After several months having issues with mom and pop electrical shops and even the national brand Mr.Sparky. These guys came out and fixed my outdoor spot lights within an hour. I asked if they had time to also look at my smart switches that I have been struggling with. Without hesitation they installed all my smart home switches. Now I can turn my lights on and off with just voice commands.

Will definitely use Bison Electric for all future projects.

I love Metroplex Electric. The prices are so reasonable and techs are knowledgeable, polite friendly and they always provide quick service. This is my whole family’s go to company for all electrical needs.

I’ve used them for a few jobs but will now switch to someone else. The first job was installing lights and everything went great even though they were short handed on techs. Bo was very personable and did the job as promised. Second time I had outlets installed on my awning. They did not install the outlets to the original layout, and they left slivers of metal from the awning being drilled all over the patio. I contacted Bo and he came out and corrected the issues and cleaned up the metal. I suggested they got a rolling magnet for their trucks for jobs like this. Figured it was a lesson learned for the business and would use them again. I hired them a third time for a hottub. Job went well until again the metal slivers left on the concrete. Sweeping does not pick up the slivers, a magnet has to be used. They said they did not have that equipment and they thought they got it good enough. I have kids and pets that get the metal stuck in their feet, so I had to invest in a rolling magnet (you can get them at Home Depot) to make sure the metal was picked up. Today (Friday)I had a shed installed and a breaker was tripped. The breaker needed to be replaced, I had no electricity in part of my house. I called them and they were not able to come out same day. And wanted me to wait until Monday. I know I haven’t spent the most with this business but I have spent a lot and have been loyal to using them. But that means nothing when your in a tight spot. Between not adding a cheap simple tool to their trucks and not having the means for urgent calls Unfortunately they have lost future business . Bliss was able to come out right away and have the breaker replaced in 15 minutes! Yes they were here for less than 20 mins but passion couldn’t make that time for me.
Update: I had them run the electrical for my shed including upgrading the power supply to the house, new breaker box for the house, and breaker box for the shed. This project was a 2 day task with two guys. It wasn’t easy or cheap but Bo really worked with us on everything. The installation went pretty good besides the tech trying to poach future business and having less than positive attitude about his employer but over all it was a good experience. Fast forward several months, our microwave starts acting funny, flashing, shorting out. We ended up replacing a fuse in it thinking it was just a cheap off brand microwave. We later learned that the microwave which is also on the same circuit as the oven was shorting because of the common wire in the breaker box wasn’t tighten down and arcing causing it to short out. So glad we were able to figure it out on our own before the house burned down. My husband was able to fix it and he went through all of them to make sure they were tight so we don’t have the problem in the future.

Toby's quote was about 20% less but the quality of work was excellent. I needed a big change with my old horse barn and hot water heaters and I am clueless about electricity. I just plug things in or flip a switch Toby was the third estimate I was quoted. Additionally Toby took the time to listen to my needs and wants then he explained (more than once even drawing me a picture) what he could accomplish. He was honest, knowledgeable and respectful. When I showed the estimate and picture to my husband , he stated Toby knew his stuff and approved the expenditure. We have already asked Toby to put us on schedule for another project.

Mike & Todd were very professional and knowledgeable. They worked hard all day in the scorching heat upgrading our electric panel and making electrical repairs in our well house and upgrading an underground junction box. They showed up on time with everything they needed to complete the job and cleaned everything up before they left. Thanks for a job well done! I called Brian to do the electrical install for a new hot tub in my backyard. Brian was very professional and prompt. Due to issues with the hot tub delivery, I had to reschedule several times during the week, but Brian was very patient, understanding, and accommodating to these changes. He even came out on a Saturday morning (with literally hours of notice) to get the final install completed so we could enjoy the hot tub Saturday night. Brian checked back Saturday night to make sure we were all set to go. His communication and professionalism is excellent. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood the process and he genuinely wanted to get us in the hot tub as soon as possible and do it safely. We will definitely be using Blue Spark and Brian for our next electrical project.

Isiah and his team are awesome. Just used them on a large remodel project. I was referred to them by a realtor. Best electrician I’ve ever worked with. Fast, efficient, and does quality work. And most importantly, he was very willing to work WITH me on coming up with the plan, explaining different options and the pros and cons of each. Sometimes I have to call in the pros and calling Owens was a great decision. Jack and Tim figured out the problems, added a few things I wanted, and it works great. Would recommend and we'll use again if needed for future work.

They came to my house in order to “give me a quote” but I never heard back from them even after I followed up with them asking when I could expect a quote.
Seems super unprofessional and disrespectful to come into someone’s home and not even give a quote.

They charge 75$ for an estimate which is completely fine with me. A contractors time is valuable and they should be compensated accordingly, even for just an estimate. I scheduled an appointment with them to come out and give me an estimate for a large amount of work at my personal residence. A few hours before they were supposed to come out, I called their office and spoke with their office manager and asked them if the estimate would be a thorough estimate. What I mean by that is, will they break down the estimate and give me the cost of each part of the job (for example, to install outlets will cost x amount of dollars times total amount of outlets to be installed = x amount of dollars) vs just giving me one big lump sum number for all the work with no breakdown. If I am paying 75$ for an estimate, I want it to be thorough. The office manager was not sure so I asked if I could get an estimate from any previous jobs they have done before (with any personal information removed or redacted) to give me an idea of what their estimates look like. She told me she didn't know how to do that and kept going on and on about how they include pictures with their estimates as if that was sufficient, but that did not answer my question so I asked her to contact an electrician. The electrician contacts me several minutes later and told me they were not going to come out and give me an estimate anymore because I didn't want to pay for an estimate. Which was completely false. I am totally okay with paying for an estimate, I just want to know whether it will be thorough. The electrician didn't even ask me to clarify or anything just told me they were not coming out anymore. I guess the office manager I spoke with told the electrician something different than I what I had said. Miscommunication happens but before doing something rash, maybe try clarifying with the potential customer first.

Had a generator installed by this company. Everything initially was perfect. The crew that installed the generator did an excellent job.

After they left things went down hill! I had to repair a whole in my garage from the new electrical box, that was not covered in the initial sales call. Then I had to manage the inspectors to check the work and the gas company to complete the process.

I was told the owner was going to call me concerning an add for a free serge protecter that I had just paid $350.00 for!

He never called ……. Several times I called with questions and left a message, and never received a call back!

This company took my money and completely disappeared from sight.
