Professional services, good manners, and a really well done job.

Over the past 5.5 months, Gen 3 completed large-scale upgrades for my house. Specifically, they installed a multi-room mini split system, rewired my entire two-floor rowhouse (to remove knob and tube), upgraded the capacity of the service panel, upgraded the thermostat wiring, and switched us from a gas water heater to a hybrid heat pump. Two things are particularly notable about this company. The first is that you can call, email, or text them, and someone gets back to you—you can find them if things go wrong or you have a question. The second is that they hold themselves to a higher standard than I did in many cases, and if they were not satisfied with how something turned out, they decided to redo it, at their expense, on their own.Everyone has been friendly, respectful, and patient in terms of their office staff. Of all of them, I’ve spent the most time talking to Jess, one of the coordinators, who has deftly and attentively handled all of the projects from the office side, from helping me figure out financing options to laughing at my bad jokes. The service and install teams are knowledgeable, take time to explain things when I ask 10,000 questions, and keep me updated as they work (e.g., needing to shut off power or water rather than just doing it). I’m sure I'm forgetting someone, but Griffin, Joe, Erik, Josh, Rome, Ken, John, Stephen, Kevin, Dan, and Keith were all great.Next up, I’m hoping they’ll install a disco ball in my living room!
