I can’t even begin to explain the amount of panic I was in when I called New York City Electricians. I had an incident in my apartment with one of my electrical outlets and was desperate for someone to come out and take a look right away. I spoke to George on the phone who immediately put me at ease. I explained the situation and he worked to get someone out to me within a few hours and I was so appreciative. Not only that, but he continued to update me on the technicians arrival time and checked in throughout the process and you don’t always get that level of service in NY. Emilio was the technician who arrived and he was very professional and handled the job thoroughly and within 30 minutes. I am forever thankful for how professional and quickly they handled the job and will be using them again should I ever have another electrical issue! Can’t thank the team enough!

I had a circuit blow during a rainstorm which caused all the lights in the apartment to go out. Thought it was going to be a big job, but Rich was able to come early the next morning and fixed it in 20 minutes. His rate is reasonable. Highly recommend!

Ilya is the freaking best. He's fixed or installed a number of things for me in two apartments over the last few years -- light fixtures, ceiling fans, dimmers, etc. He's easy to reach, easy to schedule with, and shows up as planned.

I always learn stuff when working with Ilya -- he'll explain what's going on, if you're interested. He has informed opinions on what ceiling fans are reliable, what fixtures are worth the money, etc. He called the manufacturer to get to the bottom of my ceiling fan issue. He'll give you options.

Recently I had an issue with the wiring for a light fixture. I thought I could it fix myself, with just a little help for safety and peace of mind. Ilya did a video call for 10 minutes and steered me in the right direction, at no charge.

I had an emergency and called there 24/7 Number and my electrical problems were solved In a timely fashion with a professional manner, the staff care about there clients and I highly recommend this company.

ASH Electric Corp has been a lifesaver! We needed to get electric work done in a rental property downtown, and they were the only licensed, experienced electrician we could find available. Not only did they do an excellent job, they worked quickly and efficiently. They're also very affordable - we couldn't be happier with the cost! Highly recommended!

We were fooled by the high Yelp rating. BUYER BEWARE. TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS, hack plumbers and electricians. Make sure you scroll down to bottom of the reviews page to click on '41 other reviews that are not currently recommended'. Somehow this way their bad reviews are hidden. We hired Ricardo and Dinesh to relocate our gas and water lines and add electric to build a brand new kitchen. Plumber license 1504 belongs to a master plumber called Johnny (Johnny P&H contrac inc). CN hides this as he has terrible reviews!

1. Ricardo sold us on the idea that they have done this before and would drill holes through the center of the floor joists according to DOB code to move the lines but instead they cut 12 inches by 3 inch deep cuts on the top of structural floor joists, and several holes for electrical totally illegal and not to code and dangerous. My husband knows the building codes, and was shocked to see this so he brought in a structural engineer who said the floors are compromised and unsafe and not to let them even touch the joists any further. When my husband questioned Ricardo, he became aggressive and said drilling holes through the joists would require much more labor and materials, but that is what we had paid him a lot of money for!!! Now we are spending thousands of dollars getting it fixed. THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF EVEN BASIC NYC BUILDING CODES. See the pics, THEY BOTCHED 10 structural joists in the living room.

2. They cut the ceiling of our downstairs neighbor, left early without informing my husband. Our neighbor was furious, and when my husband called Dinesh, he made up LIES AND EXCUSES acting like he didn't know what happened.

LASTLY #3 - They illegally shut off gas meters without immediately notifying DOB & Con Edison of gas leaks which is required by law and waited 1 week to notify DOB & Con Edison because they were trying to sell the co-op board on a $91,000 solution to fix the basement and when the board asked them for more documentation and details after a walkthrough on Friday at 5:30 PM, they knew they couldn't provide legal documentation and continue the scam of the co-op so they immediately notified DOB & Con Edison only for them to come on Friday night at 8:30 PM to shut off gas for the whole building BEFORE THE SNOWSTORM.

I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TACTICS AND USE SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOUR PROJECT.

We started having power issues after installing a new AC unit at our office. It kept blowing out the fuzzes and the company we used to install it originally did not want to help. We got in touch with Shneur at Two Lights Inc and he was able to help us fix the issue very quickly. He worked some wire magic and everything works perfectly. Now I know, when installing AC units or anything that has to do with electrical, I'll be calling Shneur at Two Lights Inc. Thank you Shneur!

I would give more stars if I could. Joseph did an awesome job installing our tv mount over our fireplace. It looks great, will definitely call him again when we get ready to have our other TVs hung on the walls.

I was extremely happy working with this company. Usually it’s really a hassle working with contractors. But the team at DandR were awesome. They were very responsive and professional. They kept their word the whole way to the completion of the job. Will definitely be recommending them and will use them for future renovations!

I made an appointment for a number of small jobs to be done around my apartment. The handyman came on time and was accommodating to all my requests. He was friendly and thorough. I needed custom wood blinds installed, a light fixture in a closet replaced (that I couldn't get my building super to do it), a towel holder installed in the kitchen and a number of wall units installed. One of the walls was cement but it wasn't a problem and the end result was very professional. I thought the price was fair given the great service I received.

And I want to add that that that they PRANKED CALLED MY HOUSE! WHY? I DON'T KNOW!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I NEVER even used their services....and they have been HARASSING ME with phone calls....with prank calls in the evening hours! If it keeps up, I will DEFINITELY report them to the Authorities and the Better Business Bureau!!!@

I paid Andrew upfront for the electrical work, at the price I was quoted. He did some of the work and promised that he would return to complete the job. 1 year later (13 months to be exact), even with reminders, the work still has not been completed. This behavior is completely unprofessional.
