I am a recent first time home owner and needed an electrician. I called new York City electricians and George called me back within minutes and was able to come out and do an estimate the next day. Once we started work he was on time, professional and incredibly informative. He took the time to make sure I really understood everything he was doing, why he was doing it and where the costs were being allocated.

This was my first time working with an electrician and it was a great experience. He wrapped up all of his work quickly and all the work was done very well.

I have recommended them (and especially George) to multiple friends in the area, and will certainly use them again for any electrical needs.

LED is great! They were able to squeeze me in two days before Christmas to install 3 ceiling fixtures and repair an outlet, saving me from having to eat Christmas dinner under bare light bulbs! Worked with three technicians so far and they were all great.

Rarely have I worked with an electrician who was as responsive and prompt as Asset Electric. He offered options on how to get the work done most efficiently, and even called after the job was done to make sure things were working properly. There are a couple of other electric projects I’ve been putting off for a while because I’ve had trouble finding a reliable electrician, I’m definitely going to get them done now.

Alex did all the electrical work that was needed for my apartment renovation. He worked well with the super and made sure all work done was according to the coop requirements. He followed all Covid safety protocols while working in the apartment. We are very satisfied with his work and would recommend him.

We lost power Friday due to an outdoor electrical short. It was scary with sparks flying and smell of smoke. Fire dept came, then Con Ed to shut off power source for safety. We needed a licensed electrician to get power back. Joe came Saturday to take a look and came back next day Sunday with coworker 8am sharp and fixed it. Great service!

Earl was very professional in his approach to the job. Very knowledgeable and patient in dealing with the client. He always was on time and quite thorough on the job. We needed to have our meter replaced, including wiring. He dealt directly with Con-Ed, setting up appointments and follow-ups. We were in good hands. Tara, at the office, complements the service received from Earl. She was a pleasure to work with. Earl also did some additional work for us, as a result of my satisfaction in the prior work performed. I unreservedly recommend the company

Leaving a review because I'm impressed with the transparency. I explained the job and he was very upfront and told me that he wouldn't be able to do it as he isn't well versed. As someone who uses many electricians that can pretend to know what they're doing, the honesty was refreshing.

We had an incredible experience with Handykith. They were very knowledgeable and professional, and took great care when working with the electrical wiring and installing light fixtures. They also made as few cuts into the drywall as possible, and left the place very tidy. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to do electrical work!

Showed up for about 5 minutes and spent most of the time talking on his cell phone. He told me he couldn't solve the problem then charged me $175.00. Basically a scam artist.
