you any inclination as to what it will cost until you get them there.

These guys went out of the way for me. From troubleshooting over the phone, to also answering questions about other stuff, I am really happy with this company. Friendly electrician was able to fix my issue quickly. I will be calling them next time I have electrical issues! 5 stars.

Previous electric company was saying I need a whole new panel over $10,000 insurance company did a claim which showed.. that was not true I did not need a new panel..so I called J&M who confirm that I did not need a new panel. They were able to find out what the problem was and fixed it. They are truly my heroes I would highly recommend. Pricing very reasonable.

The tech mario came out because our ac had stopped. He was very professional and very knowledgeable he figured out quickly what the problem was went to get the part and installed it. The electricity suddenly went out in our Master Closet on 23 June and we had a scheduled flooring installation scheduled for the 25th. They sent a technician out in the afternoon who identified the problem and fixed it. He was very professional and personable. I found the cost to be fair and competitive and would use them again and recommend them to others.

They have done electric work at our facility and did it professionally and in some instances with very little time in advanced noticed.
